  I am trying to install a trial version of the adobe Illustrator.  (I already bought and installed photoshop CS5)  In any case the Deputy Downloader told me it will take 4 hours for install-is correct?  In addition, whenever I tried to finish the installation, with my Adobe ID and language, the error message appears telling me to close the following application: Bridge CS5.    BUT IT IS NOT OPEN.  So, I tried three times turn my computer, and every time the same message appears telling me to close the bridge.  What is the problem?  I need help!  My project is due by tomorrow night at midnight, so could get back you to me as soon as POSSIBLE?  Thank you!

  What operating system do you use?

  If in Windows, follow these steps to close the bridge:

  1. go to the Task Manager.

  2. click on the "Processes" tab and then click "show processes from all users".

  3. find the bridge.exe in the process list. Select it and click on end process.

  If you use a Mac,

  1. navigate to the activity monitor.

  2. Select "All processes" from the drop down on the top of the dialog box.

  3. look for the bridge in the list. Select it and click process to quit.

  Reinstall the application.

  The download time depends entirely on your Internet connection speed.

  Go to the preferences and set the correct version of Illustrator for editing. I'm not on a machine with AA DC right now, so cannot give accurate directions. For AA 8 on this machine, the settings are located under the category edits.

  I don't know if you have found a solution, but after some research I found that by clicking on "Buy this software" and then entering your serial number is CS6 to launch again as usual.
