  I immediately noticed on my BB Curve when it is plugged into the charger or hooked up to my computer, which changes the sound profile. It's frustrating because I don't know what is happening because this isn't my normal sound profile.

  If you are running OS v5.0 or better, you can do the following:

  I've tested this and even in vibrate mode, it always makes the sound.

  I installed a widget, to switch to vibrate to the sound mode and vice versa. After that, when I take a screenshot, I don't get the sound more. BOOM!

My question is when I go into the profiles of change from normal to vibrate, I then go ahead and deselect all custom profiles and exceptions that I created, I have to do an or y at - it an easy way to do this?  for example, when I select vibrate all is vibration. When I select vibrate now if I set up a profile for a contact, I still heard this contact instead of it vibrates.

  There isn't a way to change this. The Exceptions that you set apply to all profiles except for the OFF profile. You will need to uncheck each exception individually.

  I was delighted to see I can finally update my Bold 9700 to OS6 and did both.

  Unfortunately, I discovered all the preset alarm and original settings notification sounds are gone now, and most of them have been replaced by rather lame. Is it possible to retrieve or download the old sounds OS5 Bold 9700 from an official source (!)?

  I really wouldn't be forced to adapt to the new sounds and alarms.

  Genrally you cannot do much about these avatars, these things to update on the server, it may take time to reflect these changes.

  But still you can try reinstalling the BBM, which may help. If you are willing to do this, then all first make a backup of your BBM contacts (if you are using a version prior to BBM 7 then make a local backup)

  Then on your home screen to go to Options > Device Application Management > locate and remove BlackBerry Messenger from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

  After the reboot of your Explorer browser BlackBerry at www.blackberry.com/bbm and the most recent available for your device. After reinstalling see if that helps.

  You will need to talk to your mobile service provider. Some do not allow the BBs on their network without a complete BB data plan. Can additional you can have a generic data plan.

If the application requires a complete BB data plan, then it would be necessary.   Hi all, I was hoping someone could help me?

  I created a blackberry ID, but when I try to connect through blackberry app world, I get just stuck on a loading screen.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled the blackberry app world, I also have a different ID to see if I could connect from it, but still no joy.

  I tried the signature from a laptop instead of my phone and that works without problems, but when I try on the world of the app, I get the authentication screen, then a loading screen, but he remains stuck on this for hours unless I click the previous button, which I then the message «you must accept the terms and conditions to use this feature of blackberry app» , but I already DID. and even after having re-installed just to check, I still cannot connect.

  UPDATE!

  OK, so after nearly two months of research and no left and no answers of blackberry or my service provider, I finally found what I think maybe the problem for me.

  I live in a region where virtually no 3G reception, so I thought maybe it was my problem.

  So, I have linked to my aunts WiFi and hey presto, it let me connect AND let me accept the terms and conditions and download free apps, so maybe that will help someone, if you can get also a WIFI hotspot, or connect too your own internet wireless via your handset for BB, so try and access your account Blackberry ID and APP world.

  Once I had made and exception conditions, it let me access it from my laptop without connection to WIFI.

  Hope this helps you, I'm so happy that it finally works for me!

• BlackBerry Smartphones really stuck and need help guys!

  OK so here is my problem, my sister gave me her blackberry 9900 like shes got the new iphone.

  So heres where my problems began.

  I put my sim card from his cell phone and lit,

  Then around the top came the blackberry id so I clicked on logout and he says that, as the SIM card changed id to do a wipe, so he says type blackberry words to wipe it is what I did.

  So after where it says "Please wait while your device is to be wiped" or some thing in the lines, he went to a white screen and did nothing like 5 minutes so I decided to take out the battery and put it back in to see if it works, I pressed the power button and the word BlackBerry with blackberry sign came and the loading bar white bit at the bottom and after the white line at the bottom of loading had finished he went to a white screen, once again, only this time with a percentage of thing, when it hit 100% he exploded and reloaded at the part where once again the word blackberry and sign is there and the white line at the bottom of loading and now it moves not in this page , Well it does exactly is after completing loading (white line goes all the way to the top) it goes to a black screen and then did the same thing again and again the word line and white blackberry in the background load, and then he goes out and does the same thing over and over again.

  So I read a few messages from people and reading plug in to pc and charge Blackberry desktop manager what I did and it recognizes the phone but on the up coming Desktop Manager "blackberry desktop software can communicate with the device", I clicked on update, then repair but nothing happens just goes back to not to communicate with the phone while the phone is the same * beep * thing blackberry Word with the sign beside him, loading bar at the bottom will fill then restarts and does the same thing over and over again!

  Please help guys!
