  • Qosmio G40: TV Tuner does not not in Windows 7 64 bit

    Hello

After months of patience and according to the pilots-info on the Toshiba site, I found it was time to replace my ultimate Vista32 with Windows7 Ultimate. It seemed that all drivers now have a 64-bit Windows 7 version, missing drivers / software could be replaced by the 64-bit versions of Vista. Unfortunately, I had some problems with TOSHIBA PCI TV DVB-T/Analog hybrid Tuner.

Search a couple of ours for a sollution to this problem of TOSHIBA PCI DVB-T/Analog TV Tuner hybrid (x 64) with Windows 7. In the hardware Manager, it shows a yellow triangle with an exclamation point, telling me that there is a problem with the device. Through the properties, I get an error with code (39).

I downloaded the drivers from the Web from Toshiba site that returns the following files:
    tisdbt1a64.cab
    TISDBT1A64.inf
    TISDBT1A64.sys
    and a "setISDBTDriverParameters" additional-regkey.

    (1) when I try to replace the drivers by through properties in devicemanager, I get a message back that the best drivers are already installed and there is no driver better is found.

    (2) install manually
There are no instructions to install the downloaded files, or the registry key. When I try to install the "INF" with right click, I get an installationerror selected file inf does not suppoert this installationmethod.

    (3) when I try to use 'install the old hardware', the system ends in blue screen when the driver is selected and installed. After startup, the system falls again into blue screen. So I had to remove the device by using "save mode".

    (4) I also tried to install Vista 64-bit, the same behavior as (3)

    (5) I tried both 2_1_11-ISDB-T TV and TV-Tuner-2_1_1_0 Tuner. However, IMHO the former should be used.

Finally, I reinstalled the system full (from scratch), but same problem occurs.

Any suggestions? I found various threads on just the tips are given. Almost no one describes a sollution to work.

I have not found a sollution

    Hello

    Hello

Is your AC adapter malfunctions or there is something wrong with the power supply to electronic s laptop.
In the first case you could purchase a new compatible AC adapter and could check if the laptop can run successfully.
The second possibility is a serious hardware problem, but in this case, the laptop must be checked by an authorized technician.

  • C50-A-19 t satellite does not start with the battery mounted

    OK, first post here.

I see similar questions coming, but as they are never QUITE the same, I am that posing in a new thread.

I left my Satellite from one day to the next (do not remember if I had put off, or he simply had 'gone to sleep', but it has been connected to the grid).

When I got to reboot, I got a power light on, but screen blank (black). After reading a few similar complaints on the internet (via another laptop!), I tried to remove the battery and power from the grid.
This worked well (I write him in this state right now).

But whenever I put the battery and try again, it will fail in the same way.
I tried this company "press and hold power for 30 seconds" without success (but I'm not 100% sure of the EXACT procedure actions sequence).

    I have a few questions:

    (1) I take the laptop away from my office - is there a problem with everything just works like this (i.e. of the grid, with no battery inserted) indefinitely?

    (2) in any case, I want to solve the problem.
If the battery has run COMPLETELY flat, and that the laptop can not it lights but also operate normally?

Alternatively, is probably that the battery has not experienced a catastrophic failure and simply needs to replace?
If so, I'll just buy a. BUT...

What I don't want to do, is to pay for a costly spare battery, to find that it was actually another factor at the origin of the problem, and I'm back to square one and out of Pocket!

    Any advice would be welcome.

    Thank you

    Mike

    Hello

According to your assignment, in most cases, you use the laptop connected to the power adapter but no battery. Is this correct?

First we need to know that if the AC adapter is plugged in, the laptop should work correctly with - and without inserting the battery.
If you unplug the AC adapter, the laptop should automatically switch to battery power. In this case, it is important that the battery is pretty cool power to provide the power for the laptop.
In case the battery is empty, the laptop will not light.

I recommend to insert the battery plug the power adapter and charge the battery for a longer period of time.

You should also check if the battery is recognized by the Windows system and the battery charge indicator (battery in the taskbar icon) shows the State of battery charge.

In case the battery is fully charged and the laptop does not work using the battery power only, you should test the new battery.
If new battery does not solve the problem, s for laptop hardware needs an audit.

  • Why Apple does not have a backup battery for Apple devices?

Why Apple does not have a backup battery for Apple device? Recommended us that of our full when we are on the road, so they should do a backup battery for their devices instead of other companies do. The backup battery that I use for my iPhone 5 c don't let my phone screen timeout as he does when I'm with the regular wall charger. Can anyone help?

Consult the manual for your backup battery.  There should be a switch or a button to activate the phone load.  It should not be left in charge mode all the time because the phone thinks it has unlimited power when charging, so disabled several energy-saving features (like display sleep, closing a connection Wi - Fi when he sleeps).

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I understand that the computer has problems connecting to the networks without wire on the battery life. I'll do my best to help you! After some research, I actually found a Microsoft document that contains the steps I would have provided for your problem: you may experience problems with connectivity or performance issues when you connect a portable computer that runs Windows to a wireless access point

Please try these steps and let me know what happens. Thank you!

  • Qosmio G40; LAN adapters do not work and no Internet on AOL?

    Hello
I have a Qosmio G40 notebook and am running Vista with Aol and a Speedtouch 576 everything was fine until yesterday, when I couldn't log on (error code 31).
My drivers cannot load according to the error message and I can't check for solutions I'm obviosly don't have a connection.

Have looked at the download section, I can't seem to find a solution.

    Any help is appreciated.

Generally, the error code 31 says that a driver could be corrupt.

    Microsoft said:
This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

It looks more like a software problem!

I believe your AOL software messed the BONES and therefore the Lan driver and the system doesn't work properly.

Check the Device Manager before installing the AOL software.
Do you see yellow exclamation points?

  • Qosmio G40-12 s is not booting

Recently my Qosmio G40 had a blue screen and poured out the physical memory, it took so long, I remember he stopped at 75%, then I restarted the laptop and came with the Qosmio logo, I spent my finger, certified, shows hdd1 unlocked and hdd2 unlocked and that is where it stops, never been spent there.

I hooked the due to another system, but do not initialized because it is locked. Now I cannot access my information and cannot use my system.

Please I need emergency aid. Thanks for the reply

    Hi John,.

So for the time being, you are not able to start Windows, right?

You can access the Windows Advanced Boot menu if you press the F8 key? If Yes, select Safe mode and try to start Windows.

Additionally, make sure that both hard drives are recognized in the BIOS correctly. If Yes and Windows doesn t it starts, looks like that you have to do a Toshiba Recovery disk recovery facility because Windows is confused upward and can start to t.

  • Qosmio F60 - display environment does not support protected playback

    Qosmio F60

When I tried to watch a disc blue ray through a plasma phillips TV 50PF9960/69, the television and the computer displayed the following message "your environment display does not support protected reading content". Phillips responded that the TV is HDCP. I can watch a DVD on the TV through the same optical drive. Y at - it the problem with reading discs Blue ray on a Qosmio F60 in the TV?

The blue ray disc displayed on the computer without any problem when it is disconnected from the TV.

    Do any one help please?

    Hello

I read in some forums on this error message.
For the most part this message if one of the devices does not support HDCP.
It seems somehow the HDCP key has been lost between 2 devices (monitor and laptop).

On the other hand, the CD/DVD drive can be assigned to another region of the country.
If you want to play DVDs created for other regions, then this error code could appear generally too.

  • Qosmio F50 - Fn + F8 does not

    Hi all

I have a Qosmio F50 - 10Z. Everything worked fine when I got first it - a couple of years now. But at some point the fn + F8 rocking has stopped working so that it can no longer use the wireless connection.

He used to switch between the different symbols, I would choose "All On" and he would happily link. No symbols appear now, so I can't connect wirelessly. The wireless forward button left of the laptop working (turned on) and sometimes, if I do a reboot to safe mode, it can connect wireless on its own.

You can probably guess I am quite technical, although I tried a lot of things on the net, I'm puzzled. If anyone has any advice, I would be very grateful, it's driving me potty stuck upstairs in the back room!

p.s. the other fn keys work

    Hello

As you probably know n t, the VAP (value added package) and the Support of Flash Card Utility control the FN keys.
I recommend first to refresh the memory Flash Card Support utility.
Go to start-> all programs-> Toshiba-> Card Support Flash Utility-> restart

If this does not work, reinstall the Flash Card Utility Support

    Good luck

  • Qosmio F10 - Media library does not start

    Hello

I have a Qosmio F10. My media library does not start.
I get the message the application did not work properly. OK to close the application

Someone please advice me what to do.
    Thanks in advance.

I agree with Akuma. At the end you must install new OS. As already wrote Akuma, back up all your important data and use recovery for any new OS install media.

It is a radical method, but most effective. ;)

  • Qosmio F10: Driver Installation does not detect the wireless network card

I wonder if anyone can help before I phone supported again. My motherboard is dead and ASP replaced and recovered my laptop qosmio F10. Since having back, my wireless card did not work.

Windows detects a "network controller" whenever it starts and gives me the opportunity to install it. I tried to install it by navigating in the 'tools and utilities' records CD rom for folders and subfolders of "Wireless network driver" and it still does not detect the card.

I also tried to install using the cd rom web gui and selected the 'Pilot wireless network' link and then tried to install it. It opens a dos command prompt and try to install but comes up with the error "failed installation.

I ran the customer service and they told me to run the qosmio recovery/then recovery of product/recovery of qosmio and again...

I still don't the card wireless not yet installed. This happened to someone else?

I tried already shot the drivers from the web, but with no luck... If a representative of customer service with the help of good technical knowledge that would be great, or if someone has encountered the problem too and he had fixed to the give me some advice...

    Thank you very much

    Sean

    Hello

you see the card wireless as an unknown device in Device Manager? If this is not the case, perhaps that the card was not properly installed after replacing the motherboard.

Sorry I have no other idea.

    Good bye

  • Re: Qosmio G30 (PQG32) - buttons does not work

I have a problem with my Qosmio G30 HD-DVD. I use Windows Vista 64 bit Ultimate, but my buttons will not work. I tried to download the drivers for it, but I couldn't find a 32-bit version.
    Can someone help me?

I also tried to download util_tvap that should work, but the problem is that I have to configure my own buttons here, and I don't know how to set up a play etc button because you provide a path.

    Hey,.

Do you mean the buttons between the screen and the keyboard?

I think the reason is the 32-bit version of the Package of added value. If you have a 64 bit OS, you need drivers 64-bit as well.
If you are looking for on the official website of Toshiba Qosmio G40 G50, you can find the package of added value for Vista 64-bit. It should work on your laptop too. In addition, after the installation of VAP, you n t have to configure the buttons. Everything will solve automatically.
