    Hi Marko,

Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum. Welcome!

Sorry for the problem you are experiencing.

This blue screen is called BSOD - Windows self-protection function sort. If you received a blue error screen, or a stop code, the computer stopped abruptly to protect against data loss. A hardware device, its driver or software might have caused this error. What you describe could be incompatible with the Windows driver (more often) or because of material issue (rarely).

According to your description, I understand that when you use Windows 10 on the same device there is no BSOD, but when you use Windows 7, the BSOD occurs regularly. But you do not want to use Windows 10 and prefer Windows 7.

If this is the case, I suggest you uninstall all software 3rd party (such as antivirus/security programs, for example) and also to update all your drivers using HP Support Assistant - this is a useful free tool from HP. Here's how:

    > > http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03467905

The foregoing is done to eliminate the risk of bad 3rd party software driver and update all the drivers to make sure there are no defects known in older versions.

Let me know if it helps.

  • blue screen without interruption of the second processor

After installing the update of definition for Windows Defender - KB915597 (definition 1.99.567.0) I started having a blue screen saying a clock interrupt was not received second processor. What should do?

Hmm, yer this is true AM2 is quite obsolete. Although some motherboards can support AM3 with an update of the BIOS.

Probably better to get AM3 if you want AMD. BUT you may also get different ram so

  • Motherboard and processor swap yeilds BSOD (blue screen error) in all modes.

Two and 1/2 years, I'm building my own computer using an OEM of Windows Vista disk.

Over the few months that I replaced the card motherboard and CPU on my computer at the main house, this dual boots Linux Ubuntu and Windows Vista.  It was working fine until recently.  The folks at EVGA set to day the jury after the first replacement fizzled when the machine starts up the second time.  I've since upgraded to a new modular power supply and a new processor Intel Quad (Q9300).

Running this configuration I can't log on to windows using my main hard drive, a 500 G SATA.  I am able to choose Safe mode, safe mode with network... etc, but no matter what selection I make results in a brief flash of the BSOD, then my computer restarts. I got to the video screen to read as follows

"A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.  If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer.  If this screen appears again, follow these steps.  Check for viruses on your computer.  Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers.  Check your hard drive to ensure that it is properly configured and completed.  Run CHDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.  "Technical information: * STOP: 0x00.

I have virus scanned the disc with two calls from home via Windows Vista and ClamTK via Linux Ubuntu 10.04.  I tried with just the main hard drive connected and the connected IDE as well.  The hard drive seems to be connected correctly and has no problem running Ubuntu Linux in a dual-boot configuration.

I ran CHDSK several once... no problems with SATA cable or he analyzes with a USB adapter with my laptop also on Windows Vista.  I was able to load Windows Vista on a separate hard drive (a former IDE 160 G) and ran from the disk check a couple different time to boot from the installation CD and the 160 g, after 6 scans, no problems were detected.

Yesterday I woke up upward and instead of my computer up-to-date 87 or so updates to build one of the service packs, I was greeted with a copyright message, "an error has occurred.  You can also contact Microsoft by phone to help solve the problem.  «Code: 0xc004e002 Description: the software licensing service reported that the license above store contains inconsistent data.»

I saved all the information in dual boot drive of 500G, it was always perfectly accessible and I used DBAN (of derrick boot and nuke) to refresh the smallest 160G hard drive.  I have reinstalled windows vista and ran the first 80 some updates and refused permission to check my license number.  The 160G hard drive starts and works fine... but it reassures me that I have to present once again the license number.  How can I get a different result than the blue screen of death or violation of copyright?

If she gave you this code you shouldn't have a problem.

Once Windows is activated, you can start one of these utlities to document the product key.

  • I get the blue screen in the LR development mode, even though I have updated the driver for the graphics card on this new laptop. It's an AMD Radeon R5 M335 4 GB memory DDR3, core i7 6th gen processor. What should do?

Hi guys, I get the blue screen in the LR development mode, even though I have updated the driver for the graphics card on this new laptop. It's an AMD Radeon R5 M335 4 GB memory DDR3, core i7 6th gen processor. What should do? Thank you

This Eizo has a normal resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. I expect not to see a lot of benefits of using the GPU. You really see the advantage to screens that are at least 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) or more. On small screens, you can see some benefits with smoother updates if you ONLY use the base sliders to develop. If you use brushes, turning on the GPU can actually slow you down a bit. In most cases, loading images in develop is also slower when you activated! There are a few illustrative notes to an engineer from Adobe that you can read here: notes for Lightroom CC GPU (2015) in order to better understand what is happening. Currently, in most cases, I recommend leaving off the coast. I think that Adobe is trying to improve and have more cards supported, but it is not yet completely there.

    Hello

Nothing but the production that really puts the problem.

Use ANY of the methods below and in the next message. Update the BIOS, chipset drivers, and
the major embedded and separate main device drivers and carefully check the memory.
After ALL, these if necessary execute DriverVerifier to see if it can indicate a CAUSE.

  • Satellite A215-S4757 blue screen & startup failure after HARD drive partitioning

I just bought a Satellite A215-S4757 a week ago & I tried to divide my hard drive coz, I was only one partion (250 GB) using acronis disk director.

After that I got the blue screen and now I failed to start and I tried all the options to repair my windows or load in SafeMode to no avail coz it crashes just from the window of microsoft corporation.

I tried to reinstall windows vista with the cd but still does not!
    pls someone helo me :(

    Hello

Creator of disc of Acronis does not for me but I know for sure that you can split the capacity of the HARD drive into two partitions with rendering recovery DVDs. Start your laptop with recovery DVDs and check the option to install it.

You must have a mobile US model. I am from Europe and I don't know about you how it works with the recovery media in the United States, but it should be similar to the European and because of that it must be an option to divide the capacity of the HARD disk with two partitions.

Please try again. It should work somehow.

    -J' have a Toshiba Satellite M30X - 118 1/2 years
-J' have all updates MS new beginning of 19.07.05
-J' have uptodate Bios Toshiba to the 19.07.05
-J' have uptodate Norton Security 2004 beginning of 19.07.05
-J' have a WIFI router at home with WPA active

    MY PROBLEM:

Some communication over wlan makes Win XP go in the blue screen and reboot. I have the latest Toshiba WLAN driver for my laptop, but INTEL came up with a new. It is for a reason, not supported by my laptop and Intel did not inform me to install this.

This problem come when some of my installed software tries to update itself (for example, ADAWARE, LIMEWIRE (all communications makes this problem happens) and sometimes Firefox.)

IF I DISABLE the WPA ON MY ROUTER AND the laptop, the problem does NOT occur. Nothing happens if I connect directly to a LAN cable. But it's embarrassing and I want a wireless system.

If I use a USB WiFi 3Com adapter and disable the card wifi on board m, the problem only IS NOT present.

My gues is therefor it's the Centrino processor integrated and the Toshiba driver that is causing the problem.

Does anyone of you know a solution? A fix?

Help me and I will you a beer...

    Hello Sebastian

I have no proper explanation, but the problem is obviously a communication WLAN using WPA encryption. Try it please with WPE setting. I also put t know how to configure WLAN settings (windows or Intel customer), but in my opinion, you must use the Intel PROSet utility. A forum user has reported that it has no success with WPA encryption if the WIFI network is configured using windows option.

  • Skype causes Blue Screen of Death after a while in a call.

Hello, I am currently having a problem with my Skype where it will make my computer BSOD after a while in a call, it only occurs during Skype calls, not during other communications programs of voice as the voice of steam call and the blue screen is more likely to happen when I'm in Firefox.

The blue screen error I get is "clock interrupt was not receieved a secondary processor in the time interval allowed."

    Any help would be appreciated.

I did clean install applicable drivers and even tried to Exchange pieces of equipment (including the negotiation on an old CPU and RAM value) and no change.

Fortunately, a solution to the problem, which has been swicthing on Google Hangouts. They work much better because there is no decrease in performance, even streaming, has more features and does not cause a blue screen after a couple of hours.

  • Portege R100 - Random Blue Screen of Death (IRQL not less or equivalent)

    Hello

I've been making 'Blue Screen of Death' screens random in the last few weeks. The error is "IRQL not less or equal ' and it performs a memory dump each time. If I get the error and try to restart the phone after, I usually get the same screen of "Blue Screen of Death" when starting.

I have not installed new hardware lately. Last update about a year; upgrade memory. I tried to replace the RAM with a spare that I had and I was still getting the same error.
I have not installed new software in the last weeks, which would coincide with this error.

I am tracking the temperature of the processor and I'm higher than 48 degrees Celsius.
I'm not an expert, but I guess it's purely a hardware problem? As I rarely hear the CPU fan, I thought it might be overheating of the CPU.

But even after that make the CPU fan to operate at 100% using a free software called "Fan speed" I always got the same random screen of 'Blue Screen of Death'.

I would really appreciate any feedback and assistance. Really, I love my R100 and want to fix it.

    Select this option.

    Hey,.

    > If it's the memory controller can it be replaced?
No, you can only replace the motherboard together. The memory controller is a part of it and it of not possible to replace the memory controller only.

Theoretically, it could be the motherboard (memory controller) to malfunction if Memtest86 errors even you have replaced the RAM already.

But 100% sure answer you can get a service provider approved because they have professional diagnostic tools.
Then get in touch with the guy and ask for help. They can also order a new card of mother if she needs to be replaced.

    Hello

    There DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT mentioned.
Maybe the BSOD appears due to some problems with some Vista drivers.

It's really hard to say what's going wrong here.
Have you tried to recover the laptop to check if the BSOD would appear again
    Maybe you should do this.

  • Blue screen on Satellite C660

My plant C660 - blue screen with the error message... "a break of clock has not received on a secondary processor in the allotted time interval. I've updated the bios and all the main drivers othe and removed the software.

Any suggestions as to what could go wrong?

    Hello

I read a few threads, including this error message (clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor in the allotted time interval) and in all cases the CPU seems to be overclocked.

To be honest such procedure may damage the CPU and the laptop lose the warranty coverage, so it seems that the CPU is affected.
