  -Security WARNING asking if I want to run index.hta, I chose run option (vs save or cancel)

  -A encountered an error: "an error has occurred.  You want to debug?  "Line 21 error: the system cannot find the file specified."

  -J' chose debug to see what it was.  Line 21 States ' varoExec = wshell.run (app_to_run1);  It is impossible to continue, if I skip this line and go to line 22 to continue that I get a screen with an HTML error and a few buttons not specified.  It is impossible to continue beyond that point.

  What is going on?

  No, the phone OS update should not affect your phone somehow. As a general rule, you can refresh using any carrier version as long as it's for the same phone model number. The only thing you need to do is delete the Vendor.xml file located in C:\Program Files\Common search in Motion\AppLoader before using Desktop Manager to do the update

  You can update your BlackBerry by using an operating system of any company in the world.  If you look at the top positions in each category of these forums (aka 'sticky'), you'll see instructions for updating your phone using the OS from another carrier.  This will not affect your phone with Orange, unless you need technical support on their part and they have not yet released the OS you have installed.  Not to worry though, any support that you need to lie here in these forums.

  You should try the manual method... from a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

  Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC.   I have a BB of Q10, purchased from Rogers in the Canada. I bought outright and then paid rogers to unlock the device because I travel quite frequently to the Canada and the United States.

  The phone seems to be open correctly. I used it on the Rogers network to the Canada since I bought it and I was able to use it with T-Mobile and Verizon SIM cards to the United States as well as wandering mobility. So I know that it is at least partially open, its different SIM cards at least 4 used different sellers.

  I am now in Europe, Croatia to be exact and bought two SIM cards different from suppliers here (Tele2 and T-Mobile). However, the two cards when it is inserted into the device invites a notification "SIM card blocked The device is network locked. Contact your service provider. »

  I spoke with the technical support of Rogers, they assure me that the device is unlocked and provided another code to do. When I go into settings > Security and privacy > card SIM screen says "the device is ready to be used on the network" (with T - Mobile SIM inserted). The options; Network subset and Service provider, all say UNLOCKED. There is no available option still unlock anything. Yet, I can't get the unit works on the network here. Is it still possible for a device to be unblocked at the regional level?

  It is not a conflict of network, T-Mobile and Rogers are both HSPA/UMTS so the unit should work in theory.

  Does anyone have experience with this? I'm running out of ideas, and it will suck really have to rely on Wifi for the next 3 weeks or have Rogers to pay $100 for a (criminal) roaming package

  I've never seen a 'regional' unlocked BlackBerry. It is a network locked or unlocked.

  My guess would be a difference in band network in the region, that you travel. You can try 3G network settings and the test?

  Settings > network connections and > Mobile network > Network Technology, what choice do you have here?

  I bought a Blackberry of Q10 of USA and the provider is Verizon. However, I live in Turkey and my local carrier is Turkcell. When I try to update my OS through the "settings--> check for updates", it says I have the latest version of the software which is 10.1 and the same thing is happening on BB link too. Is it possible to update my OS 10.2.1 without a verizon sim card?  I searched the forums but couldn't find any information about it.

I get notifications of new version of the software (10.2.1.3062 - 928 MB size) but when connect my bb on my pc using the bb link or WiFi, it starts to download the software but about 25% of the download stops and says please check your internet connection. I tried in many places and it's the same problem.

  just a quick heads up on this one. Update Facebook on the blackberry world app store. the last update will wipe your app software and download new one that NEVER let you use the app. It will redirect you to the Web site using the internet connection. Ive just said it will happen also to whats app soon. BlackBerry decided not to support the apps more. now, personally I only don't look now and again so no biigy for me but I'm not sure who would use much of the data or would it be the same amount.

  So, you get the software update. You need to connect to a wifi network. Find a Hotspot at a coffee or something and it download it.

  Try different helmet "well known."
