  • How to create a generic method to programmatically access the DB sequence in oracle adf

    Hello

    I am trying to create a generic method to access a programmaticall DB Sequence in oracle adf. My version of JDeveloper is 11.1.2.4.

    I created a method getSequenceNumber (String seq) and saved in my application module. Also added to the links of my page.

    I followed the instructions below link for this.

    ADF Code corner: Oracle OTN JDeveloper harvest xx / 2010

    Note: The problem with this approach is that I have to create separate methods to access the different sequence numbers.

    In my managed bean, I wrote the code below to get the method name.

    OperationBinding getNextSequence = ADFUtils.findOperation ("getSequenceNumber");

    How can I pass my sequence DB name to this method?

    Thank you

    Hello

    getNextSequence.getParameterMap.put ("seq", "yuorseqname");

    getNextSequence.execute ();

  • "Error 1719. Able to access the Windows Installer Service"when you install programs.

    After spending the last week every night trying to get some software installed (and of course the search for remedies in probably all available forums), I let go and post this request for assistance. But first my story:

    I have lived the last week suddenly my Neat Receipts software does not recognize my scanner more. Trying to reinstall the software, I came across the error that Windows Installer could not be started. That's when I started first for solutions. I was surprised how many solutions I found (but more redoubled practically the same thing), but none did it for me. At this point, I was always under the assumption that it is a problem of the Neat Receipts software.

    Then after another night of frustration I could not pass my trial version Office 2010 plus a sort of license error. I was a little surprised that the trial version which abruptly ended without giving me the opportunity to enter a license key (I got wrong), but doesn't bother too much because I liked the product and had noticed last week as well as Office 2010 is already officially released and I decided to buy it. After spending about $300 and a successful upload, I tried to install it.

    And here my saga continues. First I got the message that I couldn't upgrade my trial version and need to uninstall. Uninstall with the uninstaller routine does not work (windows error message install), but I could uninstall it using the Windows-Install-Clean-Up utility. Now, I can start the installation process, but after being nearly halfway through the installation, I again get the error of Windows install the Windows Installer Service cannot be accessed (Error 1719). It is roughly the same error that I got at the beginning, when I tried to reinstall the software, Neat receipts. So, it seems not to be a misapplication of Neat receipts or Office 2010, but a windows problem.

    The frustrating thing however is that after spending all hours searching online for solutions, the only thing I've discovered is that I am in good company (i.e. There are many others have reported the same problem), but none of the solutions work. Just to be safe, do not for get the same Advisor I tried already several times, let me enumerate what I've done so far:

    1. I am logged on as administrator

    2 - I started the Windows Installer service

    3 - I ran SCF /sannow (no problems found)

    4. I not saved and re-entered the msiecec with / opt and/regserver. I did so explicitly for BOTH (!) msiexec programs, one in the system32 folder and the one in the sysWOW64 folder

    5. I tried to repair Windows 7 boot from the windows 7 installation DVD and run the option repair (no problem found)

    6. I tried to pass the parameter registry WOW64 (for MSIServer) from 1 to 0 (I found this in one of the suggested solutions) [and later again back to the original value 1]

    7. I tried to 'force' windows to ignore the msiexec for 64 bit (in the system32 folder) by renaming and by identifying the msiexec for 32 bit 9 in the sysWOW64 folder) and update the path regsever C:\Windows\system32\msiexec.exe \V to C:\Windows\syswow64\msiexec.exe \V

    8 - I disabled my firewall and antivirus

    9 - I did everything above in many variations with reset (both the save option - reboot)

    -in fact, I could do things more I can't remember.

    Unfortunately a recovery is not an option most, because I guess I tried too many things and my view of the possible return is a point in which my computer was already in place...

    I tried to involve as well a representative of Microsoft support explaining my dilemma, but only made e-mail a generic response on this same forum (great customer service!).

    While I was actually pretty happy in the last 4 months with my new Windows7 (and thus Office2010), I am now reaching the point where I fell like throwing finally the towel and kiss goodbye to Microsoft. I was seriously considering to move to Apple before decide me in February favor some cheaper hardware to continue with Microsoft and the new Windows7. But this experience not being able to fix my computer after spending nights in the search for solutions and not be able to get support from Microsoft disgusts me.

    Now I wonder if there is someone out there who could help me out here...

    Of course, the .msi applies only to installers .msi, which was my mistake for which I apologize.  Regarding a clean installation, the fact remains that you have faced this anomaly for several days, a clean install, despite the pain, would be a distant memory now.  This is my personal opinion, not Microsoft, they me disavowed a long time ago, in all cases MVPS have nothing to do with Microsoft, although the price is published by Microsoft, it is awarded for the caregiver, or in this case try to help others.  It is good that I can at least allow you to vent, it's better out there that maintenus kept bottled upward, no matter how hard it seems to fix the problem, it will be resolved in your favor by subsequently, one way or the other.

    In pursuing the side of permissions of things you can try that if you wish.

    This example may or may not work for you, with your program?

    "It seems that the"Run as Administrator"command gives you administrative privileges only, and they are not enough to install Java (and OpenOffice, by association). To work around this problem, you must actually connect to an administrator. Open a command prompt with admin rights by clicking Start, type cmd in the search/run box, hit CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER. At the prompt, type:

    NET user administrator / Active: Yes

    Then disconnect from your regular account and record as an administrator, you should be able to install the program. When you are finished, open a session to your regular account and, for security reasons, disabling the account administrator for assistance:

    «net user administrator / active: No.»

  • How to access the methods and properties of the main document class

    How can I access methods and properties of the class of main document of other classes?
    Can someone give me a clue what I'm doing wrong?

    I use ActionScript3 in Flash CS3 with strict error checking on. I have an application with several custom classes:

    1. the MainMovie class is associated with the document.

    2. the SomeMovieClip class is associated with a movie clip symbol in the library and an instance of the symbol is placed on the main timeline.

    Compilation Flash returns this error message: "1061: call to a method may not set [name of the method here] through a reference with static type flash.display:DisplayObject.".

    I get the same error if I replace the undelined above with this code:

    root.gotoAndStop ("aFrameLabel");

    If I replace the same code simply with:

    trace (root)

    Flash returns [object MainMovie], which tells me that it recognizes the document class.

    However, if I turn the strict error checking, the compilation ends and the movie works as expected in all cases.

  • Access the method of class (impl) view of bean object (or vice versa)

    Halo everybody, I use JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0

    I use a UsersViewImpl class with a method that update the table as below.

    public void resetEmployeeSearch() {}
    removeApplyViewCriteriaName ("viewCriteria");
    executeQuery();
    }

    and I have a UserBean class with a method that reset the values of fields of research such as below.

    {} public void resetInput (ActionEvent actionEvent)
    ........ RichInputText = entry...
    input.setValue("");
    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .addPartialTarget (searchForm);
    ........
    }

    I want to implement that, once I press a button, the two methods are called.

    I tried to call method of bean using vs UsersViewImpl = new UsersViewImpl... who does not and will not work.
    I've read about something as ViewObject vo = am.findViewObject ("DeptView1") but I duno how to use because I can't have a good example.

    Any suggestion on access to the method of class (impl) view of bean object (or vice versa)?
    Or is it possible to combine the two method in the same class?

    Thanks :(

    and then create a link to this effect in your page. > Sorry, dun get this part. You create the link from the button to the UsersViewImpl method?
    The code below should be method (binding) in UsersViewImpl, right?
    OperationBinding op = ((DCBindingContainer) BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ()) .getOperationBinding ();
    op. Execute();

    What I meant to say call this code your method of bean... this way you can call both the logic in your bean and the method of VO together!

  • Could not access the Windows Installer service

    I'm tring to appear on an error message received when I tried to download .NET Framework 2.0 it says could not access windows service install and I need this program to the someone can help?

    Hello
    1. are you able to install other programs?

    This problem may occur if one of the following conditions is true:
    1. the Windows Installer files that are on your drive hard are missing or are damaged.
    2. you install or remove a program that uses the package file to install software for the Microsoft install (MSI) Windows (.msi).

    To resolve this problem, use the following methods.
    Method 1: Reregister Windows install.
    1. Click Start, type cmd, right-click on cmd, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. at the command prompt type msiexec /unreg and then press ENTER.
    3. at the prompt, type msiexec/regserver, and then press ENTER.

    Method 2: Disable the .NET Framework 3.0 before installing .NET Framework 2.0
    Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 is the default version built into Windows Vista. We recommend that you first cross check if it is enabled in the Windows features turn on or off. To do this, try the following steps.
    1. click on start, type optionalfeatures and press to enter.
    2. in the verification of the list if .NET Framework 3.0 is enabled or disabled. If it is enabled, disable it and restart the computer.
    3. install .NET Framework 2.0 and check the result.

    Method 3: Install the latest .NET Framework.
    1. visit the following Web site and download the latest version and install it.
    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=120486

    For more information, see this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942288

    NOTE: Don't forget to follow method 2 to activate the .NET Framework.

    I hope this helps.

    Or I have to create the VOImpl object class in class EntryHandle? as in programming java Simple? or something else

    JDeveloper Version: 11g Release 2 11.1.2.0.0

    Zaid,

    If you have a VO with 2 attributes, you have defined the category value. (This poster Lov sense and sets the value for the category field).

    You want to get the value selected from the lov. Is this correct?

    When do you get this value? When they choose a new value from the LOV.

    If you have written the code in the valueChangeListener, you can check the link below:

    https://blogs.Oracle.com/ADF/entry/getting_selected_value_from_selectonechoice

    Code of the blog

    public void valueChanged(ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent) {
        this.setValueToEL("#{bindings.Deptno.inputValue}", valueChangeEvent.getNewValue()); //Updates the model
        System.out.println("\n******** Selected Value: "+resolveExpression("#{bindings.Deptno.attributeValue}"));
        System.out.println("\n******** Display Value: "+resolveExpression("#{bindings.Deptno.selectedValue ne ' ' ? bindings.Deptno.selectedValue.attributeValues[1] : ''}"));
    }

    public Object resolveExpression(String el) {
        FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
        ELContext elContext = facesContext.getELContext();
        ExpressionFactory expressionFactory =  facesContext.getApplication().getExpressionFactory();
        ValueExpression valueExp = expressionFactory.createValueExpression(elContext,el,Object.class);
        return valueExp.getValue(elContext);
    }

    public void setValueToEL(String el, Object val) {
        FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
        ELContext elContext = facesContext.getELContext();
        ExpressionFactory expressionFactory =   facesContext.getApplication().getExpressionFactory();
        ValueExpression exp = expressionFactory.createValueExpression(elContext, el, Object.class);
        exp.setValue(elContext, val);
    }

    You can get the selected value and the value of display with the above code. You need to replace Deptno by category.

    See you soon

    Hi Anhinav,

    Because the reader is not 'extended' Web Services will not work on the drive.  They are, however, (as you noted) work in Acrobat, which is "extended".

    Web services to work in Reader, you will need to purchase the LiveCycle Reader Extensions.

  • To access the email (Inbox) via web interface

    Hi all.
    I'm testing the functionality of Oracle beehive.

    I installed the hive 1.4.3.0 + beekeeper 1.4.3.0 on windows 2003. Is it possible for a user to access email, address book, etc. via the web page as it is in the Zimbra? If yes how can I access it? (url, port).

    Concerning

    Groxy

    Hello
    If you had 3 GB or more of RAM of the machine where you installed the server of the hive, the Zimbra web interface would been configured automatically in 1.4.3. It'll be at: http://application-tier server: port/zimbra. Where "Server" is the hive, and the port is probably 7777 if there was nothing else on the machine using this port when you installed.
