• How to move photos all photos and remove iPhoto and Aperture libraries?

  How can I move all the my iPhoto and Aperture photos to Photos and remove iPhoto and Aperture libraries?  Photos automatically links to the old library on migration to save space with two libraries.

  As a related issue, there don't seem to be anyway to determine if a picture is stored when viewing Photos.  Incredibly frustrating when there are duplicates because how do you know who I should delete?

  No - nothing is connected - once you migrate a library it is independent and did no link to the original library - you can remove it if yo want

  However the removal of the original library will save the little space and is not repeated because it uses hard links to the original and previews so the new library uses little extra space

  As duplicates - what difference does make? They are duplicates so delete an and smells like another - even - you do not have any what visibility of the underlying files (and do not need to do this) in pictures

  Pictures is a new program and this is a learning curve - and is not a professional software like Aperture, so it is not expected at all what Aperture is - is better than iPhoto and get closer to the opening, but I doubt it will ever open

• Multimedia shared problems - computers do not see each and other libraries

  I have 3 computers: 1 computer that runs Windows 7 and WMP 12, 2 computers that are running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition and WMP 11 and 3 computer runs also Windows Vista Ultimate Edition and WMP 11.  I have installed all Windows updates.

  The problem is that the computer 2 and 3 computer can not see each and other libraries, but both can see computer library 1.  Computer 1 can see the libraries computer both 2 and 3 of the computer.

  All three computers are in the same workgroup.  They are connected with the same username (without password).  Sharing multimedia files are allowed between all computers (and, in fact, the media sharing dialog box shows computer 2 when the 3 computer and vice versa).  On the Vista machines I have the network discovery, file sharing, public folder sharing, and media sharing on.

  What Miss me?  Clues?

• Windows 8 closed images and document libraries.

  When you try to import photos in the usual manner of phone/camera, message saying me "Sorry there is a problem..."

  In addition, when you try to access the Photo and Document libraries, Windows tells me that libraries are no longer works.

  Followed instructions to restore the default library - did not work.

  Until you try to restore the libraries by default, delete them all everything first (right click and delete).  Then try to restore again and it should work just fine.

• Migration assistant will consolidate iPhoto and photo libraries

  I just bought an iMac "towards the end of 2015" to replace my iMac 2011. I'm a Mac (MacBook Pro and iMac) user since 2005 and I am aware of the installation of the Migration Wizard when you first install a new Mac. However, for some reason, I have an iphotos library and a library of photos. Can anyone tell if migration assistant will consolidate in a single library or I have to do (manually?) before migration?

  iMovie is now only opens on my iMac 2011 (part of the reason why I bought a new iMac). There are projects that must still be finalized that it contains. Speculation as to whether the data migration is likely to result in my getting access to these existing projects? Worst case scenario would be that everything that is corrupt iMovie on my current iMac is transferred to the new machine. My guess is that what stop imovie to open 2011 on the iMac is not related to the data that make up the project, so that when I migrate to the new machine, I go back to my projects. Can anyone confirm this?

  Last question (base); What are the recommendations for what should be my time machine drive? I currently have 1 Tb internal, more an external of 2 to 3 TB of disk. With the new machine equipped with connectivity Thunderbolt that I will be in the market for a new external hard drive. because the new machine has 2 TB drive internal pot and am looking to get a disc hard thunderbolt of 3 - 4Tb, should I still 5-6 to time machine as backup (assuming I get nearby using all available space my on my internal and external drive)?

  No, it won't merge.

  Using both programs such as libraries have different content that needs merging? When Photos import iPhoto library, it creates hard links to files, not copy, so they do not all the disk space.

  I can't respond to the #2.

  Your our backup drive should be two to three times the amount of data to back up.

  I couldn't find any reference to these classes in the upgrade document. Indications will be useful.

  These classes have not been removed to 10.3, you're env probably just isn't correct.

  My company is trying to determine how best to organize and share our common code. We use subVersion. We have several important programs that are deployed on different machines, some of which are running older versions of labview. I read a lot of documents on how to share the code, but I still don't know if it makes sense to use the project libraries to organize the code which will be shared by several projects. Another option is the package build. Can someone comment on the advantages and disadvantages? Thank you.

  Because you use several versions of LabVIEW, go with the packages.

  The project libraries are stored in a specific version of LabVIEW.  So if someone registers in 2014, you can't use it in 2013.

  If you use packet, then you have a core library that is 'installed' for a specific version of LabVIEW.  Each version of LabVIEW can have its own installation of this package.

• JavaFX 2.0 crushed after the installation of the Netbeans 7.4 new and old projects imported into it.

  Hey there. I installed a new version of Netbeans and he asked me to import files, resources, etc. from the old version, so I agreed. However, when I open the old version that I realized all JavaFX projects contained errors. Then I open the properties of the project-> libraries section, it says broken reference: javafx.classpath.extension in the compile tab. I don't know why I'm dealing with this error, but I guess the reason is that I installed the latest version of Java with the new Netbeans import process caused what is happening. • Linking projects with their event in iMovie 10.1

  I have an iMac OS x 10.11.2 and using iMovie 10.1.

  In my library of events, I have the list of events and in the projects window, I can see all the projects.

  But I can't link a project specific to the event.

  Before when I had a posted event, if I scrolled to the top of this event related projects were visible.

  Now when I scroll to the top of an event, the projects I made that relate to this project are not visible.

  How can I define which projects come from what event?

  Apple changed 10.1 quite dramatically.  Projects is no longer resident in events, but now there are sectoralcurrently.  (In the package of the library that they are now in separate folders with subfolders in the folders of the event).  After a few game, I found the following-

  A project can use clips for any event in the library (as before).  However, there is a new category - clips stored in a project.  If you drag and drop an item in a project timeline or import a video clip for "Media project" the clip will not go in any event, but will be linked to the project (and deleted if the project is deleted).

  The 'MEDIA PROJECT' in the libraries pane displays all the media used in the currently loaded project - events, a new item stored locally in the project and other libraries of the application (iTunes etc.).

• Source Distribution packaged vs project library

  I design my architecture for a project, and I want to use plugins for future expansion. Most of the information I found recommended the use of baskets library project for each plugin. But once in a while I find someone who is recommended to use the source distribution. I intend on creating this software to end users who do not have a development environment and who are not able to modify the code.

  So, I have a few questions.

  1. What is the difference between the source distribution and the project libraries packaged?
  
  
  2. What are the benefits of one over the other for plugins?

  Source distribution contains the source. It allows the end-user upgrade from the source of their version of LabVIEW (envinroment development only) since the source is dependent on version, and if the files are saved with the code were met, they can work in an envinroment of execution to the version of LabVIEW they were last updated in. However, the distributions of this nature seem to have several files to deploy. One of the main reasons to prefer this method is due to complications of "chaining" library dependencies of project packaed which we are stuck with until NEITHER arrives with a type of 'solution' for the control of this.

  The project packaged libraries are built (compatible execution) which do not require the environment and are generally single-file development which makes them easier to deploy. However, they are built to a specific version of LabVIEW. One of the main reasons for choosing this method is version control (files have version information) as well as ease of deployment (single file).

  At the end of the day it depends a lot on your end user in my opinion. Management of multiple files is a pain of a source distribution point but then so is chaining builds for libraries in the project packed and the problems of name-spacing inevitable that comes with it. Managing dependencies is never easy, and there is no easy fix for this solution in LabVIEW.

  I need help. I created a project that consists of two parts. The host to run on a Standard PC (HMI display...), that the second part is working on a controller PXI (RT) linked to an Ethercat 9144. I have my project debugging and everything works perfectly, I am able to read variable Ethercat of host, send data to the RT using shared variables...

  To complete my project, I wanted to create an exe for the RT. This is the beginning of my problems. I built the executable, set it as start and deploy the exe to the target. After rebotting target, I started the application on the host... Now, it is impossible to read Ethercat variables and variable shared. If I try to set up the shared variable or the Ethercat for the project, it stops the executable that runs on the target...

  I have not found any documents that describe how to deploy variable Ethercat in an executable... Does anyone have an idea about this problem? any suggestion is welcome...

  When running a windows project, libraries RT SV are usually defined to deploy automatically when the application of the RT is deployed.  Also you can manually deploy libraries SV yourself project.

  Once a SV belonging is deployed on an RT target that it will stay there until eliminated.  You can verify your deployment with Distributed System Manager (DSM) If you see it then you're good.

  Your RT exe cannot deploy its own libraries, they should be deployed in advance.  In addition, you should be able to use the DSM to see the IOV engine on the 9144 chassis analysis even if your RT application is not running.  Check this first.  Also check the on your target RT .alias file to make sure it has the appropriate IP addresses to resolve any URL NSV.
