  Hi all

  According to the manual on the rear connector of the add-on SCXI-1540 is a PIN (19) described as OUTREF.

  It connects directly on spindle AISENSE E series data acquisition cards.

  But there is no mention of this PIN in the manual.

  Is it possible to generate a voltage ref in the scxi 1540 and thus a measure of NRSE on data acquisition?

  So first of all, you can certainly use the Ref Out as your floor floating for NRSE measurement.  If we look at the considerations of field wiring tutorial, he talks about these configurations a little more away.  I have trouble understanding what you're trying to reach beyond that.

  These programs are written in Labview 6.x and integrated in a software, which can detect the DAQ (PCI-6052E) card, a series of input modules (SCXI-1520) and then collect the data from the input modules simutanously.

  1. how to make a menu drop-down list all the modules detected, and then the customer can choose between them? Looks like the former programmer do that with property node...

  2. now, we have a new input module (SCXI-1530). However, the software says it can only suppor SCXI-1531 and cannot detect SCXI-1530, although MAX can do. The difference between SCXI-1530 (4 channels) and SCXI-1531 (8 channels) is the number of channels. It is possible to modify the software and make it compatible with SCXI-1530?

  You're right, aid for SCXI Information.vi does not have the types of module for SCXI-1530/1531. The function C (SCXI_Get_Module_Info) in the Start Menu > all programs > National Instruments > NOR-DAQ > traditional NOR-DAQ function reference Help contains 48: SCXI-1531; 50: SCXI-1530.

  The SCXI-1540 module provides excitement, so the same amount of excitement is provided by the module, even if the LVDT shorts.  No additional current should come.  Hope this helps!

• Problem with FMIS 4 and streaming of live events

  We have a problem on our platform and its makes us crazy... No seriously... NUTS.

  We have triple checked every possible component of a hardware level to a level of the software configuration.

  The problem: our platform consists of 2 servers of origin with 6 edges to speak for them (really strong material).  Once we inject a live stream into our two origins... we can properly get out the stream via the edges and listen to successfully through our player.  Once we hit about 2200 simultaneous connections, FMIS Server removes all connections busy with water courses.   Newspapers, the only thing we see is the following - tons of disconnections with the status code of 103 which, according to the online documentation, means Client is disconnected because of the server (or application unloaded).

  We have simulated the scenario with the Simulator FMS load utility... and we are starting to see errors + connections dropped around 2200 brand.
  

  The machines are Dell blades with dual processor Xeon (quad-core) with about 50 gigabytes of ram per server... The edges are all on 10 Gbps ethernet interfaces as well.

  We managed to generate a nice big fat coredump on the origin and the only thing visible from inspecting the core dumps + newspapers is the following:

  From what it seems that above, FMS is hard crashing when you try to use Clone (2) (it basically means when his tent spawn a new/another process).

  I really hope there is someone out there who can guide us in the right direction regarding how we can identify why our platform cannot cope with a pathetic 2200 connections before the demon FMIS drops all water courses.

  There must be someone out there who is facing this or a similar problem to this...  Help!

  I recently had problems with my microphone and speakers/headphones and game controllers.
  Sometimes the microphone stops working when on Skype, for example, but most of the time works fine, once again, when I restart the pc.

  Stakeholders sometimes still work when I connect headset.
  Some of the sounds are still coming through the speakers while some coming through the headphones.

  I have a usb game controller which also did not work everything properly.
  If I assign buttons in the program that they do not work in the game.

  All these devices are in Device Manager in a group that makes me think it's sort of annoying update doubtful that messes with them.

  Are you talking about internal microphone or external? This only happens using Skype?
  In your case I would test the microphone using different applications to make sure that is not a Skype related issue.

  I put t think its problem of laptop in my opinion, you must make sure that the controller is compatible with the games you play and also recommended to check some info provided by the manufacturer of the game controller.

• General hardware problems NB200-125 (screen and HD)

  NB200-125 my wife is around the age of 18 months and in the last few weeks will expose some strange problems. He started with a boot failier where unable to start windows XP, after trying to boot into normal mode and safe mode, a few times I tried to plug it to make sure it wasn't a battery problem, plug it helped and I managed to get it started and ran chkdisk who found a bunch of disk errors hard that it sets, and it is now ok start a few files have been lost, but it might just be chkdisk removal from areas of the HD.

  Now in the past 2 days we got 2 times where the screen is spent "in white" first to a black screen, then the second time for a green screen.

  Someone at - it for directions to know where to look to fix it? I thought that it would be the sort to change the HD until these errors to the screen.

  Of course, these problems can be hardware related but before I ask an authorized service provider you should try a recovery facility to the factory settings. Maybe Windows was confused to the top because of the previous problems so a reinstall would be useful.

  In order to take the way to recovery, and boot from it. Follow the instructions on the screen and restore the box settings.

  If still doesn't help really hardware related issue and it can be fixed to an authorized service provider.

  I was very happy to buy my Toshiba netbook.

• Problems with connecting fiber and new router AirPort

  I installed the fiber optic connection to replace my cable modem connection... I have a network of airport for a long time.   Unfortunately, Apple has designed their routers airport to work with a standard cable and DSL type connections. The fiber is a whole new game ball, and Apple has not yet learned the rules of the game, so you may or may not have a really hard question.

  Before you connected to the fiber "modem" Time Capsule, did first reset you back to default settings... and then... set up again I hope to work with the fiber optic router?

  Bottom line here... get the time Capsule working first with the "to modem" fibers.  Then start to add other devices to time Capsule one at a time.
