  I've been a PC user all through, and today we opened the present family - a new iMac. I'm trying to set it up today, including being able to administer the wireless router.  I bought the router in January 2014, on the back it says it's model E1200 v2.  However, today, I tried to download the Cisco Connect software (for version 2), the message was that the V2 software, I downloaded was compatible with: MAC OS X 10.5.8 or later, MAC OS X 10.6.1 or later or MAC OS X 10.7 or higher.

  In the list of the "minimum requirements of OS' with a lower number (10.5.x, 10.6.x, 10.7.x), if she mentions not even Mac OS 10.9.x, it means he would be ever compatible?  Alternatively, as 10.9.x is a number larger than the other, this means that it exceeds the minimum requirements and I should be fine?

  My friends at Apple told me that my new wireless router work with my new iMac.   You should be able to configure the router using a web browser such as Safari or FF or Mac and connect to the web page of routers to 192.168.1.1...

  I have documents of analysis of problems in my macbook pro using OSX 10.10.1.  I downloaded the software and as a first step, I couldn't even open the packet of data.  When I did it said it was for Mountain Lion OSX 10 system.  The printer can print documents from the office, but n repeatedly fail to scan documents on the desktop.  My question is why isn't the pilot to date?  I'm very disappointed because I had good experiences with HP in th epast so far.  I have contacted the customer service several times in the past two months, but have received no answers.  Anyone els have this problem.

  Thanks for your patience, looks that HP Scan 3 crashes when operating on Yosemite.

  Can we try to download the driver for another product package and install the HP scanner by the same. As we do not have a separate dmg file for HP Scan,

  I currently use PSE 6 to organize my photos and CS3 to process them.  I am considering the acquisition of LR 2.  I have about 25 000 files (pictures) organized in PES 6.  LR 2 will allow me to use (is this compatible?) existing tags to orgainization assigned in PES 6 and combine with the new tags I use LR 2?  If this is not the case, should I use just PSE 6 for find files older, or is there a better way?

  You can import the PSE catalog in Lightroom and it supports PSE tags, but the extent of this support may not be everything that you need or desire. I suggest that you download the Lr 2.3 update and run it in 30-day trial mode http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

• I have a Wacom Intuos 3 and Photoshop CS6 with OSX Yosemite. I installed the plugin 'Whitewindow' but the browser panel still takes on a life of its own every so often - zoom in and zoom out. Any help would be appreciated.

  I got a new GPS unit with built in front in front of the camera for Christmas - the NavMan MIVUEDRIVE LM

  In the box, it says it's compatible with osx 10.6 and higher - NavDesk (it is for the software needed to access the features and download maps, etc.),

  in order to have a new macbook pro with El Captain 10.11.2 installed, I thought it's above 10.6 - but no!  When I called I was told it is not compatible with the El captain and they are working on software that will be available before the end of February or March but would not guarantee, this would be the case and could take more time.

  In addition to being furious that the development of a mac to work with their products interface was obviously not high on their radar, but surely they would have been given access to coding etc needed well before El captain had even published us - passionate Mac users.

  This is the case, or is an international company, the size of the NavMan have play still catch up six months after the release of a new osx?

  Apple makes updates available to developers months before publication so that the developers can work to make their products compatible with the new OS. Some developers are more Rapids and/or care more than others - it is totally up to them.

  I understand that you sweep problems after upgrade to 10.10.

  I would like to help.

  I would like to uninstall the HP software.

  Then, just to be safe, I check and repair disk permissions.

  Redo the Apple updates.

  Reboot/restart the Mac.

  Install the software again.

  I'm trying to download applications from creative cloud Manager. No applications are emerging that I just get a blue spinning wheel. They update very well on my laptop that have both are updated with osx yosemite.

  I went on the Adobe support site and did a chat session with one of their technicians, they guided me through deleting some files on the system that prevented loading apps.  Sorry, too much detailed steps for me relay for you here, but they have had me up and running in 30 minutes.
