professional digital photography

Maybe it's a stupid question, but someone direct me towards good sense...

I use Digital Photo Professional 4.1.5 Windows o/s.  I took a bunch of photos and saved RAW files separately from the JPeg.  How navigate you one directory, or a directory to its subdirectory with the DPP 4.1.5?

Thank you.

A small triangle, subject to midway up on the left edge of the window, open the navigation pane. Why must it be so discreet? Who knows? DPP V4, in particular graphical interface, is certainly a work in progress.

BTW, is there an option that claims to make the program open on the same folder where you finally closed. You don't need probably worth to try it; He has never worked for me. (It does not work in DPP V3, which is a bit less buggy and much more intuitive than V4.) "But V4 has a few useful features missing from V3).

I just got this printer in place and have no problem printing images downloaded from the web, but when I print pictures from my digital camera that have been saved to a network share they are saturated and look downright shoddy.  I found that there is a button named digital photography of real life that has options for automatic lighting Adaptive of the red-eye effect, picture brightening in the paper/quality, the printer properties tab, Smart focus, sharpness and softness.  If I turn these options off photos Print perfectly.  The problem is that they turn their back on after each print job.  I tried to turn them off when you are using the default printer, but it doesn't appear to.

How can I disable them for good?

HI - usually if you go to Panel and printers and change the settings there, rather than in the application you print from, settings will be preserved.

    Hope that helps.

  • Can I create a single app for android with the edition folio professional digital edition?

Hi, (sorry but I speak English a bit).

I would like to create my application with professional edition because I won't see it on Android too, but I need just a single folio app.

I'm not a multifolio Viewer, I need just a single updatable app that start directly from the icon withouth any other number.

    How can I do?

I see also that many functions are limited to android, is there news?

    Thank you very much

    You can not.

Even if the subscription app has only a folio in there, you must

Create it like that for Android. This requires a pro or a company

account and you will have to pay for downloads.

  • Why my raws look different when I view in Adobe Bridge/Adobe Camera Raw and digital P guns

    Hi all

I'm sorta new to take Raw photos and I have been using Adobe Bridge / Camera Raw to edit. When I take my photos (I use a Canon t2i) I set it to save a raw and jpg. When I find these images in Adobe Bridge / Camera Raw I notice a clear difference in the jpg and raw (I understand the concept behind raw vs jpg. If im not questioning why a different aspect) it is obvious all the adjustments that have been applied to my jpg. gross natural vs.  My question is: when I find the same two images in the software that came with my camera, professional digital photography canon, the canon and believed almost identical look... My hypothesis is that canon applies the same "adjustments" of my own as he did to jpg files?  Anyone using these two programs and noticed it work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Michelle

Canon software reads the camera in settings and those in the RAW file as the camera software, if applies so the RAW file should open looking like the JPG of the camera.  You can then make adjustments of this starting point.  Adobe and other third party software does not read all the camera in settings and apply instead a default set of conditions for the departure of starting point, which is why the initial image, you see when you open the RAW with Camera RAW file does not resemble the hearing in camera JPG.  Camera RAW's default camera profile is Adobe Standard, which is not the same as the profiles used by the camera.  Camera RAW has it for Canon 550 d camera profiles, which I believe is the same as the t2i.  Click on the camera Calibration tab in ACR (Adobe Camera RAW) and select the camera profile you selected in the camera (camera Standard, trusty camera, camera neutral, Protrait of camera or camera landscape) - all profiles listed are for the camera that took the photo.  This should give you a match much closer to what you get the camera if all other parameters of the camera are nominal values.  You can save a new default value of ACR and in future all images will be open initially using the new default values.

  • Professional Edition cost of digital edition

Can someone tell me the cost of publishing professional digital edition?

    Hi George,.

We no longer have an edition or "enterprise" edition product 'professional', there is only one called DPS which includes everything. You will need to contact our sales team for a quote. You can do this by going to http://www.adobe.com/go/dps/ and using the coordinates in the lower left of the page.

  • Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT photos are stored at 72 dpi and not 180 dpi. Can I change this?

When I download my photos taken with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT to my computer, I see they are listed as 72 dpi, but when I download pictures from my small pocket cameras Canon (like my Powershot S410 or ELP 300) they are listed as 180 dpi.  It is a function of the cameras, or is it a setting I can change on the rebels to store the photos at 180 dpi?

My second question is: it won't hurt the quality of the photo printed so I manually "resize" the dpi to 180 in a photo program before printing.   The vast majority of my photos are just stereotypes that I print 4 "x 6", but sometimes I get a good picture I like to enlarge. "

As you can see, I know very little about digital photography.  In the past, I have not even noticed that pictures of rebels were at 72 dpi and the others were to 180.

All the information that will inform me on this subject will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.    Mac

If you say that the printer to print a 4 x 6 proof it will not (in general) paid no attention to indications of DPI image.  All shots of my XSi are 72 dpi so I printed several pictures on a dozen different places throughout the city and the DPI setting in the image file is ignored in favor of the resolution of the printer and the size of the image.  In other words, if the printer only 300 DPI then my impression out to 300 DPI.  I've never seen a case where the printer used the DPI setting in the file.  I can't guarantee that it will not happen on some printers, somewhere.

But most people don't print that many images in that a lot of places so I suspect that if you are printing a single image at any place printing 'new' you can determine if it's going to go wrong or you can take the time to set the DPI setting on the image with your image editing software.  I'm not sure of what you use to edit your images, however, two following software packages allow you to adjust the DPI or print resolution:

IrfanView allows to change this setting: http://www.irfanview.com/

GIMP also allows you to modify: http://www.gimp.org/

  • Reinstall Win7 with Digital River iso and upgrade license?

I have a dell computer shipped with XP. A few years ago, I upgraded to win7 by buying a license to upgrade through the microsoft store.

They gave me the download link no longer works. I downloaded the full win7 Professional x 86 version of digital river, but I don't know if it will work.

Can I format my hard drive and reinstall win7 using the iso Digital River, my win7 upgrade license key and my xp license key?

As long as you have a license (product key) for Windows 7 Professional, Digital River download will work.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

First of all, let me start by saying that I am dangerous.  I drop money and then run, fail and run.  Due to circumstances, I'm not going to take pictures of all my own sale products at retail for the next months 2-3.  I can absolutely do.  But this is a night Mare.  I'm selling B2B (online auction sale), site of the retail (online) of the BTC.  I want to learn this on my own, I just think it's fun.  I can't put more money into what I already have.  I have a $200 Walmart camera Olympus (sorry), Adobe Light Room, Gimp and Photoshop.  I don't think I'll have time to do a "light box"...  While I care a lot of what my pictures look like, at the same time that it is temporary as the owner and ultimately work, if I take 100 pictures a winds always get more than acceptable.

I won't ever professional, even if I take courses free Open Source for learning about photography.  I did ebay very successful with a $100 camera and some google tools. This are not the catalogue shots nor am I responsible for them.  I don't want to insult people but the quality is important, but on a scale of 1 to 10 I'll take a 6 if I can spend a few minutes and put it in an 8, I'm happy.  I could use the terms bad and I don't want to insult anyone.ight

    Question here:
This happens often - yes I know the box light, lighting, better camera.  I can't. http://imgur.com/Bbhwp9c

GIMP/Photoshop & Lightroom...  How to minimize this effect?  I have about 400 products with similar packaging and it always happens.  I just reposition the flash take 100 photos of the same object and it is always superb.  So, my question is with the 3 tools I have y at - it a guide I should read, video or blog?  You have a 30 second tip?  Usually, when it's bad I scrap just the photo.  Allows to claim that flash wasn't that horrible.  I know that I can just remove. I'm looking to reduce as quickly as possible.  I have a pretty decent idea of the use of the camera from Wal-Mart, GIMP, Photoshop and Lightroom.  Be gentle please

I don't ask how to get the best shot.  I ask you to advice using three tools I have, how do I reduce my horrible, although photography skills a bit. Most is not that bad.  Everything you share will be 100% judged but for lightbox/lighting.  Products range in size from inches (centimeters) to feet (yards).  My wife would punch me if I went out and bought anything else...  Tips on how to use the suggestions of programs better or very widespread that I need not what anyone near quality magazine SEARS/Bestbuy.  If one day I do it.

It seems to me you want a tip on how to make photos of "beginner" professional appearance. Tip, you can't. You have an indicator what kind of camera you use. If you have the possibility of an external flash so that you can bounce the flash of a white card, or at least use a diffuser over the flash then you will just have to continue to take pictures and to reject those who do not. Each image can wait to be perfect. Use the vouchers, throw out the bad, take a few more, repeat the process. It's one of the beauties of digital photography. You can just keep shooting and only keep the good ones. It didn't cost an extra film or a transformation.

Growing up in Toronto, Canada, I remember the countless hours spent

stuck at National Geographic magazine, natural history books or watch

David Suzuki & quot; The Nature of Things & quot; on television. These days

I had every opportunity that I had to study and know the animals of all

I often find myself upward at dawn, knee-deep in mud or covered

in mosquitoes all in the pursuit to capture a glimpse of natures

  • Portege 2010: How to get more 2.2 MB/sec with SD card reader

Just out of curiosity: someone at - he managed to get more than 2.2 MB/sec sustained the respective rates of reading their SD cards?

Unfortunately, I have access to a card of 1 GB bytestor who performed relatively poor. Could be a performance improvement if you place the pagefile on this map (could be demanding STR around 6 to 10 MB/s, I guess).
    So, experiences?

    Hello

In my eyes software updates won't help you to improve the speed of read/write
The speed of the SD cards depends on the model of SD card.

For example the Secure Digital 133 x is a high speed version of our card designed for digital photography enthusiasts and pro-sumer.
It depends on speed of reading speed of 21 MB/s and writing of 15.5 MB/s

But the problem is that not all SD cards are compatible with the drive of the laptop.
Before that you will buy such card SD functionality verification
