• Write on the Labview EXE Console Ran STANDARD output

  Anyone know if it is possible to write on the STANDARD of a Labview EXE output when run from a Windows console? I don't want to say calling an external my Labview code EXE using the Exec.vi system and get the standard output of the external exe returned to Labview but rather run my EXE Labview as an application of console se and have the Labview application a pass/fail result final to stdout to the output console.

  I found this post which allows to accept command line arguments, but I have not found a clear method to write to the standard output.

• Not possible to set the HDMI output as default screen on Qosmio G30

  It is not possible to set the HDMI output as default screen! This works only with VGA output. There is no option in the BIOS. According to support, Toshiba will plan any action for this useful feature.

  I use an external TFT with HDMI adapter DVI Cable and I want to have as default screen TFT. With VGA, it will work without problems.
  Any solution?

  Very interesting question! In my view, HDMI port is to be used with the HD ready LCD TVs or plasma. Combination of connection HDMI and HD DVD movies, you can really have a HD on your TV picture quality.

  As you know the port is a standard VGA port to connect external displays. The image quality is very good and, in my opinion, you should not use HDMI port for the same. Do you perhaps the best image quality?

  You can use the interface for RS232 communication standard series. If for example you send 1, 2 or 3 as a string to the cRIO and then you change by program the ni - rt.ini to change the path of access between a startup2.rtexe and startup1.rtexe, startup2.rtexe.

  I would like to inform you that, down from sound to mono-stereo sampling is not possible, since stereo sound is a sound standard setting.

  Stereo speakers are designed to produce a sound to both speakers and there is no option to change the settings to use as mono.

  I also suggest that you contact the speaker manufacturer or the manufacturer of the computer for assistance on this issue.

  @Ruaridh: the HP Support Spec page shows your PC has a USB 3.0 port.

  These ports have two sides of different power, according to the purpose of the port output:

  (1) standard port USB 3.0 - 500 MA (0.5 a)

  2-port USB 3.0 - load 1500mA (1.5 Amps)

  You get the best support experience with, you use a USB 3.0. Those who can usually provide 2.1 amps.

• automate the macro output

  I currently have two macros, buttons in the toolbar, I head out to a word generated at:
  
  Re-format to standard House (bits lost in translation of HR)
  -Remove extra spaces in the hidden text (index entries) to reduce the size of the file (13%).
  
  What I want to achieve is the macro to run as soon as the output has been generated. Can it be controlled by HR?
  
  When the project comes to an end, there will be 2 people left to preserve all documents, and I would like to make life as easy as I can for them.

  I don't think that this can be achieved as a macro is started manually, as you do now, or has something to set it off. Which will normally open any folder or a specific file. You don't not clearly want the macro to run when you open any Word file so a macro must exist in the Word file containing the RH output. Clearly, which cannot exist so I don't see any way to do what you want.

  The best forum of Word I know is www.wopr.com and click on the link to the Woody show. If you explain that you want that a macro for automatic execution at the end of a document created by another application, you may find one of the gurus there is an idea. They are a very useful and very clever guy group.

  I think I found a way to solve this problem for my emails. I found a useful utility which converts all messages from outlook into eml files.   Since the last update for windows firefox 8.1 ask every time to be the standard browser. In the windows settings (standard programs), it is already established as such. But in the Firefox settings (General provisions), it is shown constantly to be non-standard.

  You can disable the application by going to menu > Preferences > general, then uncheck the box that says always check to see if firefox is the default browser. I would also try that in fact the default browser from here, see if that helps.

• Is there a way to have Firefox respects the audio output device by default when it has been modified while Firefox is open?

  I've been a Firefox user for many years and I still use it as my main browser. A problem that has bothered me for years lies in the fact that when Firefox is open and I change my audio output device by default, Firefox does not respect this change and continues to play audio through the device that was used to originally. Even if you stop the audio and keep playing, does not change the output device.

  Is there a way that this can be configured in Firefox? Now, if I listen to music online (e.g. Soundcloud) I always use Chrome because it is respect changing the default audio output even in the middle of audio playback device.

• How to change the audio output for the metronome

  I would like to send the metronome (and speech signals) for monitors to the scene in the ear.

  I understand that I can do this in MainStage using different output for the above titles vs. the rest of the 'Concert '.

  I tried to follow the instructions of the Manual:

  Change the audio output for the sound of the metronome

  1. Choose the MainStage > Preferences > General.
  2. In the section of metronome on the general tab, choose another audio output on the shortcut menu to exit.

  PROBLEM

  1. on the general tab, only the outputs 1-2 are available/selectable (likely, these are also by default for all "Concert")

  2. Why is this process in the manual if it is not executable (without doing something to another additional Set up)?

  3. it's probably among the requirements of setting up more critical even easier for using MainStage with a live band, so why am I having to ask for help at all!

  Rant on (its been a long day)

  Grateful for any help to solve cela. I guess I can send the metronome (such as a click track) and speech signals on the same outputs, which are separated from the rest of the Concert... or should I change the outputs on the other tracks and keep the outputs 1-2 for the metronome marks / voice?

  To access the output audio, you need an audio interface with several outputs.

  Under the option View Toolbars, i disabled the standard bar with file, change the view, etc.

  Press the Alt key for temporary access to this toolbar. Use view > toolbars and click on the Menu bar to show it all the time.
