Qosmio F10 drivers/BIOS - level installed

I just bought the F10 - nice, but there are a lot of problems... Does anyone know where to find the levels of the drivers & BIOS that are installed in your machine? I want to make sure I have the latest - as have some backlevel drivers can cause problems. There is no need to download the drivers of the database if you already later!

Thank you.

and "C:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\PCDiag\PCDiag.exe" you will all give the toshiba info: serial number, bios...

  • Qosmio F10-136 - cannot install all drivers

    I have a Qosmio F10-136.

I recently formatted hard drive. Because I had lost the recovery disc, I had to use another copy of Windows. I downloaded the drivers available on the Toshiba site, but I did not install all the drivers except the wireless LAN. Most of the configurations of driver refuse to run at all, some seem to install the files, but the driver is not detected.

    Please notify.

    Hello

Do you have what OS installed on your Qosmio laptop?
AFAIK the F10-136 is a European model and so you can download all drivers here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

If you use Windows XP, you can find the installation instructions document. Use this list as a recommended driver installation order.
Usually the drivers must be installed first, and then Tools. You should start with the chipset drivers.

  • Controller drivers/video display Qosmio F10-136

I'm in the middle of reinstalling everything on my computer laptop Qosmio F10-136. I used the Toshiba site display drivers. However, in the video controller Device Manager shows an error, and the drivers are not installed. The graphics card is a nVidia GeForce FX go5700. Scrolling up and down pages in Internet Explorer is very slow.

Also when I go to display settings-advanced-adapter graphics card properties is not displayed under adapter type.

Someone knows what's the problem? I need to download the drivers to elsewhere?

    Thank you

    Ben

    Hello

The graphics driver on the European driver Toshiba page works and can be installed correctly.
I think you did something wrong.

Try to reinstall the graphics driver again.

Remove the graphics controller from the list of Device Manager and restart the laptop.
Then try to reinstall the driver again. I recommend to install in the Device Manager.
Choose graphics card, update driver, and then point to the downloaded graphics driver and complete the installation.

  • Qosmio F10: Edition of USB-mouse - how can I reinstal drivers USB port?

    Hello

I am the owner of a Qosmio F10 with Win XP MCE.

I have recently encountered problems with my USB ports I have 3 in my computer. It began with one of them and has now spread to the rest of them.

The problem occurs especially with my mouse. The mouse freezes and sometimes I hear the alarm which is generally issued when disconnected a device. Sometimes it restarts seconds later and sometimes I have to physically unplug my mouse and plug it back in to restart.

The problem also occurred with other devices that is my Ipod.

The problem could be related to lack of memory because it seems to me see more during the execution of the programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, etc., however I can't say that for sure.

Can I reinstal the drivers for the USB ports? I tried reinstalling my driver of mouse, with no effect.

Please note that I cannot go into 'Control panel' I get an error message and closes the window.

I hope someone can help me.

    Best regards

    Green tentacle

USB drivers are part of the Windows operating system. 3rd party USB drivers don t exist!
What you could do is to disconnect all USB devices and could remove the USB ports/hubs/controllers in Device Manager.

    Reboot the laptop.
After restarting again the operating system should recognize and install again the USB ports.
This accelerated procedure should help you

  • Qosmio F10 - where can I find the correct BIOS update?

My Qosmio F10 has a mother of replacement of Toshiba with a Geforce Go 6600 GA and an Intel 915 chipset.

If I understand well Toshiba manual support that this should now be designated F10 - R. I tried to update the BIOS to the latest version (2007) F10 but the update procedure he throws as invalid for this machine. A research on F10 - R shows nothing.

    Can anyone help?
    Thank you
    Adriandr

    Hello

To be honest I have never heard the Qosmio F10 - R
I think you should ask your authorized service provider again before we do something wrong. They can tell you what BIOS you need for an update.

Also, why do you want to update the BIOS? This t shouldn't be done just for fun because this update is always somewhat risky and should only be done if you have a problem with your laptop.

    Welcome them

  • How to start IrDA by the BIOS on my Qosmio F10?

    Hello

I have a Qosmio F10, and I read that the port IrDA does not start by the bios at startup, but by the operating system.
How can I do to start my IrDA port with the bios at startup? Is this possible? Cause that will help you a lot

Another question, yesterday I've post a message on the Linux driver. When I ve clicked on "post message" I ve got a message "this message must be approved by a moderator" but, I do not see my forum topic, but why yesterday, my topic was to be accepted by a moderator and today my topic doesn't have it?

    Post edited by: benlog

    Hello

It is not possible to make some changes on the IRDA port in the BIOS. If the IRDA port is available on the machine, the operating system can recognize automatically. As far as I know that the infrared port is always enabled for communication with the other device that has obtained permit port IRDA.

  • Qosmio F10 with mainboard replaced: where can I find the right drivers?

    Hello guys,.
Toshiba service replaced it by a new one, including a geforce 6600 gpu on my F10. So, now I formatted the laptop and I want to once again return to work. But I see that there are a few different devices, such as the 6600go gpu.

Where can I find the drivers (lan, chipset, modem.. etc..) On the toshiba web site? If I choose qosmio F10 downloads, get the drivers for the old motherboard (and the 5700 graphics card).

Anyone know where to find the correct drivers? Thank you!

    Hello

    Check it please THIS page.

I assume that LAN driver chipset and driver are also the same.

    Hello

You can try the steps of troubleshooting provided in the below mentioned link and check if they help.

Your computer stops responding when you restart to complete the installation of Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/885626

Because the problem is with the BIOS, I suggest that get you in touch with the manufacturer for further assistance.

    Note:

BIOS change / additional settings CMOS (semiconductor) to oxide of metal bad cancause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
