  My MBP is overheating, slowing to a crawl, and I have to restart several times a day (which may or may not help the issue).

  The machine is:

  MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end of 2013)

  DDR3 4 GB 1600 MHz

  No expandable RAM (which is beyond me why they would make a non-expandable machine. I discovered after I bought it).

  I'm not game. I'm not streaming video. After a few hours of use, several times a day (often 2-4 times just one afternoon) the machine slows to a crawl and I reboot, which may or may not solve the problem of the speed and the heat.

  I ran the activity monitor utility, and there are applications that I do not sometimes recognize using 11 to 18% of CPU (bird and soangent). Anyone know what here?

  Bird and soagent are the normal processes of Apple. Bird is one of the procedures used with the synchronize documents iCloud. soagent is used in conjunction with the Messages. In normal circumstances or will require an excessive amount of time processor. If you use Messages with a Google or other account not Apple (in other words, not exclusively iCloud) poor performance could be correlated with these accounts.

  In any event 11-18% seems a bit much for me. Try to uninstall Evernote as well as all Google products. Or the other could possibly conflict with push social agent and / or document the Apple process synchronization. Google is disinterested or impossible to implement effective OS X apps.

  Try to remove all accounts non - Apple Messages, but also completely remove Google from your Mac. You can always reinstall it and Evernote once again after a repair. Your data Google and Evernote is stored on their servers. Back up your Mac in any case, as a precaution.

  Perhaps. "Comprehensive" is relative. Some people keep dozens or even hundreds of thousands of e-mail messages. The practical limits of some Mail are, I don't know.

  4 GB is perfectly adequate to run El Cap on a MBP of the retina. It would be premature to suspect material deficiencies, but products Google will introduce a new Mac, regardless of its configuration.

  Run Apple Hardware Test to confirm that your exhaust fan MBP works normally. Apple Hardware Test is for Macs produced before June 2013. Later Macs use Apple Diagnostics.

  I have a 4g player recently, I added a 8g microSD card in.   I use Windows media player to synchronize with my player.  I was able to add playlists on the external drive for some reason any.  The synchronization process synchronizes my songs playlist for the reader, but not the list itself.

  Anyone have this problem?  What is a Windows Media Player problem? Question of Sansa clip?  Any suggestions?

  You should not use mode auto-defaut... Select MTP or MSC, whatever suits your needs, but auto brings right on the confusion and frustration.

• Error on blackBerry Smartphones: Blackberry Desktop Manager has stopped working

  I use Desktop Manager 4.7.0.32 with a Blackberry Bold (9000); I sync with Outlook 2007 and I am running Windows Vista 64-bit Ultimate w / SP1. Synchronization worked well for many years with previous blackberries, but the synchronization problem appeared after a year or two of use with my previous camera curve.  I replaced the curve with the bold thinking which damaged equipment could be the problem (one too many drops).

  However, the problem persists.  While it seems I can synchronize with success a way (from PC to BB), Director of office falls down to halfway through synchronization of calendar entries in a synchronization two-way, unless there has been no new entry calendar on the BB. The error is an error generated windows inidcating: Blackberry Desktop Manager has stopped working.

  I tried every solution I could find on the web, namely:

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Desktop Manager, making sure that I run the installer as administrator.
  • My Blackberry wiping and reinstalling the operating system (I use 4.6.0.162)
  • Delete the Intellisync folder
  • Run scanpst on my Outlookpst file
  • Clear the entries of calendar on the Blackberry (temporary solution only)

  The latter is the only approach that has produced no results.  If I delete the entries on the Blackberry, the

  process synchronization adds them correctly, and the next time I run the synchronization, it works without a hitch.  As soon as I did all the entries on the BB unit however, Desktop Manager crashes again, and the only way I can make it work is to clear the entries on the Blackberry and start over.

  I'm several months and both handsets of BB has invested in this issue now.  I have a new fancy camera, but am recorded in writing of the appointments on paper when I am out of the office because I know they used to synchronize if I enter them at BB.  Type of defeated half the point of a blackberry...?

  Getting desperate here.  Help is appreciated.

  I had the same annoying problem that you guys have described here.
  After trough fishing a lot of post and forums I found a very surprising solution for another type of BB and a different version of the DM on XP and not Vista. Being desperate I tried and miraculously it worked!

  Start the DM BB and go - Syncronize - set - synchronisation - synchronization (button) - calendar - Advanced (button) - mapping fields (field mapping button) and I got rid of the synchronization between the flag "alarm" and the "free occupied" and the fields "invited".

  I did it and now everything works perfectly.

  I have a BB Bold, Vista Ultimate (32 bit), MSOffice 2007 (PRO) and a DMv4.7.

  I hope it will work for you also.

  I have set up a reverse proxy with OHS, set mainly in the "mod_wl_ohs.conf", and - as we also use encrypted connections - in a file 'ssl.conf '.

  The reverse proxy points to two different applications, each of which has a root context and are hosted on weblogic servers. Two applications are available via the reverse proxy.

  But the two application also want and need to put a cookie "JSESSIONID" name and path "/".

  We have a use case in which jump between the two applications in the same browser window, because an application charge of it in an iFrame.

  In this case cookies overwrite each other, we want to avoid.

  I want the reverse proxy to rewrite the path in the Set-Cookie header for each application. The application should not know and who care. That is why the reverse proxy must manage cookies completely.

  Change the name of the cookie and/or the path in the application is NOT an option unfortunately.

  When I take a glance to permit guidelines in mod_wl_ohs, I can't find anything regarding the path in the rewrite Set-Cookie header.
  But I know that there is the Apache ProxyPassReverseCookiePathdirective.

  Unfortunately it is unclear if I insert it somewhere in the mod_wl_ohs configuration file. I also tried several combinations in the dist and httpd.conf file.

  So the question is:

  How to let the reverse proxy rewrite the path in the Set-Cookie header, while using mod_wl_ohs?

• PowerCLI parallel commands

  Hi guys,.

  I'm not quit sure how to handle.   I'm trying to connect to esxi hosts to sync away from the virtual computer in suspend mode.  Which works very well.

  But he does just 1 in an hour and not in parallel.

  I'm not sure how I have to change the code that processes synchronization for each virtual machine at the same time. I found info on "Foreach-parallel" but it gives me an error that the workflow is missing.

  any ideas?

  My Palm Tungsten E was unused for a month and the battery ran out completely.  After recharging it, I tried on the desktop, but the restore DxtgTempDB locked process synchronization.  I tried a hard reset but syncing still hangs on DxtgTempDB.  How to do this?

  What you need to do is to do a Hard Reset and reinstall all the files individually. Go and change the name of your folder to backup something like "Old backup", then do your hard reset to set E to him is the original format. • Why not show the photos imported into Lightroom?

  I imported a file of about 170 photos in lightroom using the same process I used for a month.  the files are a combination of canon .cr2 files and corresponding .jpg files that go with the .cr2s.

  After the import is complete lightroom showed zero pictures in this folder.  I immediately took panic and double checked that all files really did not exist in the folder via windows Explorer.

  However, if I go back and try to re-importation of the import function files shows all files as having been previously imported.

  I tried the process "synchronize the folder" and it shows first as '170' files to import, but after the full synchronization function it shows 0 files processed.

  Any ideas why lightroom refuses to show this particular group of files?

  I suspect it's something either really easy or the library on my system is messed up because of corruption.

  If the library is messed up how can I do to rebuild.  These photos are critical for me because they are shooting at the head of an actress.

  Here is my proposal... you imported photos with the copy option, and if your Windows Explorer thinks that they are in the Outbox folder (so you think), and Lightroom they think in case Z, where the photos have been copied.

  So... in Lightroom, if you si vous pouvez pouvez go to catalog the left panel, click on all photos, find one of these photos of 170 critical and do a right click on it then go to the folder in the library. This will tell you where Lightroom think that pictures are found. From there, you can work with photos, or update their folder location A (where you think they should be). If it works and that's what you want, writing back and we will advice you and others.

  If your library iTunes music fits on the storage space of 160 GB of your iPod classic, you just set to automatically sync your entire library of music.  Then, it won't matter which has been removed and which do not get deleted, because your iPod music library is the same as your library iTunes music.  And iTunes it keeps this way, every time your iPod connection (or click sync , if already connected).

  If you don't want "everything" in your iTunes library on your iPod (understandable), you can create a playlist in your iTunes library with all the songs you want on the iPod.  Then, set to automatically synchronize the playlist to iPod.  Instead of manually managing iPod, you manually manage playlist in your iTunes library.  The iPod has no need to be connected.  The next time you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected), iTunes will update the iPod with the same changes.  The big advantage is, if something happens like what you describe, or needs to restore iPod (erased) or even if break you your iPod (and get a new), need you a few mouse clicks to solve the problem.  Just set it up to sync the same playlist once again, which exists in your library iTunes (not only on the iPod).

  It is understandable and easy enough to do.  Just open your PC settings and go to the section "your synchronization settings '.  There is power on/off switches for all the different things that you can choose to synchronize.  Just turn off the ones you don't want.  Or you can just disable them all at once at the top.
