  If you have already performed the steps I mentioned above and you still have questions, then there may be a few steps, you can try to get this to work for you.

  1. find the IP address of the printer by pressing the icon wireless from the front panel of the printer.

  2. open a browser on your computer that is connected to the same network as the printer. Type the IP address of the printer in the address bar of the browser. (for example http://192.168.1.5)

  3. Once you are in the Web page with the printers settings, click on the tab 'network '.

  4. on the left side of the page, click network address (IP) under the title of networking.

  5. click the button next to manual IP radio and then click on the button 'Suggest a Manual IP address' to have the system assign a manual IP address.

  6. in the manual DNS server boxes, type the following:

  Manual preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8

  Auxiliary manual DNS server: 8.8.4.4

  7. press the button apply to save these changes

  Once you have saved the manual IP settings you should feed the cycle of the printer by unplugging the power cord from the printer, leaving unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Once connected to the printer should automatically turn on.

  After that the printer is turned back try to enable Web Services again and see if it will connect you.

  The question; in our environment vSphere 5, we use a dvSwitch on a cluster of servers... sometimes the hosts are running out of ports on the switch proxy DVS.  By default it 256 ports so I would increase it (for example 1024 or similar).
  I can ask the host object and determine the property of numPorts & maxPorts:

  So far so good.   According to the literature (assumption: I interpret it correctly) if I set configNumPorts to HostProxySwitch property to a different value, it will change the number of ports DVS proxy after a restart of the host.   I tried this and it didn't work.
  Maybe I need to call a method any to apply the change to the switch proxy on the host computer? Or am I headed in the wrong direction?

  I had a look, but it seems that there is no documented method to change the value of a proxyswitch MaxPort.

  I'm trying to change a netopia router in Bridge mode and put a UTM5 behind the bridge newly netopia.

  I see in the netopia there are several IP cards that take some of the assigned public addresses and direct them to addresses internal ip. I need to know if this is possible on the UTM5. I added the other public IP addresses on the Wan as well as the default.

  I need to do the following (example used IPs):

  64.129.001.001--> 192.168.1.151
  64.219.001.002--> 192.168.1.152
  64.219.001.003--> 192.168.1.153
  etc...

  From what I see and read, when the Netopia is placed in bridge mode, it erases all the Routing and IPMaps out unfortunately, so why I think that the UTM5 should do the mapping.

  Granted I'm not very familiar with the characteristics of the Netopia and this is an old old installation. Just buying some time before the line is replaced by a more stable connection.

  Looks like that the Netopia is mapped correctly because I deleted an IPMap of the device and address was still ping successfully at least, so I set myself follows her and hope that it works:

  

• Console Proxy doesn't work is not behind the edge load balancer

  I have a strange problem. I set up a load balancer with vShield Edge. Behind the load balancer, I have two cells vCloud. The Web interface works very well for users, but trying to connect a VMRC to view remote screen it displays 'connection' and then the session is disconnected.

  Then I stop the first cell and users can establish a VMRC connection again. When I activate the first cell once again, the web interface continues to work, but not the proxy of the console. Then I stop the second cell and now elements of the console working again.

  Any tips?

  Have a similar setup and had the same problem.  Two things to check.  Go to c:\users\\appdata\local\temp\vmware- and open the last file vmware-vmrc - xxxx.log.  Towards the end, it should tell you why it's a failure.  For me, it was a conflict of thumbprint SSL, dating back to the different SSL certificates on the cells.  Also, be sure to vCloud Director Administration-Public address you have the right audiences VCD console address specified. To resolve the inconsistency of my mark, I just created a file certificates.ks a cell and then copied on the other cell and reran the script configures.  Good luck with VMware to help.  I opened a folder for this issue 6 days ago and have yet to get any help!

  There is another option to put in a custom DNS server. The integrated Web server for this model may be slightly different, but the following steps apply for all HP printers.

  The two airports 'extension'... the AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express... are in Bridge Mode when they "extend a wireless network".  DHCP (the process of allocating IP addresses... is disabled when a device is in Bridge Mode... it's up to your "main" AirPort Extreme to assign all IP addresses to network devices.)

  The 'extension' airports simply pass the IP address information to connected devices... the devices 'extension' assign IP addresses themselves.

  Since the AirPort Express works correctly, it seems that the 'extension' AirPort Extreme is the culprit.  From what you have told us, it seems that if the Ethernet switch on the device is not working properly. We learn more about this unit before us to jump to conclusions.

  (1) what is a newer version of the 'tour' of the AirPort Extreme or an older version of 'flat' or 'square' to the extreme?  If it is the old version, we need the model number of the bottom of the unit.  It starts with an "A" followed four digits.

  (2) when you connect an Ethernet cable to one of the Ethernet ports to the extreme that extends, is the little green light next the port light?

  (3) what operating system you are using on the Mac or the PC that you use to configure the airports?

  The printer still uses its own mac address and default no usb device connected to the usb port router must have an IP 192.168.1.1. For example, if you connect an external HARD drive to the usb port on the router and you want to map the network drive, and then you will use the ip address of the router to map the network drive. Same thing will also go with the printer and it will have the same ip address. The printer will get its own ip address, if this is a network printer and it is connected to the ethernet port on the router.

  I want to configure my SRW248G4 switch via the console port. Unfortunately, in this option, there is no console RJ45 port entry, I don't see what port cosole resemble RS232 input. I bought two cables of the standard console cisco with one end with the db9 and one RJ45.

  Now I have and idea to put one end of a cable (db9) to switch and a second end (db9) cable in my computer (input/output COM)
