Problems HotSync - Bluetooth option missing in connections

After installing Windows 7 RC, 64-bit, I had to HotSync my Tungsten E2 with Bluetooth, rather than use the cable.  I bought and installed an Azio Bluetooth dongle (and included the Toshiba Bluetooth software) without a hitch. However, when I created my HotSync options I found that I couldn't choose Bluetooth because the option was not simply present on HotSync Manager/connections.  VERY frustrating.

Buried deep in a another thread on this forum was the solution: go to control panel | Programs, remove the Bluetooth drivers and restart.  The device is installed with the Windows drivers again.  As if by magic, the Bluetooth option appeared on the HotSync Manager Connections window and everything was good.

Of course, some computers come with the included Bluetooth option.  For those with x 64 Windows AND have the third-party Bluetooth drivers (other than Windows) AND are having HotSync problems because there is no way to activate the Bluetooth option, the hotfix may be similar - uninstall the drivers and use the native Windows drivers instead.

I suspect that this issue can come down more, that those who do not always have HotSynced with Bluetooth is now required to do it because they are moved to x 64 Vista or Windows 7.  Palm does not have this problem on one of their pages to support - that I could find.

YES!  It worked for me: "buried deep in a another thread on this forum was the solution: go to control panel | Programs, remove the Bluetooth drivers and restart.  The device is installed with the Windows drivers again.  As if by magic, the Bluetooth option appeared on the HotSync Manager Connections window and everything was good."

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I got this HP Envy 13-d053sa (Win10 installed in the factory) for a few months now, always allowing me to connect using my fingerprint today.

Today, I found that I had lost my PIN and my option of sign-in fingerprints had disappeared from the setting menu. I managed to set up a new PIN, but the rest available footprint (not even a flashing light on the device itself). (Incidentally, Norton Internet Security has also stopped working and I had to remove and re-install.)

    Hi Steve,

    1. what operating system is installed on the computer?

    2. are you able to connect other Bluetooth devices to the computer?

The first thing you need to check is that the Bluetooth device is installed correctly or not. Check in Device Manager and see if you have a yellow fringe on the Bluetooth.

Step 1:  Check if one recognizes oneself in the Device Manager, go to Device Manager follow the steps listed below.

    a. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

    b. click System and Maintenance, click System and then click on Device Manager.

Note: If the control panel is in Classic view, double-click System, and then click Device Manager.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    (c) in Device Manager, expand the device; check if it shows all the marks on your drivers listed.

Check the Bluetooth device is discoverable and that your computer is set to enable Bluetooth devices to connect to your computer.

Step 2: Also, try the following steps:

    a. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and sound and then click Bluetooth devices.

    b. click on the Options tab, select the Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer check box and then click OK.

Follow the steps in the below items to solve the problem.

  • AirPlay only list bluetooth headset after the connection

    Hi all

I wanted to see if it's just me or other people see this. I use iPhone 5 that I've recently updated to iOS10. In my daily use, I connect headphones bluetooth (4.0), MPOW Swift is the brand, to listen to music or watch YouTube videos. With iOS 9.x I never had a problem with the headphones recognized and used by all applications via AirPlay immediately. With iOS 10, which is not true. They connect as I see the icon in the status bar of the phone and Bluetooth settings section says that it is connected but when I go to music app and click on AirPlay they are not listed. I found to solve the problem, I must forget the device to the headphones and then repair and immediately their names still AirPlay and sound comes from the app through the headphones. This is the best though, if I turn the headset off power (disconnect device), then reconnect, I'm back to the same problem where they do not appear in the AirPlay and I pairing again.

Anyone else see this problem? Unfortunately, I don't have another bluetooth headset to test this.

    Thank you!
    Jeff

I'm having the same issue. It happens with all my Bluetooth devices. The Bluetooth is connected, as indicated by the icon in the status bar, and the said device. But music, iHeartRadio etc. play via speaker phone. Curiously, the phone works via Bluetooth and the active key Siri is not a problem of Bluetooth.

I did some research and tried to reset my network settings as recommended without result. Now whenever I turn in a Bluetooth device, I have to connect manually if I want to use it for anything other than the functions of the phone. Very annoying.

    Apple, any suggestions?

  • missing wireless connections

Recently, my computer pc G6 D1C14UA pavilion laptop was very slow, so I deleted a bunch of applications and programs out there. He started to work faster, but then all of a sudden my internet has exploded. I went to network connections and there is no wifi option available, and my only option is to connect to broadband. I tried to understand for hours, what is happening. the actual router is fine as I am currently connected with the ethernet cable and the wifi works on other devices, but I do not know why no network will come. I have troubleshooted networks and he says that he has no problem. When I go on my PC folder and go on managing in Device Manager > maps there a small box of yellow alert next to Ralink RT3920 802.11 bgn Wifi network adapter. I went to the HP site and reinstalled thinking I have can I have erased on the accident, but it still has a small yellow box.

Please if you can help or give advice what to understand.

    Thank you

    Hello

Connect via ethernet again and first uninstall the driver from Device Manager wireless and then download - install the latest version of HP support again and check...

If it happened after a recent update, then do a system restore to a date where worked the wireless... That might help...
