.. .hmm statement very interesting but according to her simple nonsense.

First of all every part is covered by the warranty s notebook. Standard warranty covers material for the first month issues 12. Of course, it is possible to extend this warranty

In case the material part will begin a malfunction within this period, the part will be replaced in the warranty conditions. Otherwise if your warranty isn't valid more and you will pay for the replacement of equipment.

In my opinion, the material must be checked properly to get information what part is malfunctioning.
Maybe it s just a defect of operation of the keyboard or in the worst case, the motherboard
It is difficult to say what's wrong so far in the part was checked.

In case the external keyboard still works correctly, the card mother isn t touched and the new keyboard should solve the problem.

  • Windows vista problems install keyboard and mouse

I try to install windows vista ultimate on a new amd system I've built recently. The windows vista screen Boot starts well, but I can't go further with the installation because the keyboard and the mouse do not work.

To solve the problem, I booted up with a Linux distribution and I can use the keyboard and mouse and everything works fine. Initially, I bought vista using boot camp on my Mac and the keyboard and mouse work well with vista on this configuration.
I want to upgrade to windows 8 thereafter, but I might need to buy the whole program, rather than the update if I can't do vista works. I don't want to spend money if I can't because I'm broke. Any suggestions?

Parameters of the BIOS of some computers have a setting "Enable USB Legacy" to allow the keyboard to work without Windows running.

If you have PS/2 ports buy an adapter or a PS/2 keyboard. Most USB keyboards can be connected to a PS/2 port using a USB to PS/2 adapter.

  • Keyboard and mouse not working not not after resetting Windows 10

I have a Dell Inspiron 530 on win 7 now upgraded to win10 1 to August 15. All good until a few days ago, when my wireless keyboard and mouse began paying up, keys not giving the correct characters or symbols. I found a site that offers to win 10, that I did a reset and now I have a PC that looks perfect on the monitor, but not on keyboard. I can't control or use the PC. I plugged my old KB & mouse USB but still no controls in Windows, I tried searching the keyboard and USB settings in the BIOS but can only find switches to change the speed high or low speed USB, tried two and no change. I can't find any advanced settings.

I tried to find a way to get into safe mode to make changes, but I can't find how to do this without KB or mouse.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

This could be due to problem of incompatibility with the keyboard and mouse drivers. I suggest you use another computer and download the latest compatible keyboard/mouse drivers with the latest operating system (Windows 8.1 is). Download the drivers in the flash player and then install the same drivers in Windows 10 machine and check.

If the problem persists, install the same driver in compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows.

    a. do the driver installation file right click and select Properties and then tap or click on the compatibility tab.

    b. check in the run this program in compatibility mode for: box.

    c. press or click the menu drop down and select a previous operating system, and then tap or click OK.

    d. try to install the driver and verify.

Please refer to: make programs more compatible with this version of Windows (information is good for Windows 10 institutions)

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

  • keyboard and mouse not working not properly after installing Windows 8.1

I was forced to upgrade my computer to Windows 8.1. My keyboard worked fine until the system is restarted. Numbers on the keyboard stopped typing and letters were capitalized when the caps lock was turned off and the numbers at the top will only type the symbol above the numbers.

I looked at this problem and it seems that I have to enter in the settings of the UEFI and disable the Intel XHCI mode. When I enter the settings of UEFI, I can't make any selection in the start menu. My keyboard and mouse stop working.

    Any suggestions?

Thanks for posting a reply. Fortunately, I didn't have to try your solution because the computer solve itself.

  • Audio distortion with keyboard and mouse

Recently bought an Acer TC-605 from best buy.  He spent a few days in downloading and installing the latest windows updates.  When I start it first using the computer, I'd work on something in ms office and listening to itunes at the same time.  Audio would sound perfect while perhaps 15 to 30 minutes, then skew thereafter, whenever I moved the mouse or use the keyboard.  Tried to update all the drivers, but did not.  However, when I remove the mouse usb cable and reinstall the problem disappears.  But 15 to 30 minutes later, problem comes back again.  It would be a bit embarrassing to reinsert the usb mouse taken every half hour.  Purchase and installation of a pci usb card will fix the problem?  I think that maybe my onboard usb ports must be bad.  Or is the problem with something else?

    Hi there migmartinez,

Looks like you are looking to save your keyboard and bluetooth mouse battery by turning off your computer. You can turn off your mouse with the button on the bottom. When you turn back automatically re - will pair with your computer:

  • No response from the keyboard and mouse to the Windows logon.

Hello, I had this problem a while but a restore fixed it, and of course it happened recently that I want to challenge results.
Basically, my mouse and my keyboard do not respond before Windows logon.
Opening height of session does not either.
The keyboard and mouse seem to work if I go into the conservation program (ESC key at startup and F11).

I'm running Windows 7 on an HPG60 laptop 64-bit with 3 GB of RAM.
Processor: Intel (r) Celeron (r) CPU
    900 to 2.20 GHz 2.19 Ghz

My mouse is actually a touchpad - Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad.

I need help as SOON as possible so that I can get back to work.

This is equivalent to the old rule of iron of computing: If you have important files on your PC, then you need to back up an external medium regularly. Problem request not do or wait until you have a major problem. Fortunately, Windows 7 gives you a loop hole. Here's how it works:
    1. get a disk external 2.5 "in a USB case.
    2. connect it to the PC.
    3. set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    4. start the computer with the Windows 7 repair CD or with your Windows 7 installation DVD.
    5. press a button if you are prompted to start from the DVD.
    6. When prompted, select "Safe Mode Command Prompt".
    7. connect as administrator if you are prompted.
    8. Select repair when prompted.
    9. Select command prompt.
    10. save your files or folders on the external USB drive (or a flash drive).
If you are not familiar with the commands of copy in the command line environment, ask a friend gifted in computer science to help you.

After solving the problem of keyboard and mouse, do you a favor and use the USB disk as backup media. On a regular basis.
