After you restart the computer, and then try to install the program again, the sample window come up to ask me the same question. and I tried several times, always the same results. So now, I can not re - install the program at all.

So I downloaded and installed Dreamweaver CS3 from the Adobe download page. However when I run the program wonder my serial number. I enter my serial number for CS3, but I get a message saying "the serial number you entered is not valid." I type the number exactly as it comes in print on my installation disc box I can say. I triple checked the number. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can install the program correctly?

  When you go to activate CS6, it should indicate that your serial number is valid but cannot find a product calling it on the machine (it would be CS5.5).  There is a selection list where you select the previous version (CS5.5) as well as an entry where you enter the serial number for this older version.
