  I'm having a problem with my creation mode on a page I created in Dreamweaver CS5.

  Now, I can hardly see what is happening.

  It's good in Live View mode and also when published, but design view is like having a steering wheel towards the bottom of my pants... It's driving me crazy!

  For now, you have a large number of errors that need to be addressed, about 90 altogether.

  While some browsers allow to better interpereting what you wanted to do than others (IE being the absolute worst), DW is a maniac, especially in Design view. It is still displayed incorrectly in DW after you fix all the problems, after return and we can take a closer look.

• Problems with the pop-up menus of blu - ray

  I made the mistake of pointing this issue/problem on another similar post so here is still for some:

  I got this error message at the end of the generation of disc:
  
  Blu - ray error: "fatal error". Code: "6", notes: "the Graphics buffer overruns. & #8232; -not multiplex with maximum IG PTS: 54900000 (in 90kHz).
  
  I'm working on blu - ray is a live concert of 87 min with about 8 other much shorter deadlines.  The main menu has 6 buttons with a background of movement.  There are a few sub-menus as well, but the problem came when I started to make the context menus for the different timelines.
  
  It is the first project where I had to really explore the possibliltes and limitations of context menus again.  I burned a disc to test with just a pop-up menu base to see what the opacity of the menu would look over the final video.  All video assets were installed to transcode "automatically".  All the audio supports are blu - ray compatible ac3 Surround or stereo WAV 16 bit so could be left as "not transcode.  This disc perfectly.
  
  I then went through the process involved enough to make a final version of the main menus pop up.  Context menu of the main concert is 5 pages (including page 0).  There are specific menus of other timelines, but those who have no more than 2 pages.  None of the menus have more than 10 keys.
  
  I tried to burn the disc, and he returned with the above error.  After reading other posts, I thought that it was worth trying to remove the AuthorScriptHDMVSessions file before you start a new burn because it was already filled with files from my test burn.  That did not help.
  
  Any idea or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

  After countless tests and research, I finally have a blu - ray burned successfully with several contextual menus pages (that satisfies me) work.  Thanks to all who gave the theoretical orientation and suggestions in emails and other messages.  There had been no shortage of quirks and obstacles to overcome in trying just to make a blu - ray player.  Unfortunately, I don't have the time to identify precisely what was causing the error message.  The project just has to be.

  Main popup menu has 4 pages, with 13 buttons on each page.  Only about 5-9 on the "buttons" on each page are buttons that have a link anywhere.  The other buttons on each page only serve the remaining substantive pieces of the menu and are not accessible on the final drive.  Totally ridiculous how to make backgrounds for menus, but it works.

  Among other things I've learned about the menus pop - up + more misc:

  1. If possible, quite create a menu .psd before you import it into a project yet.  Create the button order in the .psd you want that he will eventually be the end (the bottom layer is 1 key).  If you edit and resave order once it has been brought, yet almost always return it to some strange order of buttons (possibly original).  You will spend all your time to re-routing of navigation button and change their numbers, only to discover later that even changed any return without notice.

  2. as many people of State, preferred to have still to make a reflection as little as possible  All my button groups initially had text layers in their breast with some fx applied.  I have merged each text layer down in the bottom layer of this button to essentially rasterize the text with the fx applied.  Each (+) group button so only was a Higlight and a background layer.  After doing this for all the buttons, the .psd file size is greatly reduced.  Naturally, I've saved a copy before you go through the process of merger where I never had to go back and change the text.

  3. originally, the background for the menus were made to cut out a rectangle of the background of the main menu.  It was the width of the frame and about 1/5 of the height.  I had changed the opacity to around 60% and cut the pieces to go with their respective button.  For the final disc, I just did a shape with the rounded and filled with solid color Rectangle tool.  It's likely that about half the size of the pop-up menu original background.  I changed its opacity as well, but then he merges with a layer of white so still didn't have to think about the opacity setting.

  4. I encoded all the video elements BEFORE they were brought into the project.  There are some problems with how the sizes of the files are interpreted by yet, but I will not trust him to encode anything again.

  5. for some reason any still wants to transcode 16 bits, .aiff files .wav files, 48.0 kHz by a blu - ray, but 16-bit 48.0 kHz do NOT need Trancoder (for DVD and blu - ray).

• Problem with bit of JavaScript that DreamWeaver is writing

  I'm having a problem with the code that DreamWeaver (CS3) is written. I'm fairly certain that the problem is in a small piece of JavaScript code that is compose of DreamWeaver.
  
  It is a pretty complex problem, so patient with me.
  
  First of all - what I'm trying to move: when a page on my site (the - oilman.com), I want a link that opens a new window in the store online at another site (AMSOIL.com). I need to leave the page on my site open and open this page "keep". Firstly that it works fine, using the 'open window' 'behaviour' in DreamWeaver. If someone wants to change windows (or tabs) and return to my page, also - leaving the window 'save' the problem is set up to occur. If back on my site, you click this account or a different link that goes back to the 'Bank' on the same page or on another page to AMSOIL.com - the "Save" window goes to the correct page, but "store" window does NOT come up on top. When they click on a link to return to the 'Bank' I need 'store' window to get to the top. If they have previously put something in the basket and come back and add something to the cart in the "store" coming from various links on my site that the 'Bank' works correctly because I leave it open all the time.

  I think what I need is a javascript longer. Instead of just "window.open" I need an 'if', but my knowledge of javascript is very, very limited.
  I need to check if the window called 'keep' is open then 'focus', or if it is not open to open the window named "keep".
  This will fix my problem? If so, please help me to write lines of code to do.
  If this isn't the solution, what is the problem and the solution?
  
  A separate but related matter: If you look at different links in the two codes, in calling one of them uses a page reference "null" and another repeat the full link of the href = attribute reference. Both seem to work, but which is the right or the preferred syntax. My guess is that there are some browsers this will give a problem, but where is the favorite.

  Thanks for the replies. I solved the problem. Because of a storm called Fay who dumped 20 "of rain here - power came out internet for days, road cut in 3 places to get out of the House - it is low priority for a week.

  Yes, I have quoted wrong snipets that had some left over code Go-Live, but it was not causing my problem. I had worked in the from pages before Go-Live and new pages in DreamWeaver that all did the same thing.
  The small piece of script that DW wrote that left me the problem:

  I have read all the threads on this error and with the pop up, but I couldn't find out the root cause.

  Currently, I am a student and worked with Dreamweaver in an attempt to build my portfolio website. I had my full and registered my Dreamweaver file root folder, then I have and he has given a site or designated a site, whatever it is called. I was about to load an image and I didn't like the way he was going to come along, so I tried to get out, but he wouldn't let me for some reason any.   You could try to use the Finder to locate the file that you are trying to open and compare his situation to the location of your site folder in setting up a Dreamweaver Site:

• problem with CSS copy paste in Dreamweaver CS4

  Having a problem in CS4 when I want to copy and paste things in my style sheet.
  Whenever I do ctrl + c to select something of any stylesheet gets selected. And this isn't what I want.
  Even is I want to copy something from another css in the css I work now it won't work.
  
  Anyone having the same problem and found a solution?

  Forgive me, I'm new to DW CS4, but I may have a solution.  I met the problem of css copy as well, but I have disabled (unchecked) "associated files to enable" (Edit-> preferences-> General-> Options of Document-> activate the associated files).  I had to restart Dreamweaver, but this seems to have fixed the bug.

  I've never used the function 'Enable related files', this isn't a big problem for me - much less of a big deal than not being able to copy and paste.  At least, it seems to be a stable work around the problem of "css copy paste.

  I hope that helps!  Let me know if that solves the problem for someone else.
