  I suggest the 'best' way to do may not be via AppleScript itself.

  AppleScript can do, but his text, the analysis is heavy, while the shell commands handle this with ease (although they are not as easy to read).

  Break the string of numbers in a table of numbers.  (Spreasheet String to Array).

  In a loop For, index with each issue of this table.  Use in the range and Coerce to see if it is in the range of numbers.  (You can put this in a loop For as auto good indexing through the ranges).  If it's in the range, then use subset replace table to activate the corresponding item in a real.  If this is not the case, do nothing.  Maintain the table of Boolean in a shift register.

  You cannot directly read a file saved in Excel format.  You must save the spreadsheet in a tab delimited text file.  And after that, there are a few minor changes that can be made to your VI to get what you want.

  You use "built the table" instead of "string concatenation".

  Since you already have a whole line of writing consisting of a single string, you must add a 'build' table if you want to use 'write in the spreadsheet file' (see image below). You must change the format by %s. It would be easier to use flat file entries, after adding a newline to the data in each row.

  What's up with all these variables? Your VI is full of conditions of competition, for example, if the program starts write you some globals at the same time you read from the same globals. Because the order of execution is not defined, the results will vary unpredictable. Use smooth wire!

  You can add strings in c in the following way:

  char str [256];

  strcpy (str, "First string");        Initialize the string to the first bit

  strcat (str, "Second string");       'Add' s bit

  strcat (str, "Third string");         You've probably got the idea now...

  Although I prefer the more general method of construction of channels:

  sprintf (str, "Third string", "Second channel", "First channel", '%s %s of %s');

  because it gives much more flexibility - see the help for the function sprintf() for a more complete description.

  So, my company has a problem that appears every now and then with the new version of Photoshop CC.

  You don't need to flatten to save BMP files.  BMP file format does not support layers so everything saves BMP Photoshop on will be a flat file.   You're much better off "dosage" with the Image Processor script or the Image Processor Pro plugin bridge or Photoshop.  Actions that you create for use with these scripts are easier to create than those you created for Photoshop batch., no able to resize or save the steps will be needed.  Scripts Photoshop has much better to name capabilities then actions and these scripts provide flexible resizing and options for your use of naming of files.  Options provided by these scripts should ba could improve on you current batch processes. These scripts are usable and the bridge from Photoshop and they are more flexible, then Photoshop batch processing.  Changing your process to use these scripts quite lot of Photoshop.
