profile video cards low s7620uk

I have a Pavilion s7620uk slimline desktop computer. It has a low profile of Asus geforce 7500le 256 MB card. I would like to replace with a better card. Anyone know what could adapt and be ok with power supply?

Nick, here is a link to some posts on the forum about video cards for Slimline models.  Read messages to see if there is any map that will help you.  In my opinion, you will not be able to improve your computer's performance enough to justify the cost.  The limiting factor is the power supply (PSU), as you noted.  I think it's to 180W 160W.

I installed a hpcompaq dc7100 low-profile video card. Since then the sound has stopped working. anyway to uninstall the audio portion of the video card and use the original computer sound card? or any other suggestions to have the computer see the new sound portion of the new video card? What can I do to make the sound come back lol

    Thank you

    Hello:

You go into the BIOS, select the Advanced Options menu.

Go to device configuration menu and there will be an embedded audio setting.

It will be set to Disabled.  Change the setting to "Enabled".  Save the setting by pressing the F10 key, then again when you exit the BIOS here.

After you restart, you will have the on-board audio back.

  • My Slimline s5-1020 is not HDMI. I just bought a HDTV with HDMI. Can I add a low profile video card?

I found a fanless, so, apparently, that it wouldn't overheat. Also, I want a video card that is 32-bit or 64-bit? Thank you.

Also, the presence or absence of a fan on the card should not be a factor on the HDMI.  Unless you're a player PC enthusiast or need to do a lot of intensive graphic type things, you should be ok with the card without a fan.  Keep in mind that you want to have adequate ventilation around the PC to make sure that the chassis fan can circulate more fresh outside air inside the chassis.

This is the fo the computer manuals:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?cc=us & LC = on & DLC = in & Product = 4065873

Look at the manual illustrated parts & Service card.  It tells you which components will be fit.

I think that the card fits.  You will need to check with the manufacturer to see if the power supply has enough power to complete.  It is 240W.

  • Dell Optiplex 755 SFF 2015 video card update

    Dear readers.

I'll buy my first Dell computer, which is a Dell Optiplex 755 Small Form Factor. It has a Core 2 Quad q6600 CPU in it, with 2 GB of ram and a PSU 275w. I have a Nvidia Geforce GT220 video card, which is a low profile video card, it can consume the maximum of 58 W, and this video card requires at least 300 W works without problems. Will it work with this diet?

I'll buy an Ati Radeon HD 2400 XT, because im does not intend to do some games 'hardcore' and other animals, it can be good for my needs.

The 2400XT is very outdated and terribly weak power. You are much better with people like a Sapphire 6450, that can be done for $43 postpaid from Newegg.

  • Video card for a Dell studio Slim (profile low video card)

I have a Dell studio Slim (Sevice tag ADMIN NOTE: maintain the label removed by privacy policy >) with an ATi radeon Hd 3450-256 MB video card...

This poor card doesn't work well anymore, so I want to replace it for this one (ASUS Radeon HD 6450 650 MHZ 2 GB 1.2 GHZ DDR3 CrossFireX DVI HDMI Sub - D HDCP PCI-E DX11), my question is: this card is compatible with my system. I still have a windows vista as operating system.

    Thank you

If it's the card you're talking about, then it will be fine as long as it comes with a low profile support.  Otherwise, you can probably remove your HD 3450 support and put on this card.  Most low profile cards come with a flange of fixed size, and you must remove it and put on the support of profile down so he could take in the case of slim.

  • my video card is low

You cannot pass the video you have - if you want to play, you simply need a top system range.  It is a budget model that won't do for what you want to run on the system.

  • HP Pavilion Slimline s3720f: what video card should I buy?

I want to add a new video card (not too expensive) for my old HP Pavilion Slimline s3720, but I do not know what video card to buy, because there are far too many choices. I know that the new card must be low profile with a half support so it can fit into the currently available in the motherboard slot. I hope that Conect my Dell UltraSharp 1708FP 17-inch LCD flat monitor VGA on this new card to get the best resolution and graphics. Can someone give me a recommendation indicating which card to buy? Please be specific. Thank you.

The slimelines should never require a lot of video.  Your 2008 model circa was Vista.  Updates drivers ended with WIN 7. It's a miracle you got WIN10 without drivers available is another story.  Another factor is the skinny 160W PSU. That limits your options if you have a.  The common consensus is that either.  added heat from a graphics card, the likely additonal to a new power supply really outweighed costs.

  • install the video card

How can I disable integrated/onboard graphics on my hp 3500 pro using windows 7.  my system does not show a boot option disable security

Most HP desktop PC BIOS turn off the graphics card integrated automatically when a video card is installed.

UEFI PCs are a very different breed. Upgrade one video solution to others which specifies the option HP is quite difficult because of the strict limitations that the BIOS placed on upgrades.

Yours is a work PC and not a class of consumer product.

The NVIDIA GeForce GT635 2 GB and AMD Radeon HD8570 are only two video cards eventually sold with the PC model you own. Low profile cards models are likely to be the best way to go.

  • Addition of dc7800 SFF video card: no video output

I bought an EVGA GeForce 210 graphics card to an HP dc7800p SFF.  PCIe low profile fits into the designated location and the fan works, so I don't know that it is powered.

When I install the card and the start-up of the machine, I get no video output at all.  There is no output over the connection video integrated dc7800.  It is perhaps as expected, because the technical documentation indicates that installing a PCIe x 16 graphics subsystem integrated card Devils.  However, there is no video output from the GeForce card either (from the VGA or digital outputs).

The machine appears at Startup OK, because I can hear the prompt for the power on password.  If I enter that password, I get audio confirmation that it has been entered correctly entered and remove the disk activity whereas Win7 initializes, I can't see because there is no video output.

I have updated the BIOS until the last level available about a week before, so I don't think it's a factor.

I've read other suggestions, which some suggest to disable the video through the BIOS Setup.  I hesitate to try this, because if I turn off the video installation, integrated GeForce card and it doesn't work, then I have a machine with no video and no way to reactivate the integrated graphical subsystem.

    Suggestions please.

    Hello:

    The Board may be faulty.

Even if the P/S of your model is only 240W, this card should work with a 240W P/S.

I also agree with you that it would be imprudent to trifle with the BIOS settings. That will lead you nowhere anyway.

The video card automatically disables the car video, and if you were to somehow anticipate that, Yes, you must reset the CMOS in order to retrieve your video. Not at all difficult to do, but why waste your time?

Now... Did you first uninstall the video drivers before installing new video card?

If this is not the case, there is an outside chance that is the question.  If you do not, remove video card, start the PC and uninstall the drivers for the on-board video.

    Reseat the video card.

You can also clear the CMOS and play the long shot.

See the guide below for how to do this.  It'll take you a few minutes. (Annex B, page 60).

    http://bizsupport1.Austin.HP.com/BC/docs/support/SupportManual/c01162207/c01162207.PDF

In this way, you have done everything you can and then came to the conclusion that the card is bad or not compatible.

Return the card and get this one. $21.99 after discount. Comes with metal DVD/HDMI low profile.

The Radeon HD 6450 is an option card offered in the HP Elite 8200 Mini PC, which is more recent than the dc7800 a few generations, but it has the same P/S 240W.

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16814125404

BTW, when you install a video card to work with HDMI, your integrated audio system is also disabled.

So after installing the video drivers for the card, restart the PC, go into the BIOS, go to the menu of the device on board and change the audio settings shipped from disabled to enabled. Press the F10 key to save the setting and again when you go out.

  • Video of s3100y scrolling problem and the addition of video card

I have an intermittent problem with the screen scrolling on its own, especially as I move the mouse. I suspect it is the video card material which is integrated motherboard. Usually, I can restart and it works fine for a while. I wonder especially if it is possible to turn off the video and add a video card to my system which is a slimline s3100y desktop computer. I am running Vista Home Premium SP2. Or other suggestions to solve the problem. I haven't noticed mainly in the browser, the two current Firefox and knowledge

    Thank you!

    Hello

You can try to reinstall or update the graphics drivers. This is an update to the Intel Expressdrivers.

Have you tried a system restore point before the appearance of this problem?

Another option is to save your data, you need and make a recovery of the plant using the partition recovery or your recovery disks.

Finally, if all fails to correct the problem, you can add a discreet graphics card.

He will need a card low profile capable of running on a 180 Watt power supply.

Here are some discrete graphics card options, your PC has offered to purchase:

    GeForce 7300LE

    GeForce 8300GS

    GeForce 8400GS

    GeForce 7500LE

  • Upgrade to an integrated video card

I have a desktop HP Pavilion Slimline s5212y.  I wish I could run Supreme order Forged Alliance in this respect.  It seems to need a better video card.  I have Windows 7 64-bit operating system.  SupCom runs on Directx9.

Suggestions that can be inserted in the slimline case?  I watch the series GeForce 8000 or Radeon 2000 or 3000.  I have no idea what should be or if another video card will work with this computer.

    Hello:

The biggest problem is the 220 W P/S in your PC.

Which puts a limit on what you can install.

I could go with this one. I see only one installed this in a tower case and it comes with low profile brackets that you need.

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16814125428

The specifications for the GPU indicate a maximum only 29W power draw, so you should be OK.

  • HP Slimline problem with video card?

    Hello

I got a Slimline s3020n for a few years and have never had a problem with it. A few days ago when I turned it on there is no picture on the monitor except the box that is displayed when you turn it on and it says: "no signal". I plugged into another computer to the screen to see if the monitor was the problem and it worked fine. I swapped the hard drive thinking that might work, but still had the same problem. All lights turn on and it seems that everything works (hard drive, fans) which leads me to think, maybe it's a problem with the video card. My question is if you have advice on what could be the problem and I think that the video card is integrated into the motherboard, so I have to replace the whole motherboard to fix this. Thank you.

    -Chris

    Chris,

Your PC has built-in video on the motherboard.  If it is simply a matter of graphic, a low profile card could be added to the system.   However, you can view the following link - depending on when you purchased your product - you may qualify for an extended warranty - the problem, he describes sounds similar to what you mentioned.  I found this on the page of the product of the s3020n, btw.
