  Hi all

  Due to network constraints, we are not allowed to post videos mp4, and when we publish to PDF files are quite large and become resource hogs. In previous editions of Captivate we could publish on a FLV, but in 7 Captivate we can't find all the information on the question of whether or not this feature has been removed. Thanks for any information.

  Reason probably is that FLV is sort of EOL, but have you tried to convert the MP4 to a FLV? You are aware that you lose any interactivity, because both formats are pure video?

• Errors loading captivate swf in IE8

  Hi all

  I am incorporating a swf generated by short captivate in my online help (created by HelpConsole). It works perfectly in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, but I get a message of errors of Page in Internet Explorer 8.

  Specifically, I get a number of errors of the requested object and a 'null' is null or not an object error.

  I have created the swf file in Captivate 5 and 5.5 and tried paying Flash 9 and 10.

  I inserted the swf file by using the default WYSIWYG option in HelpConsole. I had no problem using this html code to play swf captivate files that have NOT generated by:

  A Captivate SWF should generally code in the HTM model that comes with Captivate and the code in the standard.js file that is published with the HTM and SWF.  I think you need to be absent from the code that needs the Captivate SWF.  Try to use the same code, as used in the HTM and be sure that the JS file is also called.

  Hello Vinay,

  You can't use template security BI Publisher when the BEEP is integrated with OBIEE. You must use the Oracle Fusion Middleware security model in this case because OBIEE manages access. Security model BI Publisher can be used when you use a Simple installation, no installation of the company.   Me and my company I work for, trying now for 2 days how it can work... I hope someone can help me or we can do it together

  My goal is to have a file imported into HTML5 slide, with an animation created in Adobe Flash, which can for example jump to next slide. (To keep things simple for now )

  What I've done so far:

  1. I created a HTML5 Canvas in Adobe Flash CC. There, I created the animation I want to and he has published in a folder or a HTML5 project.

  2. I zipped it and it imported into Captivate, it works fairly well.

  3. I can click on it with a simple EventListener (which I have added Flash) via this.myMovieClip.addEventListener ("click", fl_MouseClickHandler.bind (this)); in Captivate. It works well!

  
  

  4. now, I wanted to add the ability to click on it and go to the next slide in the JavaScript code that is created when I publish the Flash file. Given that HTML5 and ActionScript3 does not have the same syntax, I wonder how its possible...

  Essbase Server (OS = windows server 2008): essbase
  
  After you apply the patching EMP 11.1.2.1, we apply after Electrodes for IE 9 compactibility i.e EMP 11.1.2.1.600 patches
  
  1. patch 14119724 (Workspace)
  2 14142678 patch (Shared services)
  3 patch 14224664 (EPMA)
  4 patch 14464109 (planning)
  
  After you apply above patches, all users get error when opening planning web form through the workspace of all client computer.

• Problem with Captivate 8 and SumTotal learning LMS Maestro-

  I get white screen when lance course published under the title of SCORM 2004 using Captivate 8.  All the publication settings are identical to those used with Captivate 7 and all classes of properties and parameters are the same in the LMS as course published using Captivate 7. At the launch of course, instead of the opening of the route screen, a white frame appears showing the playback bar course and LMS navigation bar. Logon screen does not appear until the user clicks on the button play on the PlayBar. No idea why this is happening?  Here is a screenshot of the white frame.

  Because it worked, obviously, the Chrome issue 36 comes break HTML5 output.  I hope that the patch solves everything.

  Ive just subscribing to edition Pro DPS and begins to build my Viewer application, however im getting an error with the title i.d. and password in the app Builder

  It says niether the id of title or password are valid, but they are the same that I used for the two newspapers in builder app and download my Folio to folio producer.

  Yes, the account management stuff is confusing when you place a 'creative' account to a Pro account. As said the updated guide on the road when you configure your Pro account, you must use dedicated Adobe ID such as [email protected] and [email protected], not [email protected]. The Folio copy command makes it easy to transfer the folios from one account to another, especially if you do it on the same machine that you used to create the folios. All right.

  Yet once again, do not use your 'master' account to create and publish folios. Use it only for the administration of accounts.

  I have a problem with Captivate 6.

  I fell on "Fatal error", where the simulation gets crashed and may not reopen again. I tried all the available resolutions in the blog of Adobe and the internet, but has not solved the problem.

  
  

  I had created a project a few days back and it was workin fine until today. When I tried to open it, fatal error appeared. Since I am familiar with this fatal error a bit from my last experience with Captivate 5.5, I tried opening/creating a new project and again threw fatal error . Now, whatever project I try to open, have fatal error.

  If you have not all specific settings for your projects in Adobe Captivate 6, try the following steps:

  (1) close Adobe Captivate 6

  (2) go to this location: C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Adobe file

  (3) rename the folder 'Captivate 6' to '1234 '.

  (4) launch Captivate and try a simulation

• Firefox problem with Captivate 2?

  Hi all
  I went through these forums and on the Web for a solution to my problem, but none will be presented. I use Adobe captivate 2 to create a simulation. I publish the simulation as a SWF with HTML. I test on my local machine in Firefox 1.5.0.9 and with Internet Explorer 6.0.29. Everything works fine on the spot. If I put it on the Web, everythign works as expected in Internet Explorer, however with Firefox, the shortcut key 'Enter', that I have assigned to a text entry box does not work. Nothing happens. Does not proceed to the next screen, does not display the legend of failure. For the sake of curiosity, I tested this problem with an old sim card I created with Captivate 1. The problem is not with captivate evidient 1. The problem seems to be attached to Firefox, Captivate 2 and access to the simulation on the Web. (Unfortunately, I can't provide a link to the problem, as it is a secure site, and which would involve giving you a password in order to release the material to the company. They would not like this so ;))
  
  Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated, because this problem has left me speechless.

  Hi all

  Thank you for your response. I found the solution. I assumed the standard.js file published by captivate was to suppress the warning flash IE. However, no calling not this file in my custom HTML page, load the SWF file has caused the key of the entry in Firefox problem.

  Maleware scanned and virus, also in safe mode, found no infection, reinstalled driver fingerprint, but nothing has changed.
