• The computer hangs during startup until after latest upgrade of Windows 7

  My new Dell has a little less than 3 months and so far has worked like a dream. It runs Windows 7. The latest Windows updates, which there were 3 were installed as I stopped last night. When I booted the pc this morning he hooked up with the following message: "Operation Applying 51 51 (\Registry\Machine\Components\...) update".

  The pc reacts more than anything, so finally, I manually turned off and restarted. The system returns to a previous Restore Point.   Today, SOUL CC suddenly started crashing on the laundry. It was fine last week, which made me suspect an update, but no updates Windows Update had taken place since that time.

  Seems like it was a corrupted preferences file. I deleted everything here: AppData%\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder\7.0 that seemed to fix it.

  Dang.  It seems that we can still see some systems experiencing this problem.  I'll send your log to crash to the engineer to research into this issue, but in the meantime, I don't think 2 or 3 of http://helpx.adobe.com/audition/kb/audition-cs6-crashes-launch.html will solve the problem and allow the hearing to start.

  The problem seems to be some system fonts getting replaced at a given moment, in the past by another application, for example, office but some metadata about the police being not updated that invokes a problem with our library of graphics acceleration.  It is still not clear why this is a problem because the problem often resolves after uninstalling and reinstalling the offending police.

  My good-condition, end 2012, 15 "MacBook Pro under OS X 10.11.4 is ill. There are two apparently distinct questions:

  The reason why the boot in Recovery mode does not work maybe because there is no recovery disk partition. When you start while the possibility to select the startup disk, there are only two options: Macintosh HD and BOOTCAMP. Recovery disc or something similar is also meant to appear?

  Firefox seems to operate normally if a version 21 installation, which opens toward the top of the browser window. Everything works fine, until I got close the browser and then reopen it.

  Just out of curiosity, this behavior (suspended the launch after a Windows Update) would be a registry problem? If so how could we check?

  (3) after the tests and re-Assembly of the HARD disk in the 2140CDS, the system would produce the same hang up to the 'office loading phase.

  (4) a new drive was purchased, external formatted in FAT32 and when trying to install Windows 98SE, installation hang just after the initial system tests and reading the HARD disk capacity (the phrase "Windows Setup requires 7340032 bytes availalable your sys ' is usually interrupted like this, or just after the word"available").

  (5) using a BACK boot disk with CD-ROM support appears to be stable, but the number and type of operations performed from the disk of the book were not many or too complex.

  (5) when disconnection occurs, the only way to restart is through the reset button or the button stop (Ctr Alt Del does not work). The CD Rom drive stops responding also (door does not open).

  (6) thinking about the possibility of a corrupted BIOS Advanced Power Managent or damage, I flashed the BIOS with the 'CHGBIOSA' of the Toshiba utility (same version that it has been installed in the laptop computer: ACPI BIOS version 7.50), but the problem persisted.

  As you can see, I ask for advice, because there have been quite some "basic stuff" I tried already, and as my "repertoire" of tips ends, I have no option then to ask your advice.

  You connect with a user or did the Windows boot directly on the desktop at boot?

  When you work with users, try to log on as another user and wait for what takes place? If you have no installed user profiles, try Safe Mode and create a new one!

  When safe mode or another user is connected and the office is responsible, the maintenance needs to be done.
