• Does not work with CS5 64-bit install CS5 32-bit license

  I used successfully with Windows 7 Professional 32 bit CS5.  A couple of days, I did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on this same machine.  Both CS5 32-bit and 64-bit were installed by Setup Photoshop on the 64-bit computer.  Both versions were on Adobe drive.  During the installation process, I was invited to enter the CS5 license key which I did - it has been accepted and CS5 has been installed successfully.

  When I clicked on CS5 32 bit, the program opens without any problem.  When I clicked on CS5 64 bit program opens on a screen that asks me to enter the key to license again and he tells me I can accept a 30-day trial.  When I enter the license key that I previously entered when installing the screen tells me that the license key is not valid.

  Is this normal?  Are there two separate license keys - for 32-bit and one for 64?  There is only a sticker on the product license key.

  I guess I would still like to know why CS5 32 bit works but CS5 64-bit says my license key is not valid.

  Well, if it's illegal, you can assume the index at this point has been updated and the server refuses to check it out. That said, the encrypted key is calculated by specific parameters of your hard disk and the operating system and stored somewhere safe. Change the operating system without recalculating the keys simply will make it invisible to the 64-bit applications because they never knew that he exists at all. In any case, at this point a vicious circle. Unless you straighten the legal issues and to purchase a duly authorized license, there is nothing that anyone can do.

• Problems with the 64-bit on Pavilion a6620f Vista Factory restore

  I had a hard drive failure and restoration on a new hard drive. The original HD is a 500 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 model ST 3500620AS. The new HD is a 500 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200 model ST 3500641AS - RK. I bought a set of restore for this HP computer disks.

  First problem was that disk 1 does not start from the internal CD/DVD drive. My Seagate drive boots fine on the same drive! I used an external USB CD/DVD drive and restore disks worked well on that. I went through the process of factory restore and in the end, I get an error message "installing Windows could not configure Windows to run on this computer hardware." I tried to change the BIOS setting from ACHI and IDE to SATA RAID with no luck. I tried to unplug the USB CD drive before the first reboot. That no longer works.  I unplugged the internal CD drive and tried different combinations with no luck. Need help I have run out of things to try! Does anyone have any ideas/thoughts?

  I had problems with mine too and got the same error on a HP Elite 8200 desktop computer business

  It was the first time I've ever had a problem with recovery disks.  It's very frustrating.

  I have a workaround if all goes well, you can use to get Vista on your PC...

  If you can read your 25-character product key MS, you can make your own Windows Vista installation disc. You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

  It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

  I tested both of them (just before going forward with the actual facility) and they seem to work perfectly.

  Apparently, when you enter the product key, he knows which version of Vista you have.

  I have both CS4 and CS5 installed on my laptop.  I want to free up space on my hard drive uninstalling CS4.  I want to assure you that I don't have any problem with my CS5 installed, that works perfectly.  Any suggestions?  The precautions I take?

  There is no way to prevent the problems I know.  Deleting an older version after a new installation problems.  You will have to perhaps to reinstall 5, or worst case, clean the system disk and reinstall all Windows on the spot.

  Does not not not saying things will go bad, just that they pourraient .  Be prepared.

  I re installed CS5.5 and everything is OK, but as soon as I udate to 5.5.1 I have the same problems. I also have problems with the Referance value Vect/YC Wave/RGB Parade monitor, when I make changes using RGB curves or fast color corrector REF monitors do not update.

  I did try a preset for Adobe and have the same problems.

  The BMD UltraStudio is installed on the laptop, as well? If this is not the case, this could be the culprit. I know you said that you used a preset for Adobe and it has always occurred on the workstation, but have you tried to uninstall the drivers completely?

• I suddenly have problems with CS5 to export a Mac.app projector.

  Everything I'm doing is changing text on a file I exported as a projector Mac before and worked fine. The application launches another swf with load movie. The newly exported application does not overwrite the previous one - first suspicion that something was wrong. I deleted the old copy, then a new has been exported. However, when I try to run it on the new Mac OSX I get an error due to a damaged file so that the application can not be opened. It opens on an older Mac OSX. Strangely the same app that has been exported about 4 months ago works fine on the new Mac OS, so I just use that for now. I tried to reinstall Flash (I'm working on windows) during the previous installation. This has not fixed it. I also saw a few other concerns of older files are not replaced on the export and a clip that simply would not work correctly when that one bit of the text has been changed in the code. What can I do? Should I delete completely first Flash? I couldn't see a way in window 7 to uninstall Flash CS5. The windows projector works that I exported also works very well.

  Update on that. I found in another thread how to do a clean uninstall. I reinstalled Flash this time it wasn't a list of errors as when I installed on top of the existing program. But the problem is still there. I did a small test file in case the original file has been damaged. If I export the mac app I that the file was damaged only on the latest OS. This occurs when the file is unpacked on a Mac. I need to be able to export Mac projectors. Why it doesn't work anymore? Previous Projectors that I exported work on the newer operating system.

• Problem with Vista 64-bit update, windows

  There are several optional updates "available," according to the update of Windows.  However, I'm not able to click (left or right) to select one of them.  Only if I select the box "all" upwards by securities (to the left of the name) it works, but then it checks ALL updates, including all 34 languages in option I want.

  I had to interrupt updates yesterday (it is a new system with Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit) because of the length of time that it took, so several updates in the history to show that 'failed '.  I wonder if what has created the problem that I have now?

  My first suggestion would be to use system restore to restore your computer to an hour before the beginning of the question.
  Maybe before the updates were interrupted.

• Problem with CS5 to crash during the insertion or deletion of page

  I have a legacy file (teaching manual) which was created in CS2 and has been edited and updated over the past two years with no problems. The file is about 360 pages, with about 30 illustrations, table of contents and index larger size. During the updating of the material today, I went back to insert a page because the text to overflow and InDesign crashed. This happens whenever I try to insert or delete a single page. I can insert a single page on the pages i to viii, but when I try to insert a page in InDesign Sec2:1 early crashes. I can open and close the file, and edit anywhere without any problem.

  If I insert 2 pages at a time, it works fine and I can run the text on the page. But when I delete the extra page that I don't need, it crashes. It doesn't seem to be specific to any specific master page in the file. I tried several times to export to an IDML file, reopen and save it in an InDesign file, but the same problem occurs.

  The same thing with the file on the same verson InDesign which is on my laptop. This problem does not occur with other InDesign files that I've created in the past. I need help. Thank you!

  I just thought some about this, so I'm glad you popped up again.

  Seems to me you have two choices, go back to the previous version which works and re-do much editing or try to fix later. If you want to go back, open the file and check the bey in the history of file holding the CTRL key while you choose about InDesign from the menu help. You will see the full backup history in the lower left corner of the dialog box. I check for the latest version, that it has been saved, then open the file in this version and export into .inx (in CS4 or earlier) or .idml .idml for CS5 or later, and then open the .idml in CS5 and save as a new .indd and proceed.

  The existing file, you can divide and conquer stuff, but like I said, I thought instead, and in your shoes I would probably ignore the first step and try to export to text marked for each story, and then build a new doc by placing the tagged text. If it seems to be OK, place the images again and go ahead.

  Whatever it is, I think you have some heavy lifting.

  We have been confronted with questions when Curl libraries have been used to create libraries of NetAccessor (shown highlighted below)

  Net accessor is used to access network resources (we don't use in our project). Thus, the command line to create BDB pots had to be modified, in order to avoid the creation of libraries NetAccessor.

  By Xerces documentation, we also used the -with-xerces-conf = ""-disable-network ' argument to build bdb jars. "

  It worked after that.

  It addressed again probably not the root cause. We can live another day for now.

  My problem is that I m install windows server 2003 32-bit on a machine. the machine can also support 64-bit so after installation of 32-bit windows server 2003, I install VM workstation and then, on that, I have install windows server 2008 r2 64-bit but it gives an error... now I know logically, we cannot run 64-bit OS on 32-bit host os STRP, but I wanted to make sure. so is it true?

  What CPU do you run?  See below for the supported Intel CPU. If you host OS doesn't support VT, you will not be invited running 64-bit.

• Problem with cs5 Adobe Application Manager/Updater

  I just installed my Premium CS5 on my new (bought used) macbook pro after a clean installed (OSX 10.8.5)

  All programs works fine but the Manger Aplication say there are updates to update for all programs while I open it and and start updates

• Problem with W2008 64-bit

  Hi, I use VMware Server 2.0.0 Build 122589 on WinXPsp3.

  Thus, I am able to select and install Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (64-bit).

  But if I try to install the VMware Tools - I get the following error message:

  -VMWare Tools is not supported on this operating system?

  I did not understand why I choose W2008 64 bit while installing a new virtual machine, but then the system tells me "Guest OS not supported"?

  What can I do else? With the help of VMware esx-Server tools?

• Voice off problem with CS5

  A Creative Sounblaster/front rear inputs-drivers updated

  Used head set with microphone; Koss simple mic and rode ntg - 2; went to a set of equipment and the audio preference there for creative-it doen't want to the other entry.

  The audio 1 line - best I can do is to get a small audio audio green line 1 and master. I am mode audio mixer. I went to the control panel and identified the micro as well as see the audio up/down transition. This does not, audio output / in in Prem pro. Unfortunately, I'm stuck and need help.

  Note: Have 2 t (7200) on c and other readers. I7 and 12 GB of ram.

  I don't have Adobe Audition but will look into it as well. Just a tip, I didn't there's an extra step that I never knew. In preferences/hardware, I needed activate the asio section which opens another box. Once I mentioned at the mic I used, no problem. The problem has been resolved by my nephew in 5 minutes. Well, you learn something new every day. Thanks for your comments.
