• Progress bar on ingest?

  I've always wondered why there is no progress bar or status indicator appears so when I ingest. I've read through the forums and it seems that there should be some kind of bar that appears at the bottom left of the window, but I have never seen one. I looking in the wrong place? Is there something I need to enable in the settings? I've included a screenshot taken during ingest. I know, copying files because they continue to appear in the project window and events. I also keep an eye on my HARD disk using utility iStat Menus activity, so I know that readers are reading/writing as confirmation of activity.

  It would really help if I could see the status, not only in the form of visual (status bar), but also provide the elapsed time, remaining time, '12.5 GB of 65.2 Go' copied (something like that) would be incredibly useful. On a shoot, I swallow, literally, thousands of clips (from several cameras) in a day. I have them the tail and guarding basically copies until late into the night, to find out where I can be very useful. If it's going to take 5 hours, I can take a NAP!

  Not sure I understand the question. If you move a file from one folder to another folder on the same drive, there is no need of a progress bar. It would be just to change the path of the file.

  I don't think it's a problem of FF because it also happens when I use IE 10, but I always get better help than Youtube or IE.

  When I watch a video on Youtube the guard progress bar appearing and disappearing every few seconds if you move the mouse. I tried to move the mouse in an area off the screen and turn it off (the mouse, it's a Microsoft 3500 wireless) but that made no difference, it just guard appearing and disappearing every few seconds.

  It does exactly the same thing if I use IE10, so I don't think it's an add-on to FF or app. I never use IE10 so I don't have a bunch of applications loaded on it.

  Other sites video don't do this then I think it's a problem of Yotube. He just started to arrive two days ago. Does anyone else have this problem? Or a solution?
