  You already have the best processor that can fit on your motherboard which is an AMD version. Theoretically, you can go with a card mother Intel and processor, but that would cost a lot of money (more than a new laptop) and give only slightly better graphics. not yet for the games. To be explicit, the graphics 'card' are not a card, but a single chip directly soldered on the motherboard and cannot be removed, replaced, improved or anything of the sort.

  The slightly good news is that you can install up to 8 GB of memory... is the DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM. That will boost the overall performance, but still not make a game by a long shot machine.

  You can use the DDR2 667 MHz (PC2-5300) or 533 MHz 200 - PIN SODIMM modules.

  Usually it s not advised to replace/upgrade of the processor because the BIOS has not been tested with other processors

  Much depends on what the 'it', is that you have bought from your friend. If it's a computer with a retail version of Windows 7 64-bit, collect any proof of purchase of your friend or you have to the Win 7 retail and contact the team of complementary pieces of Microsoft.   I suggest you to check if the "Windows Management Instrumentation" service is running as set as Automatic.

  Please follow these steps:

  a. press Windows + R key, type services.msc in the immediate window and press ENTER.
  b. right click on "Windows Management Instrumentation" and click Properties.
  c. make sure that the service status is running and Startup type is automatic.
  d. If not, select the Startup type to Automatic and click on 'Start'.
  e. click apply and ok.

  I can't tell you for sure 100% that they will fail, because I don't have your laptop, and I never tried to install one of these processors inside.

  The said service manual they will work, is all I can say.

  You should check the support of your laptop and driver page and read the BIOS download notes version of the files to see if you need to update the BIOS before installing one of the processors exposed.

  Generally, this problem is caused because of the threats of viruses or malware. I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it works for you.

  Method 1:

  Run Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if it detects a virus threats on your computer.

  As it is already been said we are not talking about not being able to use a resource at all, it's all a balanced host.

  In your example would work all the processors of a decision-making system of the Quad Core 4 with 1 GB of ram... maybe 0.8% of the potential... given that with 1 GB of memory you will no more or less support one or two virtual machines if you're lucky...  The amount of RAM you need is a function of the flow rate of the subsystem CPU is capable of... otherwise it's a waste of money (although VRP Intel/AMD would be happy to help you in such a scenario).

  the 4 GB by heart that I mention me on average workloads, allows you to have a balanced system.
