• Slide transition problem

  Hello! Here's the problem I am facing a sample app developed to learn the transition between slides.
  The effect I want to achieve is similar to that used on the blackberry os in the home screen: buttons are arranged horizontally at the bottom of the screen and when you drag the trackpad down other buttons are revealed.

  Leaving aside the problem already solved on the Organization of the various elements of the UI on the screen, I have developed a home screen, the screen that you see when you open the sample application and a second screen, the screen that slides to the bottom of the screen.

  The home screen is completely opaque, while the second screen has a transparent background in the upper area, let's say 1/3 and a partially transparent with the remaining 2/3 bottom.

  This is the code that implements and enable the transition from the home screen to the second screen:

  The transition is working as desired and as expected when you press the second screen on the top of the home screen: I can see the homescreen remaining fixed and the second screen appearing with the movement of the slider.
  The problem arises when the second screen to bring up the home screen to burst again: now, instead of having the second screen sliding down, I see the display content while descending.

  I think that the error is in the transitionOut attributes, but I tried a lot of combinations of values without success.

  The code is targeted for API 6.

  The slide seems fine form 0 to 100, but when returning to 0 I see a dark line at the right position, but the blade is fully complete:

  I can't think about a problem when updating a control in a thread that Dow clean the Panel where control.

  You could PostDeferredCall in the thread of a function that updates the control by passing the value function callbackData: delayed recall is executed in the main thread, which is the one that normally manages the user interface, unless you have loaded the Panel in the separate thread (which do not).

• Problems with graph XY 'forget' field properties

  I have problems with a graphic XT in my loop.

  The graph has 10 locations which at any time can have anything from 0 to ~ 1000 points, often a few plots will have much less ploints than others. There is an option to select the user to view all items or just the most recent game.

  My problem is I want the chart to reflect the data input and a single point during an update, so I have a string of points rather than a line.

  When I click with the right button on the chart and go to properties, I change the style of point of full circle and turn off the interpolation of the line. I then click on save these default values and save the vi.

  However, once I run the vi, the graph keeps parcels 1 through 9 (not ground 0, this remains as I want) to have no displayed point and the line of interpolation on.

  Anyone had this problem before? Ho solve you this problem?

  I know it can be fixed, because I had this problem a few months ago on a similar vi and after weeks of struggle, I solved it, but I just do not remember how I did it.

  With regard to the problem expressed in your initial post:

  This is due to a bug in the software LabVIEW by which all changes that are made to the parcel properties (for example to change the color of a conspiracy) will not be retained, except in field 0 that is not affected. Our R & D department are currently studying this problem so that it can be fixed in future version of the software. The solution recommended for this problem is to pragmatically set parameters of track at the beginning of the code using nodes of property.

  As I understand it, is not the main issue you are experiencing. If you are setting the properties for a field (using a few nodes property described (e) which are then deleted or rewritten on a XY Chart, I understand, is that there is no way that LabVIEW can remember and preserve these properties.

  As you rightly suggested, a way to easily overcome this problem would be to define default chart properties, so that when you remove/rewrite a piece and then add it again, it is always by default these properties. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to do even if it was recommended as a suggestion of product is a feature that is to the study of implementation in future releases of LabVIEW.

  I think that the question you need to address is the fact that you're at some point reset the graph by sending an empty array to him such that the set of your property are lost. If you can find and remove this section in your code, you should be able to solve your problem.

• Two problems with the Acrobat DC text properties

  Since the switch to Acrobat DC, I have two questions, I have not been able to solve on my own.

  I can't change the default color of text in a text box in Acrobat DC. I chose "Text box add", type something in the box, choose 'Text properties,' change the police, size, and color, right-click from the edge of the area, then 'Create the current properties default.' It worked with Acrobat Pro, but with Acrobat DC it doesn't. The text I changed red returned to black. The other properties are OK.

  In Acrobat DC, I added the properties of text for quick access, but it does not work there. I highlight text, click text properties in the Quick Access toolbar, and nothing happens, but if I click on the text properties on the toolbar to comment, then the menu drop down appears and I can change the properties. I don't want to have the opening of the toolbar of comment, too much space on my screen.

• Camtasia user moving to Captivate 9 - I want that all slide transition at the entrance and exit

  I am a user learning captivate Camtasia and would like to have a transition between slides when entering (fade in black), out (fade to black).

  I'm not aware of such a document. But Camtasia and Captivate are completely different animals. So, I'd be surprised to find many commands that were the same.

  You mention slides so I guess that you do not use Captivate as you would Camtasia. (Both can be used in a similar way if you use Captivate in demo mode). And then, if you were doing that I'm not sure why you need to pass Camtasia as is the much better product for this record type.

  If you are wanting to fade to or from black, I think I would use an object to display with a black fill, then move the fade in or out to achieve your desired effect.

  As VMware Server end of support announced ( http://www.vmware.com/support/policies/lifecycle/general/index.html) I was looking at transition to VMware Server 2 of VMware WorkStation. I have a Red Hat Linux host machine that has a VMware Server running on it with a single virtual machine. I was hoping to find out what are the problems might face to make the transition from one environment to another.

  I am aware that the server and the workstation cannot co exist on the same system, so basically I need to uninstall the server and install the work station. I am also aware that virtual machines are generally compatible between the two products. I also read on the comparison between products. ( http://vmfaq.com/entry/5/ )

  Are there other traps?

  You can download the VIX API (it contains the text console vmrun command - he didn't need a desktop case to run) from here.

  If you install the VIX API in a remote machine (not here where the workstation it is installed), you will be able to administer the computer zone in a passing distance.

  Of course, you can do the same thing on the workstation itself locally, using vmrun/vix it is included with workstation.

  Here you will find a tutorial on using vmrun to administer the virtual machine.

• Slide transitions

  I created a training of 31 slides with different objects and audio on it.

  The transition is set on "seamlessly." But still, when I publish the project on each slide translition I see a white background, just for a glimpse of the time.

  What should I do to get transitions smoothly, where the slide content is gliding in to the next?

  Check that all the common elements on each slide do not have their own melted in or applied fade.  What you may not see because of snow but the objects on slides not starting not not on the first image.

  Also, if you use Master slides, make sure that all the objects on the master are set for without Transition.

• Slide transitions do not work

  I imported a small set of PowerPoint slides with no transition, and I added transitions between slides in Captivate. But after on slide 4, transitions get stuck on halfway on each slide, if the slide contains the transition mess stuck on it. I removed all the transitions, but they don't always disappear - they are there in the preview and to publish, even after registration, closing Captivate, publish again, etc.

  Yes, Captivate handles well PPT animations. But it does not matter the PPT objects separately. He picks up the PPT slide and imports it into a slide of animation. Therefore, you don't see the internal slide PPT inside Captivate objects.

  Also, if you have Powerpoint installed on your machine, then it is useless to return to Powerpoint and make changes. You can do it directly using the function Edit PPT of Captivate 4.0.

• Problem reading the slides

  Hello.
  
  I'm having a problem when I play a slide (either by using the SPACEBAR or F3). When I press the space bar, the Red progress line becomes very agitated and jumps. The problem occurs in each slide in that one particular file.
  
  The file has been recording with:
  
  Create another type of film - Virgin movie
  callout text boxes are Transparent or Cosmos font Arial.
  audio is recorded directly in the callout text boxes (CD quality)
  the first slide uses a legend of animating text using the font Bodoni Poster, size 48
  almost every slide has a Transparent using fonts Bodoni Poster, size 24
  Cadence is 30
  and the images are either simple copy and glue paint or .jpgs.
  
  I have saved a number of lessons and have never encountered this. Most of the lessons I've recorded previously were new movie Record - full screen and not create another type of film - Virgin film.
  
  There seems to be no performance issues when the video is played, just during playback of the slide - it's time a pain.
  
  I am using Captivate version 1.
  
  Any help or idea would be highly appreciated.

  I discovered the source of the problem!

  My legend text boxes are Transparent. If I use another type, the slide is fluid but it hiccups to Transparent.

• Trying to solve a problem with the list under display properties screensaver!

  When I try to put my screensaver, gout dwon displays a completely blank entry followed by (None) & the list of available screensavers.  Every time I choose (none), it is up to the last installed screen saver.

  An example: the last installed screen saver was ArcSoft Photobook screensaver.
  So, when I select (none) for no screensaver, it is up to the ArcSoft Photobook screensaver.

  This happens each & everytime I have add a new screen saver.
  (None) option always returns to the last screen saver installed.

  There are moments that I need the option screensaver set to (none).

  Any ideas on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

  Not sure as to what I did, however, my problem with the screen saver has been fixed.

  I've been messing around with a number of things that I thought might have caused this problem.  And wala, suddenly the problem existed no more!

• Problem with volume slide bar time long-term z5 double

  Whenever I press the volume button to increase the volume upwards or downwards in all cases, such as when you watch a video or listen to a song or during the call of tge.., the bar sliding volume appear at the top of my screen, but it takes very long time and unusual to be disappeared from the screen. Or I have to touch anywhere on the screen to disapper immediately.
  I'm having this problem for the last 3 months.
