  I just purchased a Qosmio F20 age of 8 months, and bought a Netgear rangemax wireless router so that I can go wireless. The only problem is, I don't know how!

  It is quite simple to find the BIOS for your model, download and install it.
  But it is not necessary to get the Wireless LAN to work.

  Since you have the old PC to go online with Wifi, you must have at least basic knowledge how to configure the computer to connect to an existing network.
  Please tell us what steps you have taken to implement the F20.

• 3G BT Broadband Mobile (Huawei) problem with IE and Firefox, Satellite L300

  The L300 Satellite running Vista 32 bit.

  I have a connection Broadband BT and with WIFI or ethernet at home I can connect to the internet and go without problem.
  I also have the BT USB Dongle for mobile connection far from home, this is the problem.

  I can connect to the internet through the connection manager BT (the software that is included in the dongle and installed on the Satellite L300) and some dongles light and software see I am connected. Too, it is shown on the icons at the bottom of the computer screen.

  Problem is IE and firefox will open, but neither more, "cannot display this page' or 'Connection timed Out' my access provider Internet (BT) said this isn't a matter of Dongle it's a software issue.

  I know that it is typical of an ISP as much as the two BT lines did not know what to say,
  Funny it is... until last week it worked so I was away from home, I used IE then tried to do the full-screen page and then stopped with "cannot display this page". He has not worked since. I then installed Firefox to check that it was not just IE.

• Qosmio G20 cannot boot from CD copied

  I have a Qosmio G20 purchased at the Canada a couple of years back. I lost my recovery DVD (original copy) but I have an ISO image burned on my backup drive. I burned the image on another DVD and I tried to recover from this DVD. Unfortunately, my computer does not this DVD.

  The BIOS is set to boot from the CD first. I tried to start other systems with this DVD and it starts as a result. I also tried to boot from other CD of the OS for example XP Professional. All of these discs are not the original disks. They are made from the original ISO image.

  I wonder if the Qosmio DVD only reads the original disks or is there something wrong with my G20.
  This laptop can't boot from the USB DRIVE.
  It was one of the things that I tried. But of course, the G20 does not support this.

  Maybe you should try to boot from another bootable CD/DVD to check if the readers is not a malfunction. ?:|

  Regarding the boot from USB.
  Well, I read that this is not possible. You can boot only from HDD, ODD, LAN and USB FDD (floppy)

• Qosmio F750 - cannot get certain functions to work after 8 Win uprgade

  I have a Qosmio F750-125, PQF75E.

  Since I upgraded to Win 8, using Toshiba Upgrade Assistant I might add, I had a few problems.
  Especially not be able to get my Toshiba Blu - ray player to install.

  Finally I managed, still haven't exactly how, but somehow, to install the latest version 1.0.0.5.70A.
  The problem now is that the 3D feature do not always seem to work.
  When I open a 3D movie, I get only the image to view side by side, despite clicking 3D button.

  I tried to update the Nvidia driver (v290) to the latest version v314, available on the Nvidia for my graphics card, GeForce GT540M but whenever I get a message that the driver can not find hardware driver compatible. Eventually leave in the update files downloaded by Toshiba Upgrade Assistant I managed to install the v306. However, I still cannot install v 314, after the "system check" I always get the message that the driver can find hardware driver compatible.

  However, 3D does not always work. I noticed that the face detection (SuperD Xtune) does not automatically start with the Blu - ray player when I start or open a 3D file to be read by the Toshiba Blu - ray player, it was.

  Cannot install the nVidia page graphics driver by running the exe.

• Cannot get my paid version of Lightroom to work after the end of the track.

  First download a trail and then upgraded to the annual plan (creative cloud for photographers), but there is no product registered in my plan and I still have an expired version trail of Lightroom.   Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
