  When I run an HTML report using hyperion planning, HTML reports work very well and look good on the workspace, BUT when I click on the PDF icon, the grids appear to overlap each other. May I know why this happens and how I can fix this?
  
  I don't want the grids overlap between them and the following grid should appear only after another as its operation when running it html reports. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

  Hello Adi,

  Can you check the horizontal and vertical Positions of your second grid? Order your second grid following first, you must assign Relative positioning option for vertically or horizontally according to your format. For example, in one of the reports, I have two grids, both are assigned to left horizontally. First report is assigned the top and second report is assigned Relative vertically. So when I run the report, the second grid starts right after the first grid.

• Charset in html reports

  I'm currently building a VI that creates reports in html, using the report generation tools (LV2011). But the text in my reports contains non-English characters. I should the value of charset ISO-8859-9 by a meta tag in the head section of html code (as ). But because I can't add html code directly to the head of the article (or can I?), I tried to use the report police VI value. There is a cluster setting called font settings, and it has a named charset I16 element. Help file explains "charset is the character set to use for the text of the report. The default value is - 1. "but I can't change the character set, because I don't know what are the character set for the language codes.

  How can I set charset in html reports, if possible?

  I found a solution and wanted to post it here also. I tried reporting screws, add some HTML, css, javascript code and dom manipulation code. I found myself with a simpler solution, even if it isn't 'exactly the path '. I add tag meta charset as direct html code, just after the creation of html report:

  

  Note: Set screw header and footer should be used with their "placement of the header" parameters "Add to the body", the value in order not to be written before meta charset.

  Some css code may also be added with meta charset, if the user wants to use the css codes instead of set report police VI, such as:

  As a rule of html, meta charset should be in the head section, but since it is not possible to insert code in the head with screw statement section, I'm inserting at the top of the body section. However, it works in Firefox and IE.

• hyperlink to an html report

  I use LV2009.

  I simulated a test of a jury of the test report and generating a HTML report in VI. The generated HTML report is saved in the file in a folder on the hard disk.

  All I wann is the hypertext link to the HTML report in the front panel.

  I saw a few posts in the forum on the hyperlink but the majority dealt with excel spreadsheets.

  Looking forward for your solutions.

  It is not compatible with the report query, generating a hidden item and two items of text programmatically:

  Either generate the form in the query rate control programmatically using the apex_item , or set declaratively by using attributes of the column. You can't do both. The apex_item.select_list_from_lov* methods are used to generate by the selection list controls based program named LOVs.

  I am doing a report which displays using HTML. I would like the user to be able to run the report, and if it returns a table have a hyperlink. When you click the hyperlink should bring to the object editor. This would work in a similar way that right-click on a table name in the PLSQL Editor and selecting open Decleration.

• Can't do html and color in a cell of the report

  I have a SQL report, EXPECTED_RESULTS, column that anchored the html in the data (< BR > especially for formatting). I put the column attribute "Standard report Column", and well formatted data views.
  
  However, I also want to color dynamically the cell according to other criteria. To do this, I generate another column in the SQL called TEST_COLOR. When I put EXPECTED_RESULTS formatting of column-> HTML Expression to ' < span > < div class = "#TEST_COLOR #" > #EXPECTED_RESULTS # < / div > < / span > ', I get the color, but lose the bet in the form HTML. < BR > is ignored (even if I do not see display them as text).

• Is there a way to merge the bookmarks on my old pc with those on my new pc? (PS: I have unable connect to the old pc using old profile but can access the profiles folder).

  My profile on my old laptop has become corrupted and I can't log in with my regular account (admin). I would like to add and merge bookmarks former firefox to another laptop, which already has existing bookmarks. I can not simply copy and paste the profile folder as this would crush my existing bookmarks and settings. Unfortunately, I have not set up the sync on this browser feature.

  Unfortunately, Firefox doesn't have good tools to merge and dédupliquant bookmarks. I will propose a roundabout way to do. Here's an overview:

  (1) create a new profile Virgin (#3) in your current Firefox (see details at the end)

  (2) while using the #3 profile, restore a file in JSON format to backup your old (#1 profile) system (see restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer)

  (3) export bookmarks restored to an HTML element in a perfect location, with a file name unique format (see Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks)

  (4) exit Firefox and is reactivated in your normal profile (profile #2)

  (5) file bookmarks import as HTML (see import bookmarks in HTML file)

  (6) create a backup in case something is not going to step 7 (see restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer)

  (7) rearrange bookmarks in the folder of imported bookmarks (see https://support.mozilla.org/kb/use-bookmarks-to-save-and-organize-w...), possibly using an add-on deduplicating

  Create a new Firefox profile

  A new profile will be your plugins installed by system (for example, Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions or other customizations. It should also have databases of completely fresh settings and cool a cache folder.

  Out of Firefox and start in the profile using Start Manager > Search box (or run):

  firefox.exe -P
  

  Do not delete anything here. Any time want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog box.

  Click on the button to create a profile, give it a name like OldBookmarks and skip the option to change the folder. Then launch Firefox in the new profile that you have created.

  You are ready to return to the new profile and create export to HTML format.

  When you return to the Profile Manager, you might be tempted to use the button to delete the profile. It's a little too easy to accidentally delete your 'real' profile, so I recommend you to resist the temptation. If you don't want to clean up later, I suggest to make a backup of all your profiles first in case something go wrong.

• How to install avast

  OK I downloaded Avast and when I try to install it I get error 1006 and 00035. a Message that says self-extracting file error and download again and to clear the cache of files internet Grand.  Whatever!  Someone at - it suggestions.  My old windows xp had a problem.  I just got rid of Norton.

  I install Avast regularly on customers machines and did so several hundred times. And Yes, it is a better choice than Norton. Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Once you have uninstalled Norton, did run his removal tool? If this isn't the case, then you can do it. Restarts once the removal tool is finished running.

  2 remove the Avast installer that you downloaded, and delete temporary files and temporary Internet files cache.

  b. for Firefox, clear its cache by going to tools > Options > privacy > Cache > clear.
  c. for Windows temporary files, run Disk Cleanup. In XP and Vista, you can find the disk cleanup shortcut in your Start Menu under programs > Accessories > system tools > disk cleanup.

  3 download a fresh Avast installer from:

  Now you should be able to install Avast. After installation, you will need to run Avast as administrator (right click on the Avast icon and choose 'Run as administrator') to enter your registration code. Then Avast exit and restart it as your normal user (Standard) to put in place as you wish.

  You can use the global variable of the APEX package below to get the image prefix in pl/sql. Of course, your procedure should be in APEX, schema analysis application.

  I check the forums of andPL/SQL SQL almost everyday, this forum less.

  But Tom's right. Because the plugin doesn't work in most cases your problem is very likely related data. So if you could share the xlsx file, or the files mentioned Tom that it would probably help solve the problem
  The demo of the plugin page, you can find an updated version, here , which fixes some problems. I'm not sure if solves your problem.

• Problem with interactive report

  I use Apex 4.2

  I have an interactive in which I activated the filtering and sorting.

  When I click on one of the column in the interactive report, saying: "LAST NAME", it shows me the filtering and sorting options drop down.

  The poster also available name drop extracted from the query, but it shows me some range of name pronounce A - C only.

  I have family with starting with another letter also names, but those names are not displayed.

  For some columns displays the values of A to E, but not the full list.

  How to display the entire list in this fall down.

  Because of interactive report performance, it loads only a few filters.

  If you change the column definition for the column, under set the Filter Type of column to one of the other options like 'User defined list of values to exact match filter' from the list of values.  You can then specify the query used to generate this list.  You could use something like what listed below to grab the first 20000 records.

  But don't forget, it will always affect your performance of interactive report page.
