    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s since the Partition of recovery in case of hard drive failure or System Crash, when you are running correctly.
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
  • His number disappointed + B500 USB device not recognized at startup
    Hello
    We have 2 B500
    whenever I'm starting, after loading windows they give me an error "USB device not recognized" I don't know what to do any help will be greatly appreciated as it is strange that both machines are giving the same error.
    also on one of the machines the sound does not work, I tried to get out of trouble, the diagnostic says the speakers are working properly, but not her out at all.
    I'm kind of disappointed by these questions, we always buy at Dell, but we thought we would give Lenovo a chance, the machines were barely a few months, when the problem started.
    advice please?
    That error usually comes up when a non bootable USB device is connected. Check the Bios and make sure that the CD drive and HARD drive are loading first. That should solve your problem. If this is not the case, make sure that you don't have any USB stick or disk external HARD connected until the PC load.
  • Profile of user does not write in c:\windows\temp
    Due to an update of Firefox, I damaged my user files.  I installed a new profile, the limited access, to surf. Now when I try to download programs or to run JAVA applications, I get an error message... "cannot write to c:\windows\temp, access denied, file is read-only. Change the properties of files or contact Admin"in some way, I lost the ability to write to this folder. Changing the property of the 'read only' file does not work, it activates again when the file is closed. I have here a way to solve this problem while still limiting the administrator user profile. level?
    First of all, if you look at the 'Read only' attribute of a folder in the Properties window, you must know that this box has absolutely nothing to do with any read-only attribute.  It is actually used to customize the folder.  Microsoft's explanation of this is in the following article:
    "You can not view or change the read-only or the attributes of system files in Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7"
      <>http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326549 >
    To change the access permissions to a specific folder, the easiest method is to log on as an administrator and change the permissions using the 'Security' tab, as seen when right click on a folder and select "Properties".  If you do not see a 'Security' tab, this means that you have XP Home or you have XP Pro with 'Simple file sharing' enabled.  Assuming you have XP Pro, you can change the access permissions to the terms of this article:
    "How to disable the file sharing simple and how to set permissions on a shared folder in Windows XP"
      <>http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307874 >
    If you have XP Home Edition, you can start mode safe (repeatedly tap the F8 key during startup key) and then log in as an administrator and follow the above article, or you can log in as an administrator in Normal mode and use the command "cacls" from a command prompt window.  To bring up a command prompt window,
    Start-> Run-> "cmd".
    Then, enter the command:
    cacls C:\Windows\Temp/e/g everyone: F
    What will give "everyone" access to the complete directory.
  • Profile of user does not periodically; Windows Update does not work
    I had the "the user profile Service has no logon. Failed to load the user profile"and did a system restored about two months ago. I had the same error once again and followed the instructions that I got from a help forum to identify my user profile when the computer starts. Then I got the error again and did a system restored again. Two things have happened:
    1. about every fourth time that I reboot, it loads to a temporary profile.
    2. Windows Update does not work. The error that appears when I try to run Windows Update is 80070005 "unknown error."
    Help! What's next?
    Corruption of the profiles can be caused by several things: malware infection, bad drivers, corruption of file system of Windows due to stops unsuitable, due to lack of material (RAM and disk hard first "suspects"). You need to know what caused the corruption.
  • Profile of user does not and much much more
    Ok... I read the user profile does not load help, but I can't get the solutions to not work. I hope someone here can help me.  :)
    I have created two profiles.  One is the admin (mine) and a second one for my wife.
    I get the error message "Unable to load profile" (or something of the sort) when I try to open my user profile (admin one)
    Following a thread on this topic, I tried to create an additional profile.  However, when I click on 'manage another account' my computer does nothing.  This is true in safe mode or using my spare user profile.  When it asks for a password here or any other time in my tests, when I type in correctly, it does nothing.  If, as a test", I type in the wrong, I get an error message, so I don't know, I type the wrong password.
    Now, I can access most of the files under my user name.  The exception is "documents" and "desktop".  Fortunately, I can get 'MY documents' so I put everything on an external drive.  (and I can do at the moment as well under this profile.)
    To complicate the ways, if I try to run cmd WITHOUT running it as an administrator, it is well, but I can't scan my drive as I want to.  When I right click Run as administrator, I get the message "Windows cannot find"C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe".  Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. »
    I start back up once a week, however, I can't run "System Restore" restore all my files.  I get the error with both messages.
    After working with it for a while, I can't get into safe mode.  After hitting F8, I reach a frozen screen.  In other words, I can not navigate to other settings, and I can not select the default value.  (I think it's "repair menu" or something of the sort.)
    I found a thread to force the computer into safe mode to start upward.  However, when I go to run msconfig, I get the message "Windows cannot find 'C:\Windows\system32\msconfig.exe'.  Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again.
    I am running windows 7 Home premium (service pack 1) 64-bit.
    My processor is an AMD phenomenon II X 6 1090 t. processor 3.2 GHz.
    8 GB of DDR3 RAM.
    It's a HPE-470f.
    I have scanner antivirus (AVG) every night and often run spybot and malware bytes to check other unpleasant things.
    ANY help that anyone can provide is much appreciated.
    I feel that your machine has suffered serious damage. What it is that I have no idea. I could do this:
    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
    5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    7. Configure Windows in two weeks.
    No error message.
    Changes:
    Uninstalled some things via the control panel (I don't know where I can find a newspaper which has been uninstalled)
    Attempt to system restore and it failed.
    My diagnosis:
    First of all, some info on why the devices do not work.
    The USB controller claims there are insufficient system resources to complete the API. However, I am only using about 20% of my memory and my hard drive. If I deactivate and reactivate the device through Device Manager it starts working until the computer passes in mode 'sleep' or reboots.
    The Realtek PCIe controller and Intel Centrino Wireless adapter simply read {operation failed}. If I disable and re-enable these devices via Device Manager they begin to work until the computer mode "sleep" or reboots.
    The Microsoft Kernel Debug network adapter "is not present, is not working properly or is not all its drivers installed."
    Intel WiUSB - windows cannot load the drivers for this device (code 31).
    The HP support assistant tries to download and install "Wireless for windows drivers 8. The download succeeds, but the installation fails.
    At startup, windows thinks that there are no network adapters (other than bluetooth). After the reboot of the devices from the Device Manager, they appear in the section of the network adapters.
    Thank you in advance for reading this and any help you may be able to offer,
    I see. Unfortunately, the failure of the short DST means that the hard drive needs to be replaced. The computer is still under warranty?
    If so, you can contact HP Technical Support and ask them to send you a replacement. This replacement will come with recovery media. If you don't have an external CD drive, make sure you request a recovery rather than recovery disks USB. They should know that the model already, but, I would make sure. Once you have received the new hard disk, you will need to send the back of an old man in this same area, using the provided shipping label. The technician on the phone will give you the details on that.
    Hello
  • Pavilion dv4 recovery DVD is not recognized at startup
    I made a set of 4 HP recovery assistant recovery DVDs when my PC was brand new, and now I want to fix the system (after the failure of the CMF to repair files). However, I get an error of 0xc0000255 at startup (everything has been already verified as OK). Any ideas?
    Found!. As there is no option to select the device to boot to the POST and the option "Fix the system" after F8 does not by default on the CD/DVD drive, it must be done in the BIOS (F10 at startup). So I chose DVD under the 1st boot device.
  • Drive not recognized at startup after successful start installation
    I've recently updated almost all my hardware and re-installed Windows 7 Ultimate.  After the re-installation of day software and tweak the OS to where I need it, I woke the next morning to see the machine has restarted and Windows installation disc was ready to reinstall Windows (i.e. during the restart it does not recognize the HDD to boot).
    The BIOS is configured to boot from the good drive, but Windows sees any disk.  When I tried to use the 'repair' utility, it tells me it is do a repair, but after I re-boot, it is the same story.  When I look at the details of the repair, it tells me that there is something wrong with the partition table.  It's a new disc that never had anything else on the subject until I installed Windows.
    What is frustrating, it is when I click on the button "Load Drivers" and I am browsing for files, I can see the drive boot and all the files on it, and all my other disks.  Yet, the Windows repair utility is not see the Windows installation or startup disk.
    I have the following configuration:
    ASUS P6T MB
    18 GB OF RAM DDR3
    Intel Quad Core 3.2 GHz
    nVidia 470 GTX video
    2 x disks Seagate 1 TB (which is the startup disk)
    1 x WD 1 TB drive
    3 x 320 GB drives
    So, I tested all my discs with SeaTools and none apparent problems.  I didn't run the 'Long Test', as my thought was the test runs would be back on something as simple as a problem of table partition or another issue related to the start-up.
    Disabling all other readers, was not good either.
    Rather than spend the evening enitre tests and try out the options, I opted for another new facility.  Things went smoothly and this morning that I didn't have the same problem (that is, the computer was not restarted for the installation DVD).
    I did two things differently this time.  I installed all my MB / drivers chipset as soon as Windows has been installed, rather than do it later.  Second, I turned off all power management.
  • Tecra S11 with BIOS 3.50 - USB mouse is not recognized at startup
    Hello
    I installed the latest version of the BIOS in my TECRA S11 - U10, and now my "HID" device does not-that is to say my dongled USB wireless mouse. I must now remove the dongle and re - insert before the TECRA sees the mouse.
    Boring, just about usable, but it's a PITA and I'm aware of always 'making/breaking' the USB connection.
    Must be something to do with the BIOS and see devices HID on "start"?
    Finally, I enabled Legacy USB in the BIOS device support, but still no joy. In addition, have tested the mouse on other laptops - works well at the start, so NOT the mouse.
    Suggestions, people? Thank you...
    Hello
    Disconnect your USB mouse and go to Device Manager.
    Remove all USB hubs and USB controllers in Device Manager list.
    Reboot the laptop.
    Wait until all the USB ports have recognised and installed again.
    Then connect the USB mouse and check how it works.
    You should also test different USB ports available on this laptop.
    Based on my experience, your extended keyboard usb from Apple is the oldest plastic or the most recent aluminium? Based on which you have a branch above Apple usb extension cable. Anyway look at the end of the cable usb and it is most likely has that match unusual for her, this little triangle. It can fit on the Mac Pro USB, but can be a little bit loose as an adjustment. If you use a newer Apple usb extension on the older plastic Apple usb keyboard, this isn't a good fit. If you use the old extension of usb Apple on the most recent alum Apple keyboard, which is not a good fit.
    So low line trying to look at the adjustment of the end of the usb in the Mac Pro or hub or ver, you connect to. I got this problem which caused two problems: I was using the older usb Apple with the new Apple alum keyboard extension cable.
    1. frequently the keyboard did not react, looked dead
    2 - beta install for starting seeds would start on the hard drive to complete the installation.
    Given that I have "corrected" the usb extension appropriate keyboard usb Apple alum both problems went away.
