  We currently have this process:
  
  -Export production data using expdp
  -gzip .dmp file and move it via ftp to test servers
  -import data on the test servers
  
  We are trying to create a process where we can remove all the "sensitive data" test, because our data is highly confidential.
  So, we have already designed a procedure that can remove these data after the import.
  
  BUT my question is: there is some King of oracle tool which can allow us to modify the data in the dmp file, even before you start the import operation?

  You can protect your sensitive data after importation in the test environment using datamasking grid control functions.

  Another solution, I've used sometimes is create the trigger for insertion in the test environment a sensitive but important data change is slower.

  In this case, I think you can edit the sql file (generated from the 'imp indexfile' command), according to the storage in the new environment.

• Web publishing by publishing the OLD file?

  This is hard to explain, because it seems to defy logic.
  
  I did an authorware project. During the creation process, I published the web regularly see the changes. Great! No prob! However, when I finally made the last changes and settings, when I published, it maintains publication of the version that existed BEFORE I made the most recent changes. When I play in the authorware environment, it's OK. When I saw the Web page after the publication, I see the OLD version.

  The solution is to ask your crazy question on a discussion forum. The authorware program will wait until you make a fool of yourself. Then, the next time you post, it will work, in spite of doing nothing differently from the previous 25 times. Just an info!

  It seems that the main file is labeled with a date stamp; the "X" are other digital numbers by hiding I am those out because I'm not sure they're relevant. Is it safe to remove this? Note that this file does not appear in topic: down.

  Delete it and restart the computer, make sure that firefox is not open as windows usually makes those when you get BSOD.

  The first image below is the format of publication I've used. The second image is the result of publish the movie. Although the file is saved as .mpg it plays only the audio (and yes I tried opening with different programs, all the same result).

  

  Windows Media Player is very limited with regard to the types of files it can play.

  Download the excellent and free VLC Media Player and try to play your file with it. I think that you certainly have a MPEG here.

  In the windows version of Flash, the full path for the html and swf files are written in the window post. If you work on this file on a different computer than the one that originated the file, then the path may not be recognized by Flash. From the windows that contain the path in the scrolling window to publish at the end of the file name, you will not see the rest of the path name. Select the text in these spaces and publish delete and write the name of the file that you want, or close the window and save the fla to another location. And then publish.

  My project requires me to import a text file into a dynamic text field using the loadVariables function. My problem is that the text file contains an ampersign '& '. It seems that the ampersign stops the rest of the text of any on my flash movie. Is there a special character or an escape character that I can use to allow me to import the ampersign?
