  Is it possible to give read access for planning through HSS applications? similar to 'Read' access to essbase applications? I m in 11.1.2.1 and commissioning Options, we are Analytic Services write, Cube creator, Director, interactive user access, manage models, distribution of mass, Planner, Provisioning Manager, user of the view. Single user view sounds just for read access I need. If I select a read access, it seems that I need to give access to all forms, dimensions (members) access in reading in every app plannign etc...   I had configured Calculation Manager in hyperion 11.1.2. I logged in the workspace and select the calculation Manager * [workspace-> Navigator - > manage-> calculation Manager]. * through the these selections, I view system Wizard, because when I tried to extend the planning on the name tab, I am unable to find any planning application.
  
  Note: I have already created two planning applications.

  1. go to Shared Services in the original application. Take the Group of application corresponding to your request. Then, open the Types/Calc Plan Manager rules. Right click on the rule that you want to export, and then save the file. The exported rule should produce an XML file.

  2 return to Calc Manager and access the application target/rules and then to the right, click Import. Select the previously exported file.

  3. after importation, deploy the rule.

• EPMA planning application migration: no synchronization with the provisioning of users

  We are migrating Production applications to dev. We have a planning EPMA and Essbase application in both environments.
  We migrated artifacts in the file system in PROD (Shared services, EPMA, planning, Essbase) and Reporting. We have copied and pasted into the folder what in DEV.
  Then, we try to migrate objects in DEV file system applications. First of all we did successfully EPMA artifacts in the migration status report, and then we deployed the application in the planning without any error. (msg showing as synchronized deployment). After that we had shared services, it is not
  MSG for error report status of migration:

  I have restored the database and migrated artifacts using LCM. a method is enough to make the migration of Planning (from Support of Oracle) applications

• Use of the provision of a user as a user of view wrt a planning application

  Hi all
  
  I use EMP 11.1.1.1.0 and you have created a planning application. I'm trying to set up users and groups now. I gave a user the proviison of 'User Mode' under my planning coz application, the user is supposed to be a leader who would just be able to see the data forms and not do much thing on the app.
  
  But I am not able to connect to the planning application with just the provision of 'User Mode' and I get the following error:
  
  "Cannot synchronize with the Provisioning of users. Check the logs for more details".
  
  Can some body plesae help me with this?

  Access to the server would do? Or I have to give something else?
  
  Requirement is tht the user should be able to retrieve and send data via Smartview.

  You need access to the user with access to the server - this will give the user the possibility to connect to the Essbase server in Smart View only. The user sees all the applications listed.

  Then implement the user as write on each application that you want to see them and to present data.

  You have assigned access of shared services through the option "assign access controls? You can see this option if you right-click on the Application in the Shared Services (should be under EssbaseCluster-1)

  There is a problem in prod and dev, it's nothing of the application are visible in the workspace-> Navigate-> Applications-> planning for normal users, admin user can check all applications in building and planning.

  If the administrator account can connect through the workspace should be check the provision of Shared Services, if you use a control AD there is no problem with connectivity, check the logs.

  Dear gurus,
  In the planning environment that I work there are more than two applications and a few essbase cubes. I wonder to change access from one of the access of users to read, write planning. In this case, do I need to change the access of the user to read, to write on each form data? or y at - it an easier way to change the user access? I mean, is there a way of planning or HSS where I can change the access of the user to read write for all forms of data at once?

• Not able to see the Administration tab for Admin users to one of the Planning Application.

  We use the Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2 and when I connexiona one of the planning application, I'm not able to see the Administration however when I connexiona other applications I see the administration tab.

  "" What I did is that I created a test user in the native directory services shared and implemented the "interactive user" role of the application. When I logged in one application, I don't see the administration tab however when I logged into another application, I can see the administration tab.

  can someone help me solve this problem.
