Problems with still images

Hi all!

Since upgrading to FCP 10.2.3, 80% of my images still in the movies and work, the other 20% weird color lines to this topic, see the image below.

I tried to re - register and again add the media to the event, etc. and also deleted the files generated rendering library that did nothing.

Thank you

This means that your gpu is unable to manage these photos. Try to use the smallest size photos if possible. If you don't need to zoom in on them there is no need to use photos that are much larger than the size of the image. Tell us your details specific mac and os and fcpx version.

  • Problems with stills...

    I notice a problem with stills in 5.0.3. I have a few projects underway right now who are all still images, and every once and a while body confuses the image files.

    Example - I've got 2 images... one called mirror.jpeg and the other mirror3.jpeg. Mirror.jpeg thumbnail is correct, and I can play the image on the fine timeline. But when I try and use mirror3.jpeg, it comes up with the thumbnail for mirror.jpeg (different image) and if I double click on it in the sandbox, the false image (mirror.jpeg) opens in the source monitor, and if I drag the on the timeline... you guessed it - fake image.

    Now, if I mirror3.jpeg right click and choose Edit in Photoshop, the correct image opens up there.

    Anyone else seen these behaviors?

    example.jpg

    Eric,

    A test, you can Mirror3.JPEG open in PS and do a Save_As with a completely different name, see Face_03.JPEG? Then import this new image saved in PrPro, replace Mirror3.JPEG. The correct thumbnail is displayed now, and play the good image in the Timeline.

    Good luck

  • How to work with still Images in first items 10

    I am faced with still images in my titles for my video project and would be really grateful for the help. I did a lot of searching on Google on this and searched this forum, but can't seem to find the answer I need, maybe not to seek the right questions or all just "don't get it".  Not even PE Adobe tips or Adobe TV covers, although it seems important to know. I don't understand how PE10 will manage the resolution of graphics from Photoshop or any fixed image. Maybe this topic will also contribute to other institutions.

    I'm working on a video project for my work, editing an old training video. New title graphics created in Photoshop, inserted images of title integrated with video clips, then exported the video segments in the form of MPEG files.  I burned the entire video on DVD.

    When the final DVD play on a computer or a television screen, the images of photo in the titles are unclear, although they were clearly 300 dpi images. (I know dpi is not serious in the video). The text of the title is also a little fuzzy and the text of the title which has applied animation to it is still more unclear. Yet, old video clips MPEG look good - it's just my title images and texts that have (annoying) look bad.

    So I need to know how to improve the quality of the images/graphics even a video?

    Project settings:

    -Hard drive, Standard 48 kHz

    -Editing mode: DV NTSC

    -Frame: 720 x 480 (0.9091)

    -Frame rate: 29.97 FPS

    -with "optimize images" box checked

    Using these settings because I work with an old training video CD MPEG files.

    Exporting files: MPEG, NTSC DVD Standard

    I export as MPEG video clips because they will be burned on a CD or a DVD for distribution to our management offices.

    Job details:

    In Photoshop, I still created graphic images for each title of format 720 x 480 with high resolution photos and logo of the company (300 dpi) and save as a bitmap for import into PE10.  In the timeline panel, I insert the fixed image on the track "Vidéo 1", and then in the video track 2 create a top for the text title (some animated, some still). Sometimes I have the battery 2 or tracks of three titles with separate video text on an image fixed title. Yes, there is a red line on the top in the timeline because I do not still images.

    Issues related to the:

    • What is the best resolution for images imported into PE10 of Photoshop?

    • Do I create title graphics/images to 720 x 480 or higher like 1920 x 1080 report so it will show better seen on a computer or a TV?

    • Do I need to render each image title in the timeline panel so that it displays finally better in MPEG?

    • Is it better to create a title and then insert the image in the title so that they are integrated, rather than layers on separate video tracks?

    I would be very happy to help.

    Please keep in mind that DVD-video has been designed for CRT TVs, and was a major step upward to a VHS tape. However, when displayed on a HD or HD TV computer monitor *, it of always ONLY 720 x 480, with is about 1/4 of the resolution 1920 x 1080, which is what we're used to seeing on display devices. It is, but only 25% of the quality. He can never look as good as HD material.

    Good luck and if I missed something, please point out to me.

    * With the advent of BD players and players of DVD up-rezzing, things HAVE improved, watching a video DVD on an HDTV. New players have up-rezzing in chips, which do a very good job of "improving" the quality of the material considered. However, even with these amazing chips, DVD-video is NEVER as good as a full-HD source. In addition, the computers do not have these chips up-rezzing, so when contemplating a video DVD on a high-resolution computer monitor, it will still look pretty bad. There are a couple of new DVD players software, that allow to improve the quality of DVD-Video, played on a high-resolution computer monitor, and some look quite promising. I guess we'll see some more development in the region of DVD-video, especially since BD is not the seller basically promised a lot. Even in 3D is not helping BD fulfilling its promises.

  • Menu Spry, problems with background images in Internet Explorer

    Hello

    Looking for help from someone more qualified than me with some menus spry.  I have problems with background images don't show is not for some of my items menu in Internet Explorer.  Safari and firefox seem to accept it's ok.

    Here is a link to the menu: http://www.scottbrownwebdesign.com/beta/HTML/index.html

    and here is a link to the spry .css: http://www.scottbrownwebdesign.com/beta/HTML/SpryAssets/SpryMenuBarHorizontal.CSS

    I know that these are the elements that have the drop down or the side of the arrows.  I can't have two background images that I can?

    Thanks in advance,

    -Scott

    My first thought...

                         display: inline;          f\loat: left;          background: #FFF;

    Try declaring the background-image here as well... where it says not to mess with unless you know what you are doing.

    I'm just guessing though. If I had more time I'd look into it further but I do not.

  • Why Premiere Pro CC 2015 crash when you work with still images?

    I am in the phase of learning with first (edited on Sony Vegas for years) and I'm working on a test/learning the project using a mix of videos and photos of my family trips.

    Working with the video looks very good (although the thumbnails take forever to load for the still and video images and need to refresh every time that I re - open a bin). When I work with stills (jpgs in this case), PP CC 2015 crashes at various points. He fell down on a double click to add to the drafting of a subitem, when deleting a still in the chronology of the sequence, a trip as always on the scenario, when you open the tab effects, etc.

    I haven't done this experiment with video.

    Don't laugh, but I was hoping that my laptop Dell XPS (Core i7 4500U, Intel HD Graphics 4400, 8 GB of RAM) would have enough power to use first (a part of why I subscribed). I'm on Windows 10 and keeping the files I work with on my local hard disk solid state. I tried to solve the problem by updating and also reduce the graphics driver, but I'm not as much of a techie like many of you.

    Here is the log of the events since the last crash:

    Name of the failing application: Adobe first Pro.exe, version: 9.1.0.174, time stamp: 0x564dce25

    The failed module name: igdrcl64.dll, version: 10.18.15.4256, time stamp: 0x55a99b59

    Exception code: 0xc0000005

    Thanks in advance for any help...

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

    The photos you are editing are really big? How many RAM GPU you have? I assume you are using GPU acceleration (found in the project settings); If you do software only made you still a fall?

  • Problem with still DVD CS6. Cancellation writing disc

    Hello. I need help - I have a problem with Encore DVD CS6. When the DVD disc is written the end of the process program cancel displays this text: "Still could not complete the operation due to an error in hardwar (detection code 40902)" it is in mac os. In windows, the problem is the same but the detection code is 300200. What is it?   Disk space is sufficient.

    As a test, generate an image rather than burn them to a disc.

    Sense errors are usually, but not always material.

    You use the same drive (external?)? Are you using the same disks? (Sense code errors can be disks.)

    Many of us don't burn ever with still, using ImgBurn for PC or for Mac toast.

    When you click on a photo, I right click to edit, a zoomed image in appears, about one-eighth of the original image. How can I reduce the zoom to show the complete image, also is ready for editing.

    Hi Pernboy,

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community Forums.

    According to the description, it seems that you are having problems with the retouching of images while zooming. I'll be happy to help you with this problem.

    (1) what application you use to change the images? (Viewer Windows or Microsoft Office Picture manager?

    In the meantime, I suggest you to press the Ctrl key and scroll the mouse down and check if it reduces the zoom to the desired level, if you change the pictures with zoom.

    I hope it helps. If you have any questions about Windows in the future, please let us know. We will be happy to help you.

  • sequence right and export of settings in Premiere Pro CS6, video with still images

    I am trying to run a video on my site (self hosted). This video, made with Premiere Pro CS6, consists of still images with different video effects.

    This video is just 50 seconds, but when I have this turn in the format mp4, webm and ogg, get large files and the quality is not good.

    Could you please guide me to find good sequence and export of settings in Premiere Pro CS6 to get a video for the best possible quality on the web?

    A precise description of the parameters would be great.

    Thank you

    Silvia

    To export, set the resolution that you want to use on the web.

    Make the sequence of parameters in a way to export these settings

  • Problems with the image after the rotation of the

    Hello world

    I'm turning my .png image using the ImageManipulator library. Current rotation works fine, BUT - my image with alpha background is rendered on a gray square instead of alpha channel. What should I do with my image? How to preserve this alpha channel after rotation?

    OK, finally I managed to solve it. For those who are facing the same bugs with alpha channel by using ImageManipulator, you must change the method ' private Sub paintTransformedBitmap (Graphics g, int textureOriginX, int textureOriginY)

    private void paintTransformedBitmap(Graphics g, int textureOriginX, int textureOriginY) {
            // Make the drawing space transparent first before painting
            g.setGlobalAlpha(getBackgroundAlpha());
            g.setBackgroundColor(getBackgroundColor());
            g.clear();
            g.setGlobalAlpha(255);
            /**
             * Keep the precision of our transformation and Scale the drawing as
             * well. Scale is applied as though a matrix of the form
             *
             *
             * | ScaleX  0     0|
             * | 0    ScaleY   0|
             * | 0       0     1|
             *
    * is multiplied by the Transformation matrix * / dux int = Fixed32.div (transformMatrix [UX], resultantScaleX); DVX int = Fixed32.div (transformMatrix [VX], resultantScaleY); Duy int = Fixed32.div (transformMatrix [UY], resultantScaleX); dvy int = Fixed32.div (transformMatrix [VY], resultantScaleY); Necessary for alpha changes with Graphics.Clear 6.0 / / g.setColor (Graphics.WHITE); g.drawFilledPath (bitmapXPts, bitmapYPts, null, null); g.drawTexturedPath (bitmapXPts, bitmapYPts, null, null, textureOriginX, textureOriginY, dux, dvx, duy, dvy, bitmap); }

    Notice the end of the method - setColor and drawFilledPath now commented and image appears.

  • Still problems with scrolling images...

    I thought it was supposed to be fixed in the latest version, but it still seems to "activate" a scroll frame until it is floating. Does anyone else know this?

    When do us release a new version that includes changes to the Viewer (which is, to be honest, each version) you must rebuild your application to get the new features/changes.

  • problem with scanning/image area for hp photosmart 2610 WIN XP

    Well well probably XP is half the problem since it is no longer supported... But I am havig problems scanning anything on my hp photosmart 2610. Area of the image go up and keeps telling me to insert my all in a disc and I evetually must use master to close the processes of HP. I tried everything to have HP on the phone (for 4 hours) and they could not uninstall and reinstall new drivers so not that I have two monitors of image digital hp running. Printing is not a problem but pulling to the top of photos and attempt at analysis of the new photos just do not work. I have the original disc of photosmart hp, but when I put it in my dvd player I get a message to put in an all in one disc I did not. I even downloaded the latest driver from HP and tried running that, but it does not say that it is alread installed... Should I just delete anything that has to do with my printet hp and then run the installation of new I removed the HP site? It makes me very nervous because I can print at least currently... If I delete everything and the installation fails, I can't live with printing capabilities. However, I want to be able to scan your photos of family, etc...

  • Problem with background Images and scrolling

    I had to face for a while to get background pictures are working properly. Here's what I do:

    VFM VerticalFieldManager = new VerticalFieldManager();

    Card of bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource ("MyImage.jpg");

    Background bg = BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground (map);

    vfm.setBackground (bg);

    This works, but has entrapment. First of all, he painted only as much as you have fields too much room, so I have to add empty fields just to occupy vertical space. However, on a page with something like a listField, where the height is variable, this can lead to what the background image are starting to repeat and to allow scrolling.

    What I want to do is to block all the scrolling and have the training exactly fill the screen with no scrolling or white empty places.

    I'll just on this wrong? Would really love to help...

    Hello

    Hope this will help you.

    class LoginScreen extends MainScreen {    //Manager        private VerticalFieldManager _manager;

        LoginScreen() {        //Set Background image            _manager = (VerticalFieldManager)getMainManager();            Background bg = BackgroundFactory.createBitmapBackground(Bitmap.getBitmapResource("back.png"));            _manager.setBackground(bg);

       }}

    Add this manageron your screen don't add any component in this handler.

    You add fields in the Manager of the other, and adds that the Manager on the screen.

    Let me know if this solves your problem or not.

  • Problem with the images of the opening of the Laibrary mode in lrm?

    When I try to open a picture from the library feature and click on the image, load logo lights up and it will take a few seconds for the image to appear.  What can I do for the image to appear instanetaneously without taking a few seconds to loaod.  Back, this has something to do with preview (standard) rendering?  If I hit the preview made under library function and then click rendering all standard previews will be the correct loading image problem. Note that I 52,00 images in my catalog. I tested it this morning and a few images will be open without loading and others will be open upwards and take 5 seconds or more. Whats tdhe solution?  Thank you!!

    The problem is in the library in the grid view module when I open a single image, some of them will load instantly and others will take several seconds to load up to 4 to 6 seconds or more. The develop module works very well. The sliders etc work ok. Thank you!

    It would have already been said above, but this is usually caused by the right size preview is only not available for images or preview being obsolete. In this case, Lightroom must return from the raw file image and who will have a few seconds, especially older hardware. You must also make sure that your standard preview size is large enough for the screen that you use. It is set in the catalog settings-> files management. In Lightroom 5, you must make sure that the standard preview size is greater than the longest dimension of your screen. In Lightroom 6/2015, the trick is to set the size of 'Auto '.
