  In IE11 turn off "Compatibility Mode for Intranet sites" fixed the problem, but it did not fix it in IE8. The behavior is always the same, as shown in the screenshot. I'll try to talk to my manager to see how upgrade them to IE11 if they want to use IE for this application instead of Firefox or Chrome.  In the case they enhance any idea what to look for in IE8?

  By 'technical management' is displayed as a link, I'm guessing that you have some kind of Malware or downloaded Junkware that infect your version of IE7. There is no link in the code, so it should not appear as a link in any version of any browser.

  You can run an anti-virus/malware program and see if it picks up anything.

  Are you sure you still want to support IE7?
