• TDMS Excel Add-in does not limit new line Excel 2007 support

  First stop, I want to say that format TDM/PTM is really useful. It allows you to perform all sorts of things that would be a real pain if you've tried to do with spreadsheets, delimited by tabs. You can format data in spreadsheets excel for analysis with separate tabs and the names of channel on the columns and the whole nine yards. You can even throw error messages in the properties that appear on the first tab.

  The problem occurs when the user works with very large files. Excel 2003 and earlier versions of Excel have limits of 65 536 rows by 256 columns. Until the latest version of the Excel Add-in, CT if you tried to import files in addition to this he would lift an error and does not create any file at all. It is important now to a file and that you specify the index, which is so much better.

  Excel 2007 supports 1 048 576 lines by 16 384 columns! This is really useful. But the current version of the TDM Excel Add-In does not support the limit of the new line.   My client would like to file long record time at 200 Hz throughout the day. Lines of data per file is 720 000. Yes, that's a lot, but excel takes care of everything. The importer TDMS impossible. Of course there are workarounds and we will have to use one if a new version of the Add - in Excel TDM will not soon made. Y at - it a new version coming soon? Please say Yes.

  Mystery solved. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the add-in, do the same thing on a computer to co-workers and to come with the same limited import I scratch my head a bit. It turns out that my network administrators put all suites MS Office in the entire company to operate in 'compatibility' default Mode, so they would save default 2003 versions. When Excel is running in compatibility mode and the user tries to import large tdms, the behavior I described occurs.

  I really appreciate your help guys. This is the supplement at all.

• Classic connection Add-In does not work - db selection did not get recognized.

  Hi all

  With my client, many users work with the classic Essbase Add-In on their computers. The Add-In is distributed and installed with a software package. Out of these facilities, a machine makes problems. Excel version 2010 begins and the Addin too. Then under Add-Ins > Essbase > Connect the login window appears. The user name and password are given and OK button. See a list of Applications and databases. When a database is selected and you press the OK button, the selection changes to the database at the top of the page and the window does not disappear.

  This also happens with another user that can run on a different machine (so no access rights).

  The Add-in is turned off and on again. Problem stays.

  All other add-ins are disabled. Problem stays.

  Anyone seen elsewhere or have a suggestion?

  Saw this problem occurs when there is a space at the end of the name of the server, for example

  "my.essbase.server" (the quotation marks to highlight where space is) caused the behavior that you describe.  We found that some microsoft products copy happily a space at the end when copy and pasted from outlook or word or etc... So we always adovate by manually typing in the name of the server

  Mady, I hope that you were not trying to open the supplements directly from Windows. The XLL Essbase XLA work in Excel like Add-Ins, and not as executable files. When I double-clicked the XLL and XLA, I got the Microsoft Security warning, which I assume is what you were doing wrong. You can also google Excel add-ins on the way to handle it if you don't know what to do. It is very simple.

• Windows 7 - Add printer does not work

  I recently tried to install a new printer on a laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate.  After trying this, I can no longer add a new printer or print to my existing printers.  If I try to add a new printer, a message appears saying:

  Cannot install the printer.  The print processor does not exist.

  If I try to print to an existing printer, the computer claims that the printer does not exist.  Is it a good way to "reset" the Windows printing subsystem?  I'm really at my intelligence end with this question and don't want to be forced to reinstall Windows to correct this problem.

  I checked the Windows spooler service and it is running and doesn't seem to be generating errors in the event viewer.  I also met some previous posts that said you may be able to install a new printer with a generic driver first and then change it, but it does not.  Eventually a recommendation on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

  (a) what is the brand of your printer that you are trying to install?
   
  (b) you are trying to connect the printer to a network?
   
  Use your administrator account to install the printer and print.
  
  If this does not help, temporarily disable all security software and then try to install the printer and print from the printer, follow the steps mentioned below

  Note: Allow all security software after you perform the troubleshooting steps.

  Notice the part I put in bold. I deleted this code and the Add button works now!

  I have no idea how that got there except to say that last year the company had a trainee development this application and I'm only guessing that it is a bad copy and paste somewhere when he put in the link to download the documentation for the application.

• Workflow "Add organization" does not return a vCLOUD:Organization object

  I just started to work with Orchestrator and meet some disappoint the situation.

  When I use standard workflows 'Add an organization' (version 0.0.43) everything works well and the organization is created, but on the next step I receive no vCloud:Organization object.

  I have reproduced this standard workflow and add two lines for debugging in the last element «back organization»

  So now it has 3 rows:

  org = adminOrg.toUserObject ();

  Server.Log (org);

  System.Log (org);

  Now, if I run this double created workflow organization and I got this error:

  TypeError: Cannot find the default value for the object (Workflow: test_add_org / back Organization (item3) #1).

  Also I see tab Variables variable adminOrg is "Not found" and variable org is "undefined".

  I really want to learn how to use orchestrator and I hope that the community will help me learn how to debug these problematic situations.

  I realized that was a mistake. That the error on the url of the api.

  You may be able to get AA 9 to run with Win 8 (although not supported by Adobe). However, Office 2013, you will need to have Acrobat (updated) XI to get the PDF Maker (Acrobat menu). If you have succeeded with the AA 9 installation, you should be able to print to the Adobe PDF printer.

  Solved my problem. IE9 should work in compatibility mode.

When I touch long press N for all above models of the pause character p is displayed. For 9900 is not displayed. If I copy a contact break character in this area is the work.
