  Hello guys,.
  Toshiba service replaced it by a new one, including a geforce 6600 gpu on my F10. So, now I formatted the laptop and I want to once again return to work. But I see that there are a few different devices, such as the 6600go gpu.

  Where can I find the drivers (lan, chipset, modem.. etc..) On the toshiba web site? If I choose qosmio F10 downloads, get the drivers for the old motherboard (and the 5700 graphics card).

  Anyone know where to find the correct drivers? Thank you!

• Qosmio F10 - noisy fan & replacement

  My Qosmio F10 comes up to 3 years & cooling fan now sounds a bit like an angle with a grinder knocked on the landing when it starts. Now this laptop has had 3 years of intensive use & abuse, sometimes running 24-7 weeks & despite all my friends to go through the changes of motherboards (& for them 3 times) I've only had to change the battery & hard drive.

  He always does everything I want it so I'm reluctant to immediately obtain a new & spend a lot of money that I don't have, if someone can tell me if its possible to change the fan myself, or at least clean up (I did several times without any problems on my Toshiba laptop not old to 6 years old several times since I found the instructions on how to disassemble it).

  Any help would be appreciated

  Well, what to say I put t recommend disassemble the laptop because it may be damaged another aircraft or parts. This disassembly must be performed by a technician for laptop.
  But the fact is that the laptop everything must be removed if you want to replace the cooling module.

• Qosmio F10 recover after replacing the motherboard

  I'm having a problem with my Qosmio F10 recovery. It won't boot from the CD, I get a message "media test check the cable failure".
  I tried everything I could find here on this issue without any results. Then I read somewhere on this forum that this recovery cd would not work if the laptop has been repaired and has a new motherboard. This is excatly the case.

  I got a new motherboard and CD/DVD player put some time ago.

  Who replaced the motherboard? THE ASP?

  Well, usually the recovery CD should work after the replacement of the motherboard.
  I presume that the parts have been replaced with exactly the same parts and so it should t be a conflict between the recovery and the new motherboard CD.

  Have you tried to boot from another bootable Win XP or Linux CD? Check it!

  A few days ago, I started my Qosmio QF10-100 and an error, it says:

  Alert: System protection failure.
  Password =...

  I 'google' the error nothing helps, the solutions are not compatible with this type of laptop and I'm not going to pay someone to fix it if it's just a simple password.

  I would like to know what is the default password, because I'm 100% sure that I have not put it, or if there is other ways to restore. My guarantee is only from 2004-2005, it is out of the question.

  Looks like a rare problem, hopefully it's fixable.

  For me, it looks like a BIOS password has been set. Maybe I m wrong, but in my opinion it should be set a BIOS password or maybe a drive HARD this password which is hard to say.

  Unfortunately, if you n t know the password you will not be able to start Notepad :(
  But buddy don t worry, the local ASP would be able to remove a BIOS password.

  No matter if you warranty is valid or not. You should contact the guy in your country and have to ask for help.

  I'm not sure how much it would cost but I n t thinks it might be expensive.

  My hard drive on this laptop just died and I want to replace it. The current hard Bank ability is 60GB.5400 RPM.

  Can someone tell me what than the maximum capacity hard drive I can come up, and if possible what should I look for in an equivalent hard disk if a replacement Toshiba is not readily available.

  Seems that you need a 2.5 IDE HARD drive.
  I think you can take a 120 GB HDD and the HDD should work properly.

  HARD drive Bay must be placed at the bottom of the unit.
  Its guarantee with a plastic cover and screw. Remove the screw, then cover in plastic and then you should be able to remove the HARD drive...

  I just installed a new motherboard on my F10-124.
  He was the P000415760 of PCB (part number P000454980) upgrade as the graphics card does not - again!

  Documents accompanying tell me to update the Bios, EC/KBC (parameters please) and write the new DMI. At the time where the VGA controller is not recognized, and no reader CD is listed.

  I read somewhere that the screen on the F10-125 is XGA and the screen on the F10-100 is not XGA.
  Anyone know if there are different screens for these two models.
  I'm not really sure of what means XGA. Can someone help me?

  I bought Qosmio F10-100 and had a problem, watching TV in the reader MCE and Qosmio {no sound quality, b & w, poor}. Then I installed the new version of the TV tuner driver and solved the problem of the MCE.
  Now I want to update Qosmio Player {noise}, I downloaded it, but I read in the Readme it must 200MBytes of unpartitioned hard disk space. I can install without repartitioning my hard drive? What happens with current Qosmio Playerpartition {80 MB}? I'll be able to see this old partition of Partition Magic?

• Qosmio G10-100 - failed afer replacement with larger HARD drive HARD drive

  Following a failure in a Qosmio G10-100 HARD drive, I replaced the HD 80 GB IDE current with a 160 GB IDE drive. After execution of the recovery of the DVD, new HARD drive has been formatted and installed the software (later proved by removing the drive and treat as an exterrnal disk on another PC).

  However, on booting, the machine has recognized that it was another hard drive and it wouldn't let me go beyond the screen that offers alternatives (Safe Mode, etc.), nor what would allow me access.

  You have installed the Windows operating system on the new HARD drive by using the recovery disk. Right?
  Well, the recovery procedure has completed correctly? The operating system has been successfully installed?

  Did repeat the installation of the OS?
  If this is not the case, repeat!

  On my f10 cosmio 101 caps lock green won't turn on all the time, whether it is on or off, so I never know is it turned on. Also when I press right shift windows media player turns, and when the left press the letters on my screen became smaller.

  AFAIK all keyboards works on the same principle. Lock shift turned permanently you can turn it off by using the SHIFT key. Press the SHIFT key and hold down the key. After that press Caps lock once, and it should be disabled. If there is a green light it shows whether or not shift caps lock is enabled.

  Please also check out Chapter 5 in operating manuals s. here, you will find a brief but very useful explanation on keyboard on Qosmio F10.

  I m not an owner of the Qosmio G20, but the replacement of keyboard on the G20 is very similar to another series of laptop.
  If you want to remove the keyboard please follow these steps:

  1.) open view.
  2.) Insert your finger into the slot between the reinforcement of the keyboard and the computer. Then,
  Lift the keyboard bracket to unlock and remove.
  3. remove 1 screw from the keyboard hold the plate.
  4. remove the screws fixing the keyboard
  Lift the upper part of the keyboard and turn down the palmrest.
  6. remove the 2 screws of the plate support keyboard and remove the
  keyboard support plate.
  7 disconnect the cable from the keyboard connector on the system board CN3200.
  8. remove the keyboard.

  All that s

  But note; If you have no experience, please don t remove the keyboard.
