  Hi, I have problems with text fields dynamic that I placed the Framework 1. I wanted to have a visible property false until after the click of a button. So, I placed a line of code on the layer actions of frame 1 as:

  This.Sum.Visible = false; sum is the dynamic text field

  Even with 5 other text fields.

  Some of the fields appear when I test the movie and others not, but no suppose to appear. The console.log shows no error, and when I investigated console.log as: 'console.log (this.sum.visible)', I get 'false '.

  So I completely did not solve my problem, here is what happens...

• Question of feasibility: extract information from the fields to the PDF format

  There is an indicator of "String" and two buttons Boolean ("GenerateMouseDown?" and "GenerateMouseUp?") on the front panel.  If the value of the "GenerateMouseDown?" or "GenerateMouseUp?" control is set to TRUE, the string "GenerateMouseDown" or "GenerateMouseUp" will be added to the indicator "String" once I click on the indicator, otherwise there is no string added to the indicator.

  I created the vi as in the attachment to this post.  However, if I select the button of "GenerateMouseUp?" or "GenerateMouseDown?" as the value FALSE, the matching string still will add to the indicator.

  It's because you have linked to these events directly to the string ' String: mouse upwards.

  When you want to use the events registered dynamically, you must select instead: "': mouse upward"... "

  There are several ways to accomplish what you want.

  -You can create a PL/SQL procedure to manage an update on all the rows according to the value of the value of your column. I wrote once a blog that can help you with that:

  -You can create a dynamic action with javascript or jQuery to handle the change event.

  Here is an explanation of the output events of the specification XFA (page 391).

  get in, get out

  Enter the event fires when the field gets keyboard focus, that it was caused by a user action

  (in the field of the tab or by clicking with the mouse) or by a script by setting programmatically the

  Yes, there is a better way to do it without Reader Extensions.

  AJAX is not an option, because this is not supported by Adobe Reader.

  Here is the solution:

  Write that a REST based web or any Service Server Page that accepts the query string and meets the specified query string.

  Assume that a Page http://myserver.com/EmployeeDetails?EmpId=1234 server returns the details of the employee as comma-separated values.

  This page can be called from PDF using FormCalc

  the syntax is

  ResultField.rawValue = Get ("http://myserver.com/EmployeeDetails?EmpId=1234")

  EmpName.rawValue = ResultField.rawValue.split (",") [1];          Retrieve the name of the emp of result and fill in the field

  Note that if the page or the web service requires authentication, a basic authentication dialog box appears when you call this method.

  In order to better allow anonymous authentication for pages.

  I have implemented this approach in many projects and works very well.

  First of all, let me say that I am not a programmer so not sure if this is possible in Acrobat. I use Acrobat 9 Pro on Mac.

  I have a small timesheet form I want to automate to a certain extent. In the form is an area where I now enter a job number and my initials. I think that it would save time if I could retrieve this information from the file name of the form by using a script. Every work I do has a new timesheet created for her file, so the first 7 characters of the file name is the same information that goes into the field. Script of the field would save some typing time.

  It would go like this:

  1 copy the model form of timesheet of the server and rename for the work in progress.

  2. open the new file and click on the form field, where the number of jobs must be entered.

  My problem is when I add my Manager (who has a backgrond color) for the title. I see a gray line between the title and the body region (the body has a background color even my manager), so I did ' t like it.

  Try using setBanner() instead of setTitle(). I think that the banner does not normally include a field separator (which is what this line gray).
