  Unfortunately, business machines such as Probooks or EliteBook have more strict security consumption patterns - they do not produce "stop codes", the password cannot be derived from the serial number and the code is stored in a nonvolatile memory to remove the RTC cell does not reset the password in this case.

  OK, so I have a problem of overheating with Qosmio G30-204. It seems that in the course of suspend the CPU temperature is high, I used SpeedFan to confirm this. EG + 70 degrees C after 5 minutes. 90 + degrees if left any longer!

  I bought my dad a HP Probook 4740 S nearly 2 years ago. I remember when I bought, the description says that Windows 8 but only Windows 7 preinstalled. Now, I would like to upgrade to win 8 but can not find the disc.

  I googled a bit, but unfortunately all resources referring to a Windows 8 media disc which I can't find.

  I find that a blue sticker says windows 8 at the back of the laptop, which let me think it may come with the right to move to 8 for free...

  Please let me know if there is a way to recover the product key / free upgrade to 8 with this laptop.

  Normally, it's on a white sticker on the bottom of the laptop.

  Remove the battery and look under there too.

  If you don't, then it will appear in the system information window in the BIOS.

If you want to go with the i7-5960 X, first can use all 8 cores. first is not able to go above 32 hearts (64 with hyper-threading), because of his programming software limits. 32 GB of memory should be plenty. If you are planning several other memory intensive programs open at the same time, you can go with 64 GB. the gtx x titan probably will not help that much, unless you do a lot of effects gpu & plugins and/or 4 k projects the ti-980 gtx is about 10-15% slower but much cheaper. the 970 gtx is a lot cheaper and would be fine with 1080 p projects and lite 4 k.
