  Our users IOM are automatically provisioned to OID using OID box connector. Everything works well except this issue.
  
  When the value of "User login" IOM contains the character (called BILLY. (BOB), the dn entry in OID is created with an escape character (dn: uid = BILLY\.) BOB, cn is users, dc = abc, dc = com).
  
  Example:
  'User Login' IOM = BILLY. BOB

  OID entry created as
  DN: uid is BILLY\. BOB, cn is users, dc = abc, dc = com

  You must remove. in the definition of research, which comes with STANDARD connector.

  On the EBS, system we want to configure SSO and the DIO, I found a Note 376811.1 for the configuration document, after reading this note, I have some questions jounror on configure SSO and the OID:
  1. when configure you SSO and OID, we first need to install an oracle application server?
  2. After you configure SSO and OID, what is the advantage for the EBS system?
  3. What is SSO and OID?
  4. After you have configured the SS and the DIO, how intergrate the EBS system with windows Active Directory?

• IOM Provisioning - OID Create User fails with a weird error

  I have the auto layout installation service using access policies, the user is to created in IOM, then he's trying to delivery to the OID.
  
  I get the following error while trying to create the user in the OID. The "Create a user" task is rejected status with the error "Could not create user".

  I would recommend to sniff the connection (http://iamreflections.blogspot.com/2010/08/how-i-learned-to-stop-worring-and-love.html) or decompile the connector.

  Hi Experts,
  Account OID provisions of configuration in one box only; now, the configurations changed in production we have two boxes OID; I need to change the configuration of the IOM to layout/disable-provision for two boxes;
  If I add another resource; Resource object, the form of course; It will work, but is the way are a way simple with the form as a single process; one resource object and two IT resources?

  You must do it manually. Just change the old object across reference and assign new.

  Whenever I pass by this i get frustrated and end up making the entire process again. I'm on windows.

  I am trying to add a new device, which is exactly the process of adding another device? I already have 1 work of the device.

  Once you have added a new device, access the provisioning Profiles list, select the one you are using, and then select Edit. There, you will see the devices that you have added to your account. Click on the box in front of the devices you want to this configuration file to work for and then submit.

  You are redirected to the list once again and that you have changed as a watch is not ready yet, but you can do a reload of the page immediately and then should appear the download button. Download it and replace the old, with the same name. Then you should be able to simply publish the API file, and the new version of the configuration file will be used.

• API to use to disable a user account for the OID?

  Someone can you please tell me which API and what method can I use to turn off an external user account? or is there a way that I can trigger the process task "Disable User" present in the definition of the 'OID User' process via JAVA coding.
  
  My main goal is to disable a user account after 90 days of inactivity. So, if the user has not connected to OID via OAM until the last 90 days; I need raise an event 'Disable User' - that happen to her. For that I think a planning custom task using the user account to disable the API/method of writing?

  If you call api tcUserOperationsIntf:disableAppForUser(long_plUserKey,_long_plObjectInstanceForUserKey)
  plUserKey = user key
  plObjectInstanceForUserKey = specifies the provisioned (OID user) resource key
  It will trigger the task 'deactivate user '.

• Satellite Pro U500 - no backlit keyboard to the United Kingdom

  I bought a few HPs for my staff and they have gray keyboard lettering that i cant get on with so I thought I would buy an another Tosh. Chose the U500-18 t and surprises - gray lettering.

  Then, I find that she is supposed to have backlit kb. The UK version has the same design of Ko in the rest of the world, but not backlight - unreadable result on something else as a well-lit room. They did not bother to put the white lettering. Cheap or what. Then I called Tosh to buy a new KB and they were quite contrite.
  So I ordered a Ko of replacement of the United States. I'm pretty happy with the American provision. Question - this is going to work?
  Fn - Z key will still work. The KB is same go to work? Can anyone help?

  In this case, I would usually throw in an "overlay" object, so it appears above the element in question (a simple way is to use a DockLayout and make sure the second element is defined after the first element, resulting in a higher position in the Z-order) in layers.   I just launched a new website for an insurance company and immediately saw a problem in a series of pages, I was check with Safari (webkit). To verify that the site Web launched and that people can start seeing, I loaded it in Google Chrome.

  Huh. Normally they should make about the same because they use the same good rendering engine that Chrome might use the last engine Webkit built in comparison to Safari. I noticed that the server returns a "404" error number - basically the superfish - left.css is missing as well as the jQuery.tweet.css.

  In any case, if the missing CSS files are not the culprit, it seems that the biggest problem is the

  -in Safari it becomes hidden by browsing in Chrome, it is pushed to the right of the net asset value and causes the provision in question you see. Maybe try to put soemthing between the NAV and the

  Help!  I am a user of Xcode newbie. Just signed up for a developer account (free version added to my existing Apple ID).   I followed a tutorial to make a few changes to the Apple TV 4. In the tutorials that seem very useful do not have additional info for potential problems as those I seem to face at every turn. As far as google can be useful, it can also be a time suck empty soul.  I have a life to live then all help to speed up the answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated.

  -Launch Xcode → click on create a new project in Xcode → select Application under tvOS → Application unique view, and then click Next. Fact

  - In the product name field, enter a unique name such as KodiAppleTVforYourNameHere (done, but I have a problem I can not find the answer to...), and then click Next → create

  The 'organization' identifier is empty and I do not know what to enter and the tutorial says nothing...

  I get a "no provisioning profiles found.

  When you click on "solving the problem", I get a pop up saying "no device - create a profile doesn't require" fitted with a registered in space subscribers.

  

  Then I went to the Member Center and can not find the place where to save a device... nor can I find detailed (for a novice like me) instructions on how to do it.  I tried to follow these instructions, but had problems as shown below.

  1. go to Developer.apple.com...

  2. go in the "Member Center". (This is not an option that I see...)

  

  3. go in "Certificates, identifiers & profiles." (Went straight to this...)

  4 Select "Devices" on the left navigation. (nowhere to be found... and am stuck here...)

  

  .... 5. click on the sign "+" to add a device.

  .... 6. enter a name for the device and the UDID.

  .... 7. at the bottom of the page, select continue when you are finished.

  .... 8. at the bottom of the page, choose "Save" to save the new device. Repeat these steps to add up to 100 devices on a regular account.

  These steps seem easy enough, but I continue to find myself in a position that some things I should do just are not there... like the devices section not found in the center of development Member?

• Question about thin provisioned disks

  I did some searching but can't find specific answers, I need and I apologize in advance if these questions are public knowledge. I know also my setup is very small compared to most houses VMWare normally using these forums, but we are moving slowly in the 2nd Decade of the 21st century (or try).

  I have a new install ESXi 5 and move during one ESX3 host that has about a dozen of VMs on it.  I recently built vCenter host servers and my future view connection server.  I'm kind to vCenter again as my previous installation of ESX 3 was a single server and us were not investing in the vCenter at the time option (missed a lot of features and ease of upgrade during this transition, but 20/20 declining).  I'm a little green in using vCenter so take pitty on my ignorance.

  It's more time than I wanted to and I just want to know the best way to change these 2 servers (recently built and configured systems Win 2008 R2) to thin provisioned disks.  I need to keep all the storage space I can and beyond the obvious problem of being able to provide more space than you physically, I have no problem to do so (in addition to get them changed).  If there are negatives I'm missing, please report them to me.  The possiblities that I see are:

  The clone and thin provision then delete the originals.

  Use the stand-alone converter on them (from above).

  Completely rebuild thin provisioned with disks.

  If someone can give me a quick list of possible problems and pitfalls for these opportunities or to get to a better suggestion, please do so and thanks in advance.

  Since you have storage vMotion the clone or standalone VMware converter are both viable options.   Not sure about the disadvantages of these options.

  You didn't say what kind of server it is, but I'm always careful about the cloning of the domain controllers.   Without the option for storage vmotion I rebuild a DC from scratch.

  I have a question about a provisioning.  It seems that we have a debate about our team on the issue of whether we should use it as a policy.

  We have a cluster 2 ESX 4.0 and ESX 3.5 environment all connected to EMC via NFS storage.

  What should concern us, is there on the virtual computer performance problems if the storage starts to develop?  Should do us as a global policy or a policy according to the needs?  Can someone shed some light on this?

  Hello.

  The biggest concern with a provisioning is that you have to manage it.  It is still something to keep an eye on.  Implementation of the alarms is the key, if you have vCenter.  For the workloads highest performance, there will be some additional latencies involved.  The thin disks will not work with VMware FT either.

• Question of thin provision

  I'm new to ESXi so I hope that this question has not been answered before but I couldn't find anything about it.  I have a box of ESXi 4 with some VMS with placed disks in service purposes.  When I look into the virtual computers tab of the used space on some of them is presented as a couple KB.  I know it must be less than the space put into service and that's the whole idea of Thin Provisioning, but this tab does not appear to take into account what the VM actually uses, because it appears only a few KB.  What is the problem?
