  I am a developer of meteorological applications and worked a lot with Flash and HTML 5. Now, I'm testing the Animate thing on cloud to Adobe.

  Here's my problem:

  I try to call a txt file to my server within a composition Animate. However, I don't have the text of the response.

  In an action of a timeline of symbols, I finally placed

  sym.getComposition () .getStage () .init_myStuff ();

  I get the alert window (so there is no problem with the general idea), but without the expected text.

  Knowing that the problem is always between my ears, I appreciate any idea what the problem is.

  Piloted it drives me crazy, but finally - solved:

  It was a political matter even. Txt file is located at www.mydomain1.com and the anination is located at www.mydomain2.com. Try to call the mydomain2 mydomain1 does not work.

  When I included the txt file in the folder of www.mydomain2.com animation, everything works fine.

  So be sure to include all external files in the directory on the server of your aninamtion.

  PS: This is also the reason why an iframe added interactions were not possible in FF, Opera and IE9. After you put the HTML code of the pages on the same directory the iframe worked as expected. Like I said: the problem is always between my ears...

• Why the App Store search function does not work?

  Since the iOS most recent update (9.3.2), the app from the App Store does not work on my iPhone-iTunes app works perfectly, the App Store - space wasted on the screen and memory right now. I tried to disconnect, close the software, restart hard to my phone, but all I get when I try to search is a white screen. I can't even comment to apple in the app because it does not work. It was a time where this kind of thing never happened but the versions of software with major bugs is becoming more of a recurring theme lately. I'm really starting to wonder if Apple jumps right away even the most basic of pre-tests prior to publication just to get out a release. Frustrating to say the least.

  The search function on the App store on my phone work if something is wrong with your system. Try to reset the App Store in the following order:

  Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

  Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

• Why the YouTube widget does not work?

  I have some difficulty working with the YouTube widget. Everything worked well with her two days ago (8/18), but since yesterday it stop working. All my colleagues are facing the same thing. The test button no longer works. When you tap on all we get is a black screen with the YouTube logo on the bottom right.   A few questions for you.

  Are you an edition to the HTML5 or SWF?

  Can you confirm that the widget is the most recent version? You can do this by clicking on the blue in the Properties Panel icon when you have the widget selected in the slide.

  

  The version should be 17. If not you will have to remove the widget from your slide, then reinsert the Interactions of learning.

  Also, can you confirm for me that the YouTube URL uses the correct structure? It should be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= and not the shortened structure https://youtu.be/ .

  The difference between F11 and F12 previews is F11 shows a preview using HTML5 and present F12 to preview using the Flash. The final publication should be the same as the preview of F11, if you are publishing on HTML5, but you need to run a local web server or publish the file published on a server to ensure that everything works the same. There are a few things that are happening in the published output requiring a web server in order to display correctly.

They seem to all work fine, but if you take a look on the site businesscatalyst there is an arrow at the bottom of the Web site that, when hovered over, evokes our banner of the University. This does not work on free hosts. I asked the host about it, but they said, it must have something to do with the creation. The animation of the banner was carried out onboard animate and as you can see it works actually in html Web site, format and businesscatalyst.

  If you open your web inspector you can see the problem, the Banner_for_Websites2.png image is absent from your free hosting server. Try re downloading, hopefully that should solve.

• Serial number does not work after the transfer of OSX and apps for the new Macbook Pro

  My serial number does not work after the transfer of applications and OS X for my new Mac.  Although the Adobe specifications say it is compatible with the older OS X, it does not seem to have no compatibility issues because

  -My old Macbook Pro has Yosemite and was fully running CS5 Web premium without a problem.

  -My new computer has the same * exact * OS X transferred in which the suite was fully functional with the trial.

  - Or show how to disable the publication series on the old disk hard if I can't use the old computer?  So that I can use with the new computer?

  I chatted with technical support that keeps saying that it's a compatibility problem, to install with old OS X or buy a newer version. But I know that CS5 works with Yosemite (as I use it myself), and the only question I had is that serial # says invalid, which is separate from the functionality of the program.

  I'd rather not spend hundreds more to get a new suite, when I spent a lot for CS5 already and know is fully functional on Yosemite.  I have also not return to an older operating system and break things.

  Moreover, I used to be a general technical Support and I am a coder of web applications, so I understand that this isn't just some sort of "reboot" of the question

  No info to solve this, or a means to achieve at the highest level Tech support, would be greatly appreciated!

  Transferred apps will certainly question of activation, because licenses files creation is completely dependent on machine, it willl created according to the particular Machine ID, if you transfer the application from one computer to another, there is incompatibility.

  I have a problem with the publication of my adobe captivate project. I do softwaresimulations and so must my learning to have legends funktionality and right-click to fail. But it does not work on the PDF or SWF file. I already know that I have to go the presets and take off the easy check (sorry, I don't know what you call it in English, in German, it is "Barrierefreiheit"). If this isn't the solution. Today I did an update of captivate and when I publish it now I can open the file called "index" and then it works very well. How can I make it work when I want to publish e-Learning-course on my company Intranet Portal?

  The SWF file is not supposed to be uploaded to a server or LMS as such: when you publish to SWF you get multiple files, not only the SWF file. Click right feature is integrated into the JS-companion file. You have to start the file HTML (same name as the name of the project), which called the JS file (and possibly the file dependent on the CSS version) and then launch the SWF file. Did you follow this workflow?

  You must uncheck "Accessibility" to provide right click functionality.

• Parallax in a 2014 CC to CC files DOES not work new

  I'm still new to this and use the CC of Animate version until recently. I have a project that I started months ago and am finally getting back that I opened in the CC2014 updated. Now all my time scrolling (vertical Parallax) does NOT work. I've included dumpsters of screen of the CC and CC2014 pages. The CC2014 page has all the elements of list and the dtage box is ignored. There is no vertical action either. I also packed the two files and placed in a box of filing for the purposes of comparison. What should I do to get this working again? Thank you.

  Above the IMAGE - version CC - elements do not show outside the stadium, because they are not supposed to be visible until they come on the scene as long as the user scrolls vertically. This version works as I intended.

  Upgrading composition is fine, except that the value of 'Overflow' of the scene is set wrongly.

  Set the 'excess' of the 'visible', 'scroll', and things works perfectly then.

• Suite Wordpress plugin dashboard does not work

  The plugin Suite of edge , who says that Adobe will integrate leading edge animations with Wordpress does not work. When you try to download a bunch of animation (.oam), an error ("JS leading edge file /...edgePreload.js is not found"), and the animation is not uploaded to Wordpress. Unfortunately, it seems there is no work around to get animations animate dashboard running on Wordpress without this plugin. the plugin must be fixed as soon as POSSIBLE.

  Adobe ads say we can integrate 'seamless' animations of edge with Wordpress, but for now, it's completely false.  I know that edge is a third-party plugin, but I paid for Adobe´s service, no third party in charge.

  
  

  I work with Wordpress sites and if the plugin does not work, my subscription to Creative cloud becomes useless. I really need this plugin to work, so I can deliver my project designs to my clients.

  
  

  Please help forward this question to the right developer teams within Adobe, not just the "lonely one-man third edge Suite plugin developer guy." There probably need help for this problem. I think there is no need to remember, but just in case: Wordpress is the largest CMS in the world, the starting point for a large part of the internet sites, so it really hit me for not being able to integrate the edge animate with Wordpress.

• InDesign DPS: Simple Animation does not work in 'folio '?

  I'm building a recipe simple app using InDesign CS6, using the tools of digital publication.

  On one page, I applied an animation, "fly from bottom" in the subject.

  When I finally build the folio and view it on my ipad with the Adobe Content Viewer, the animation does not work on this page.

  I looked at a few tutorials on the use of the animation tools, how to set the path, etc. but none of them mention any other measure for the animation to work once you build the folio.

  Am I missing something?

  You want to display the content of a user variable in a text caption? Or you want to change this variable first and then display it?

• IPA-test works, ipa-app-store does not work? bug?

  before you begin, let me tell you that I have not all necessary certificates and mobileprovisions files with me. I use the command-line of AIR 3.0 (as Flash CS 5.5 cannot publish using 2.6 due to bugs). I have already created files 'ipa-test' using files appropriate - that has been verified in ipad as well.

  now I would like to download this project on the apple App I tried to create 'ipa-app-store' using the distribution certificate (converting PEM so .p12) and its mobileprovision file. He couldn't. I kept it for 1 day... temporary files were there in the publication record, and the Manager tasks, he showed that Java.exe was running. At first, I thought that the problem is with the mobileprovision and certificate of distribution of files, I removed the and recreate them, but the result was the same. I create a new file with just a small rectangle inside and then published with the same code, same files (using AIR SDK 3.0)... surprisingly, it has been published. I have no idea what's going on? can someone help me please? overall, it is something like this:

  Project1: ipa-test: published (it's my main project, ipa-test using mobileprovision certificate and developer development works)

  Project1: ipa-app-store: takes eternal (ipa-app-store using the certificate distribution and distribution mobileprovision does not work)

  Project2: ipa-test: published (it's just a test file, which has only a rectangle in it. tried ipa-test using the same files - that I used to create ipa Project1-works test...)

  Project2: ipa-app-store: published (I tried the ipa-app-store by using the SAME FILES THAT I have USED TO CREATE PROJECT1 IPA-APP-STORE... WORKS!)

  I thought that it is because I have many assets in Project1. I deleted them all and I've tried... did not... In fact, I added those all assets in Project2, then I tried... Published! -I think that this means that there is no problem with my certificates.

  In short, Project1 is published with ipa-test, but not with ipa-app-store...

  Here's my workflow (how I created the certificate file and the mobileprovision distribution):

  After spending most of the day, finally I could create the .ipa file. What I discovered was that there was a problem with a particular image. In fact, I have 5 frames, each containing a number of lines code. For the 5th Framework, I used to dynamically load the .swf (which included an inside action script). I read that it was not based so I copied all the codes and graphics that and pasted in frame 5. The problem which has finally understood was with this frame. I deleted this frame on the spot because I was too tired and too disappointed. I have no idea if the problem with the graphics/library/ACE. I even tried to copy the frame 5, create a new FLA and create a .ipa; but this does not work too. But I'm happy now that I have downloaded my app on App Store.

• Edition with added script AS2 FLA file does not work

  I hired someone else to do the writing of scripts for animation I created originally. He calls an xml file that displays 3 different items in the flash. It works very well... except when I open the FLA and republish - even if I do not change a single thing, the SWF file does not work. I tried everything nothing helped. The writer use CS3. I use CS4, I tried with the CS3 version (on another computer). The writer and myself work on Mac. The writer has even sent screenshots of publication of windows, and I select all options of same exact. (version 9, AS2).  All the world run into this kind of problem? I'm at end of witt. I really need to be able to make changes to this file and publish it. I can post the FLA file, if someone wants to take a look.  TIA, Julie
