  Hi, I'm a desktop PC Windows 10 remote using Real VNC, TeamViewer, NoMachine and other access.

  Hey Fulmercurio, I did some searching around and perhaps found what was causing it. Apparently in Windows 8, anything that requires a GPU treatment would not be made (ex: closed the lid of the laptop or monitor). It is possible that it may have carried forward in Windows 10.

  Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

  You will need to restart Firefox before this takes effect so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  Then perform the following steps:

  1. Click the menu button

     

     then select the Options under Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux.

  2. Select the Advanced Panel, then on the general tab.
  3. Uncheck the use hardware acceleration when available.
  4. Restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

  I had a problem with my iTunes for a little while. When I opened the application, it opens as a completely white/white window. I can't select or anything and even the drop-down menus do not appear / are empty. Here is an example of what I see:

  This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  Step 1

  The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is localized to your user account.

  Select the feedback connections* and log in as a guest. Do not use the Safari connection only 'user comments' created by 'find my Mac '.

  While signed in as a guest, you will have access to your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you use them for the first time. Do not be alarmed by this behavior; It's normal.   I just upgraded to El Capitan on my Mac to find that I now have problems using my Tablet Wacom with Photoshop CS6. Looking at the discussions on this forum, I find that the sensible and apparently permanent solution is the white window workaround plugin. I found the link but it just usually open and install. CS6 open custom it and none of the applications on the app store's free zip entertain you it. I'm no whizz IT, but I'm not stupid either. Other people have this problem. Can anyone help?
