Purchased cartridge 920 XL cartridge on 15/08/2014, failed.

I bought 920 cartridge XL from best buy on 15/08/14, cartridge has failed, did print report all colors except black called store reported and told me that they have does not replace or refund. Full poster cartridge, but as I said do not print black, I paid $37,85 for cartridge and have the reception.  What is suggested?

Thanks for providing this information ribtips123.

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector)

I have provided some documents to see if it will help solve this problem.

Printer cannot print black ink or color ink or prints blank Pages.

This document explains how to manually clean the contacts.

"The following ink cartridge seems to be missing or corrupt" Error Message on the printer...

Here are the steps to manually clean the print head.

'Print head problem' or "Print head seems to be missing or corrupt" Message appears on the printer...

You use genuine HP cartridges?
Check the date on the cartridge to make sure that they are still in warranty. (not old stock)

If you need help, let me know.

Good day!
Thank you.

I had endless problems with Lightroom since the purchase of subscription for one year in December 2014. Now, the development Module was disabled, as they claim that my subscription has expired...  He spent more time to work does not, and I bitterly regret it.  Help, please!

Open the Adobe Creative Cloud application then go to preferences then sign out and then sign back with the same Adobe ID that you used to purchase the subscription photographers, that is to say the same e-mail address and password.

Then open Lightroom and go to the Help menu and make sure that it is signed in with that Adobe ID email address.

Hello. Given that you can't seem to get the cartridges for your printer; I would check HP sure supply. • C310 HP All in One: black cartridge won't print; Alignment failed

Printer works perfectly, as usual.  Rec'd notice to update the drivers of HP software; has done, and suddenly black ink does not print at all.  Done all the troubleshooting steps: test page printed. print the Diagnostics page.  Align the print cartridges.  Cleaned print heads.  Although the cartridge has shown the more partial estimated ink level, replaced by the new HP black ink cartridge.  Still not printing black ink.

Print uninstalled and reinstalled the software.  Tried everything above.  Has released a new cartridge and replaced with previous.  Also been clarified vents on both cartridges.  It is not that black ink is smudged on striated, it's as if there is no cartridge at all.  I also checked to make sure that the printer is not set to print grayscale.  It is located in the color and Normal.  Changed for the better, still nothing.

HP Print and Scan Doctor initially show all correct.  The device status is now red X: Make sure cartridges and printheads are correct or your printer.  All are genuine HP cartridges.  Now I get a message on the printer alignment failed.  Is it possible that this is related to the update printer drivers?  I have never had a printer HP fail before.  Have at least six of them.  I do not use the printer a lot it should be worn.  In addition, it printed fine until what I've updated the drivers.

Advice on what to try next? Thank you.

    Hello

The only troubleshooting steps to run is clean print head.

Make sure that you perform print head cleaning for at least 3 times.

If the problem persists, then the print head must be replaced.

You need to call HP Technical Support to get help to get the printhead replaced.

If you're not in the United States, and then connect to www.hp.com , bottom left it is an icon of the world map, click it and then select the region that you belong to, which would then provide the support options for you for this region.

  • Aligning the print cartridge HP Photosmart C7280 Print failed - prints in everything but black

When I print, it comes out in pink/red.

I bought all new ink cartridges and done a master reset and I still get the error that does not have the print cartridge alignment.

    Hello

Please try the step and then try alignment process listed below.

on the screen of the printer.

    1. Press the key SETUP (key), then
    2. Then press TOOLS,
    3. Press the CLEAN print head / cartridge.

Make sure that the ink cartridges should be at least 25% full.

Note: you need to repeat the above steps 2 - 3 times.

If issue still persits, it could be a defective black cartridge or print head. In which case you could call the HP Technical Support for assistance.

  • Need a replacement for my Officejet 5610 - totally confused cartridges!

Need to buy replacement cartridges and I'm totally confused by the wide range that I have to choose.  Specifically, need help with...

    (1) understand what are "compatible" cheaper options tried a couple of them and my printer HP 5610 does not accept them at all.  Need to know what is the difference between 'remanufactured' and 'original '.  Original is obvious but do not understand the term "rebuilt".  It is better to buy refurbished - they seem to be much cheaper.

    (2) my printer color cartridge was hardly used at all & the printer was happily ignoring that cartridge because I print "Black" only.  But recently I started getting an error message... "No plans left for your printer cartridge".  Noticed the date on this cartridge is 06/06/2008.  Is this relevant; guess no cause that I used printer at least once a week from then until January 2014.

    (3) I seem to have a purchase choice HP27, HP56 HP57 to replace the black cartridge.  What is the difference between these 3?

    (4) I seem to have only one choice for the color cartridge and HP22 (C9352A).  Is this fair?

    1. The "compatible" cartridges are generally filled / cartridges that have been used one or several times, then filled and reconditioned discounts.  The quality is very variable, but is generally low, see the study here for more information.
    2. The printer can print with happiness with an empty cartridge, but if the cartridge is not electrically, it will be rejected for not damage the electronics of the printer.  The cartridges do not expire, but a cartridge that old may have failed.  The date printed on the cartridge is the date of end of warranty, two years from the date of manufacture.  Your color cartridge is almost eight years at this point.
    3. The 57 cartridge is a cartridge not black color.  It is not usable in the black slot.  The 56 cartrdige is probably your best bet for the black cartridge, it is $ 26 on the HP site and rating of 630 pages.  The 27 cartridge is $ 22 and rated at 340 pages.  56 cartridge holds nearly twice the ink use cartridge 27, 19.5 ml to 56 compared to 11 ml to 27.
    4. Yes, the cartridge 22 is the only color cartridge in Officejet 5610 according to the website of HP SureSupplysupported.
  • HP Officejet K7100 (UK): can't get recommended cartridges in Thailand

I can't do the cartridges HP 337/338/339 in Thailand for my HP Officejet K7100 (bought in the UK), only HP94/95/96 are available and printer rejects these. I expect the same problem with the color cartridges.

I would appreciate any suggestions please other than cleaning and filling of the old cartridges? Is it possible to change the software / firmware?

    Hello

The Thailand is in the following region: Americas and Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan, China and India). Your printer uses

HP 96 black or HP 94 black or HP 98 black HP 95 three colors or colors HP 97 HP 99 Photo HP Gray Photo 100 102 Photo orHP gray

You will not be able to buy cartridges HP 337/338/339 in Thailand. You have 2 options:

a buy the HP 337/338/339 cartridges to the United Kingdom and send in Thailand
    (b) purchase cartridges available in Thailand and (very important) call HP Thailand and ask to tell you how to reset the printer to allow him to use the list above.

  • With the help of HP ink cartridges which have been refilled.

I'm having my cartridges refilled at costco 564xl. When I install the reloaded cartridges the ink level is very low. How can I solve this problem

    Maxie,

If this is the case, then

    • These people mean that perhaps it is a way of deterrence - as a way to deter you from using filled cartridges in the first place?  Personal opinion: printing software is not likely to be vindictive.
    • The results can be completely benign - the printer and/or the software may not be able to read the contents correctly the cartridges 'foreigners '.

I was never in a position where I had to use reloaded cartridges.

I use in my PhotoSmart 7520 564XL cartridges - HP cartridges show completely full when it is installed.  The conduct of the audit software say "estimated ink levels".

    Try / review

You can get a better idea of whether the ink is actually 'low' for starters if you check the number of pages printed - compare the number when you start a new cartridge (s) (game of) for the number of sheets printed when you need to replace the cartridges.  Check the total against the number of sheets that must be printed at the size of the cartridge.

You can check with Costco for the number of estimaterd of leaves, you can imagine by charged cartridge.

Another important factor: the printer will answer as seems it.  If Costco said you should get 200 sheets per cartridge and you get 100 sheets, then this is what you get.  This is true for any cartridge.  You must take into account the types of documents or printed photos.

It's certainly a bit of work for an ink cartridge - it will give you an idea of whether you are in fact save money using reloaded cartridges.

    Happy 2014!

It's a nice way of saying 'Thank you' for help.

  • Various consumables by region

I bought a HP7510 all-in-one printer when I moved to China 3 years ago. In China the correct according to HP cartridges 862. I am a UK national and have returned to England and brought the printer with me. I have now purchased cartridges to the United Kingdom, HP UK online list the right cartridge 364. When I install in the HP7510 bought in China on the incorrect cartridge, an error message will appear. Is it possible to change the printer to accept what UK purchased of the original HP cartridges?

Hi there @JohnF - China , welcome to the community of HP

You need to contact HP directly to have a "regionalization Reset" on the printer accepts the cartridges.

Please see this post from @Bob_Headrick for instructions: Re: regionalization reset

  • 895Cxi using Windows 7 is no longer prints colors

My 895cxi (which my Windows 7 detects it as 895cse) deskjet printer does not print color. So far I've never had a problem. Today, I put in a new ink cartridge three colors but without success. And the cartridge is new in the store today. I did a printer print test and got an error code of 9002013. Black seems to print correctly, as it always has, but not the colors.

I recommend you contact the dealer that there is a genuine HP cartridge, even if a new cartridge should work correctly it can always be a faulty cartridge... That's why you have warranty for the purchased cartridge, the end of warranty date is on the cartridge itself:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00206040

If it is a hardware problem, I doubt that the ease with which it can be set by a user next to clean the electrical contacts in the printer, unplug the printer and use an eraser to clean the contacts of the location on the left, which can sometimes help avoid corrosion of electrical contacts... beside that I doubt how profitable it is at the service of such a product...

According to my experience, it is usually more likely associated with the cartridge itself for this kind of ink system...

    Hope that helps,

    Shlomi

  • OfficeJet 6500 will not print black

    Hello

I have an Officejet 6500 AIO which allows to print any color over black. We have already replaced the black toner cartridge, ran an alignment (which failed), and 1st and 2nd printhead level cleaning, with no improvement made. I searched online HP even sells no more replacement for this model print heads, and those that I could find other suppliers cost half the price of a new printer.

Anything else I can try before calling, she leaves and replace the whole unit?

    Thank you

    Dave

If the suggestion of Print_Hint does not resolve the problem, you can try to soak the print head in warm water for a few minutes as described in this post.
