They report that when they are working on projects that are located on a network drive, RohoHelp running very slowly (which never seemed to happen before with X 5). I read on several forums that RoboHelp must be used with projects that are on the local drive, but I can't find any formal recommendation to Adobe about it, or have no explanation as to why the network drive doesn't work well, I found. At Adobe all officially commented on it, and no one knows why the performance of the network drive is bad?   Your projects RoboHelp MUST live on a local drive. You can archive them on a network, but NEVER actually open and change while they are on the network.

  The two reasons most people incorrectly assume that they should be on the network is because you want to share with other authors and you want to back up in case your hard drive goes down. These are valid reasons, but it does not work because the. DPC (a cache of the Access database file) usually becomes corrupt - not to mention latency LAN-related performance problems.

  Until most of us do is either use the free RoboSource Control that comes with RoboHelp or establishing a manual routine to copy your current job to a LAN for more safety and establish a routine with the other authors who will be working on what, when.

  I have searched the boards for a solution to my problem, but have not been able to find an answer.

  I have a ST LIS3DH accelerometer connected to the NI USB-8451 using the I2C interface.  I'm just trying to read acceleration data chip and write to a file.  However, despite the fact that I say the loop to run every 1 ms, it seems that the faster, it can perform each read is about 12 ms (which is about 80 Hz).  I'm trying to ultimately collect data at 1000-5000 Hz, which would mean the execution of the loop each 0.2-1 ms.

  I'm new to Labview and realize that I might have some inefficiencies in my code.  I don't know if the code optimization will be enough to solve the problem or if Labview or 8451 all simply cannot hold to these speed.

  I'm running on the following system

  Windows 7 64 bit

  1st generation core i5

  8 GB RAM

  LabVIEW 2009

  If you have an up-to-date virus scanning program and scan your system. Then go see Adaware personal and start a new search. If these do not work, try to reinstall windows with the supplied with the system recovery cd. At this point, I would like to know how is the computer. • Windos XP and Internet Explorer runs slow after turning to...

  I really hope that someone can help me that the Forums have proved useful to me in the past.  This is my last issue.

  One of my parents, for reasons that I won't, get updated his cable, phone and internet in one of these beams that offers local, rather than paying for phone company each separately.  She has an office of older model PC that runs Windows XP and worked it, Office 2003 (if the memories are good) and Internet Explorer (I mean IE8) very well and quickly.

  After its upgrade of the high-speed line was complete one of the first things I did was to go to Microsoft to download a bunch of updates as it had been on dial until it was impossible to download everything that she needed (she had not kept with it but also rarely used the computer to get on the net so it was not that big a deal).  All XP downloaded approximately 77 updates and after a while successfully installed all of them.  He then restarted and soon after started incredibly slow operation.

  Because it runs more slowly now that when she was on the dial upwards, she is ready to get rid of its highspeed which I said.  I think that one or more of 77 more updates, I installed may have done something.  Also his internet browser now looks like my laptop (Acer with Vista and IE 9) so I think that maybe his version of XP and IE do not play nice with them.  Finally something told me she had a Trojan horse, and some adware that I used Lavasoft to get rid of and their last free version is installed with moy.

• Mid 2011 Mac Mini running slow/a lot of balloons of beach/HDD to research and writing

  I have a Mid 2011 Mac Mini, which runs slower than a snail's pace.  I frequently get beach balls as I type this message.  Startup time is very long, and the hard drive is often written / search/access for several minutes at random throughout the day.

  This seemed to start after I have updated to El Capitan 10.11.6.  I decided a few weeks to reinstall OS X without doing a thorough cleaning.  It did not help the situation, so I then proceeded to install the latest beta of Mac OS 10.12 to see if that helped.  Nope.  I don't think I have a bad hard drive, either.
