    Former title: QTCore4.dll

recently, I tried to play my Sims3 game and got a pop up saying error QtCore4.dll is absent please re - install. I did some research on the assumption that it was a mistake of the Sims3 game. I read on some information about a lot of people receiving this error specifically.

There are a lot of different solutions. Some sites say that I had to install this QtCore4.dll and would solve the problem. Although some people say that this worsens the problem. I decided to uninstall the game that has an alternative. Although this error always comes to the top.

    What can I do?

    Hello

Qtcore4.dll belongs to EADM (Electronic Arts Download Manager) and should be in c:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EADM directory (for 32-bit systems). If it is not there you will need to reinstall EADM (Electronic Arts Download Manager).

Download new version from the link below and save it on the hard drive.
    http://eastore.EA.com/store/EA/HTML/pbPage.welcome...2caUcAAAAX&rests=1265212714560

    Step 1.
You can use the programs and features to uninstall programs or to change the configuration of the program by adding or removing certain options.
Uninstall the old EADM of programs in Control Panel and install EADM (Electronic Arts Download Manager), you just download.

For more information on uninstalling the programs under Windows, please refer to the link below.

Note: Restart the computer after uninstalling the old EADM to apply the changes.

    Step 2.
Once the computer is restarted, and then install the new version of EADM that we just saved on the computer.

    Hi Budge3263,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. You have security software installed on the computer?

QtCore4.dll is part of the development environment for a number of applications, including Photoshop Elements.

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

I can't open some programs, specifically Photoshop Elements 6.0 due the QtCore4.dll error not found messages.

QTCore4.dll is part of the development environment for a number of applications, including Photoshop Elements.  It may have been deleted by a too aggressive antivirus application.

Search your hard drive for QT4Core.  If you find QT4Core.dll, copy it to C:\Windows\system32. If you can't find it on your hard drive, it may be in the elements install files, where they (CD?) like QT4Core.dl_, in which case you will need to use the Expand command in a command prompt window:

    Expand D:/path/qt4core.dl_ c:/windows/system32

where "D:/path is the letter of the CD drive and the path to the qt4core.dll_.

Or just reinstall Photoshop Elements and the file should be included in reinstall it.

Goh Hey! I had the same problem.  It is caused by moboengine software.  This has happened with me after you have uninstalled it.

Navigate to C:\program files (x 86) \moboengine and remove this directory, make sure that you have killed the daemonprocess.exe execution program in your first task manager ;)

I've seen a few posts on dropping out of it and I've not seen it stop or a fix that works.

I use Illustrator any length of time (upwards and takes place a few minutes until it for weeks) and as soon as I stop (either by file-> exit, the X in the corner or Alt-> F4) he closed panels and after a bit that will appear "Adobe Illustrator CS6 has stoppped working.  Microsoft is looking for a solution to this problem. »

It records the recently opened files.  All the settings seem to save as I need to reset the.  But of course his worrying.

    Note:

    1. Everything has been unisnstalled and reinstalled 3 times.
    2. All permissions are always correct.
    3. I tried running it as administrator and always having it happens
    4. Illustrator was the only program of all those installed to have this problem.

Are there patches that I missed?  I am a customer of cloud could therefore expect a patch for awhile now out to solve this, as I've updated Illustrator a few times from the beginning using CS6.

In research in newspapers the dynamically error were:
