  I have a question about the choice of colours in the new window shade of color. I think I understand the difference between spot and process colors, but the menu options drop-down confuse me because if I choose the Spot or process in the color Type drop-down list, the same libraries listed in the color Mode drop-down list. How it works, or why that happens? What is a conversion? By example, if I click on treat as the color Type, but then choose Pantone Solid Coated color mode, it shows me the colors available, but are not the spot color Pantone libraries? And if I chose the Spot as the color Type, but then choose CMYK color mode, it gives the CMYK sliders. But shouldn't I be forced to choose from a library of Pantone for a spot color? I would appreciate any explanation of what I want to make sure that I choose colors appropriate for my print projects. Thank you!

  You can create a spot color with a personalized mix of CMYK (and even it the same name as a color library if you want). The utility here is that you can create a custom spot with a conversion of customized process color or use your own numbers of conversion for a color book if you think you have a better mix. I recently had to do a special mix for conversion Pantone spot to fit a particular press in order to get a better match for the other materials. This is how we have treated, well I did by the folding of the swatches pantone for my custom and then point to change that to treat in the ink Manager, rather than playing with the color of the library directly, which meant that I could have the custom or book value, according to the settings I chose If the job went to another, press.

  There are, I think, four sets of libraries of process included in the code.   I just bought printer HP psc 1110 and despite I loaded the print from the HP website driver and together it up correctly, it has new ink cartridges, it does not print color to color text pages when I use the the keyboard F12 shortcut key to show.  I have the microsoft intelli wireless keyboard.  Although that it prints very well in color while I use the method of dialogue of the system either by pressing "Ctrl + Shift + P" keys together.   I have another canon printer canon pixma 1500 a former model, even this canon allows to print in color using one of the methods above to print.  I'm curious to know why HP is behaving as it is with me.  Can someone knowledgeable enough to enlighten us on this issue and help me on this problem, please.  I would be grateful if someone can send me a response.

  I often import InDesign files into other InDesign files and find it very useful for my workflow. Often it is a file that acts like a piece of the library that is used in the other files and I love being able to just change it and automatically update the other files.

  However I just came up with a work that is CMYK + spot and spot colors are not preserved import - they seem to import as CMYK. Can I export a PDF file and do it this way, but I prefer to skip the intermediate step.

  Have you checked? It really looks like that process tasks is enabled in the file of reception, but I expect that to affect the PDF as well.

  Try disabling the startup of Windows 10 hybrid - you can do the following.

  Open settings and select System.  Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.

  In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close windows open and stop the laptop by right clicking on the icon in Start Menu, select (Admin) command prompt and click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

  Type (or copy and paste) the following command (including spaces) and click Enter.

  Shutdown /s /t 0

  Start the laptop and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking if it is now shut down properly in the Start Menu.

  If this has fixed the problem, it may be useful by turning the quick start back on - sometimes simply remove and re-create the file will solve the problem.
