  Hi all.

  about to try to take the plunge here and hoped a few technical tips, shopping tips (where is the best place to buy, time to buy etc) etc.

  I think I need to buy the CS5 bundle which includes Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

  I'd also really like to get Adobe Acrobat to edit metadata in PDFs. I also try to track down a version of Acrobat that will allow me to insert rotating models in real time.

  does anyone know if there is a package that will include all of this? is there a best time to buy the CS5 package? is there a better place to purchase the package, or can I just go to my local Apple store? etc.

  The current version of Creative Suite includes Acrobat X, which does NOT have the capabilities of Acrobat 3D. I think that it can read the 3D files created previously but cannot create them, if I understand correctly. As usual, it is best to ask on the Acrobat forum where you can get a better answer. I never had no reason to use Acrobat 3D and now his party.

  More directly answer the question of licensing, part of a string of upgrade cannot be transferred separately – it is all versions of the string, or none. Educational licenses are not transferable at all.

• Adobe CS5 Master Collection: Digital Setup error

  I recently bought an iMac (late 2015) running OS X El Capitan and wanted to install my already purchased Adobe CS5 Master Collection on this subject. The iMac doesn't have a CD drive, so I wanted to do this digitally. I downloaded the file DMG source here: Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products

  Once I have finished downloading, I run the DMG file and it opens the installer. I double click on it and it opens a window with 4 files (3 files, 1 install file): deploy, install, package, payloads.

  As I am not familiar with these files, I am aware that I need to run the file "install". When I do, I get the error message below.

  'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened. You must eject the image.

  'Install' is on the disk image

  PS - also, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash Catalyst, and Flash are all in my Applications folder. But I think they're just there because I did a try before you buy CS5 Adobe. Would this be the case?   If you purchased InDesign CS5.5 as an upgrade then it looks like it's showing that you need to provide information about the old version where you improved since he found nothing that qualifies.  You must only choose the old version and serial number.  (I don't know anything about InDesign, nor how it might relate to PageMaker).
