  As a total newbie to Flash, I thought I'd try working through the tutorials. Did not take long until I hit a brick wall.
  
  Basic tasks: creating a component 2 banner, that would create an object rectangle with the line and fill value "without color" properties so that you can turn it into a button symbol to provide an invisible hotspot on your addition of the banner.
  
  I couldn't make it work. After a little research I discovered that, as far as I can see, the Act of:
  
  -drawing a rectangle with the line and filling, no color, the value
  or
  -affect the properties of line and fill the two no color on an existing rectangle,.
  
  causes the properties of the geometry of the square to change instantly to a width and height of 0 and X and are coordinated both at least 107374182.4. The properties are then glued, any attempt to manually rearm their, or a visible color for the line or fill, is not successful.
  
  (Which begs the question, how to create an invisible button, and reliable product in general?)
  
  So, I am doing something stupid? Any comments please?
  
  

  do you have to draw a filled rectangle as part of 'Hit' as dz suggested? You should do this with the 'fill' color, 'Hit' framework will automatically make not the box and it will be invisible, but you must use a filled shape.

  Currently, I'm learning how to handle the HTTP on BB10 connection. After Beta2 I find tutorial heredeveloper.blackberry.com HTTP connection.

  Generated the project successfully, but when I debug him on Simulator (10.0.0.6 version, oh I use Mac OS X Lion if that's important), I get the error message until the application ran: no source available for 'SyncCondvarWait_r() to 0xb0bf9c76. After that the application does not start.

  Select the property x of one of the segments, hold down the alt/option key and click on the stopwatch to add expression. Type "value +" then use the pickwhip to connect to your x-position slider. "." That's all.

  Now highlight the position x and go to the Edit menu and choose copy only expression. now select all of the layers on this side of your robot and paste.

  That should do it. The expression should read something like:

  value + thisComp.layer("controller").effect ("Slider Comtrol") ("Slider");

• Tutorial problems on a virtual machine

  I try GF by following the documentation [1] and I found some problem when running the tutorial in vFabric_GemFire_701_b40235/SampleCode/tutorial:

  The tutorial on src/com/gemstone/gemfire/tutorial/storage/GemfireDAO.java defines the "localhost [port]". I changed it to 'ip [port]' (both for customers and peers) and recompiled. The tutorial still works well, but as soon as I try to start a client in another node (virtual machine) it stops working:

  1. When I run the peer that I can see it connect to the location (with netstat on the first host), but it takes a long time to connect (more than 10 seconds) and the data is not shared between peers (should it be shared on this case?).
  2. When I run the client it does not start, it throws a NoSubscriptionServersAvailableException after printing "could not initialize a main queue at startup. No server queue available". I've not found much info on this exception, does that mean?

  This tutorial should work on a different node for both configurations (client and peer)? I'm not sure of installing peer, but I understand that this should work for the customer.

  PS: There is no firewall or anything else limiting the connection between the virtual machines.

  1. Start the servers and the Locator on $host1
  2. Launch gfsh on $host2
  3. Run "connect - locator = host1$ [$port]". " Gfsh appear something like this:
     Connection to the Locator to [host = $host1, port = $port]...
     Connection to the Manager at [host = $host1, port = 1099]...
     Connection refused to host: 127.0.1.1; nested exception is:...

  This exception relates to the connection manager? If so, why the host2 would try to connect to localhost? (Of course $host1! = 127.0.1.1)

  OK, after chasing my tail for a little, I think I see the problem.

  I guess you follow the tutorial here: running the tutorial

  At the point where the tutorial asks you to run the client (part 5: Set Up cache server), you must configure a pair of cache servers using the command gfsh and not by the Peer class running. The initPeer method is not enough for everything to work. Specifically, you will need to have in place a CacheServer (sorry - I know that the term "Server" is overloaded way here). Anyway, the CacheServer is what it takes to run and that the client connects to. If you start a server with gfsh, a CacheServer is started automatically.

  If you want to increase the initPeer method, to start a CacheServer, you can add the following bit of code right after that the Cache is created:

  CacheServer cs = cache.addCacheServer();
  cs.setPort(0);
  cs.start();
  

  Here a CacheServer is started and will listen on a random port. You could define a port, but need not if your customer uses a locator of discovery.

I select each of the four parts and go to the effects of scrolling to the left tab next to the tab layers first I get the same values for each of the four parts: first movement: x 0 and x 0 again for the movement of the left and right; key position (t-handle): 0px; final movement: x 0 and x 0 for the value of left and right.

  now, I hit "Preview". : the logo is "pinned" to the correct location, I can scroll but the logo stays where it is. So far so good...

  now, I select all four components again and go to the tab scroll to 'final motion' effecs, I click on the drop down arrow and enter 1 x. I struck an excerpt...

  When I scroll the WHOLE grave logo down... well.

  NOW, I want the first part of the logo down, THEN part II to move left, THEN the third part to go to the top, THEN the fourth part to go right.

  so I select ONLY the first part, go to the request of scroll, to the 'final movement' tab, I click on the left arrow, then I go 1 x. (the value of up-down, I put to 0 again)... I struck an excerpt...

  Looks like you have IIS as the Web server 'by default'.

  Try this http://localhost: 8080

  If that takes you to the Apache Web server, then you must set it as your default.

  News added: it is possible that both are listening on port 80 and IIS is a winner. To reconfigure IIS, open it and site web by default, you must change the site link. Http must be on port 8080.

  If Apache is already set to port 80, then you will not need to do anything else. I think that is fair. I don't know how to set up Apache to listen on port 80 if it is defined on port 8080. I do not have to look at.

  Make sure that you stop and restart your web services.

  I'm new to the Adobe Forum and have very recently purchased Dreamweaver CS4, my first step in the design of web sites. Anyway, I searched the forums and couldn't find an answer, but I am currently working with tutorial "Tableless layouts with Dreamweaver CS4" Stephanie Sullivan (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/css_2c_tableless.html) and have encountered a problem.

  I don't know I wrote the code XHTML CSS and index correctly as she exposed, but still the left margin of my maincontent div breaks in the right margin of the div. sidebar1″, instead of right border of a few pixels outside it. Here is my current XHTML and CSS code for convenience.

  I was going through the tutorial on the XML data for access to the (well written I must add) there was a little bug inside, due to an invalid assumption, and it takes the selectedIndex property of the grid, and it assumes it is the same as that of the XML language, which is not the case.   I understand that this tutorial is the XML "to get to the" not necessarily communicate with DataGrid. I have the same problem and I'm not coming up with a nice way to solve this problem, when you double-click a row in a data grid, you can detect his 'id' / number/child-entry (or the unique property of this entry).

  I don't want to analyze this example. Are you asking how to get an id or some other value, when you select a row in a datagrid?

  When you select an item in the list-based control, properety selectedItem control contains a reference to the dataProvider of element for the selected item. You can get goods that are present in this object:

  I am following the tutorial religiously and always I fight to run the tutorial.

  1. If you have databases 11.2.0.1, then use
  Grant select on NDM_US_NODE$ to ndmdemo;
  Grant select on NDM_US_LINK$ to ndmdemo;

  See the comments in the file demo.sql.

  2. If the network exists in the user database you are testing on, so you should not see these error messages.

  3. Please try again after correcting problem 1. In addition, it seems that the partitions are not responsible for blobs. Please make sure that the LODConfigs.xml in your folder from the lod is loaded correctly.
