  This means that you have previously imported these pictures/videos into Lightroom, and you must not (and are not allowed to) import them again.

  Go to your library Module (not the import dialog box) and find the photos, then you can make use of them in any way you want in Lightroom.

• Levels, threshold, and other image compression does not

  I try to hyper to compress the tonal range of a noise layer in order to get the task, but I can't get any adjustments stick. They display properly, but as soon as they are applied the image returns to its original state. The adjustment is listed in my story, but there is no visible effect on the image. This is true for a time setting and adjustment layers. Adjustment layers are I think the worst because the preview correctly in direct, but flattening, conversion of a dynamic object or a visible stamp all delete all adjustment.   Adjustments preview correctly especially on an image that is detailed with especially pure black or pure white pixels saw less than 100%. If you view at 100% (actual Pixels) you can see what real effect (if any) the settings are seen.  Usually, in turtorials like that, you put a little blur on the noise layer to give a few gray pixels for adjustments to act on.

  (In fact, in your case, you can see the images before and after incorrectly.) Such fine detail, high contrast will only show right to 100% view).

  In your Lightroom preferences, there is an option to treat JPEG files next to raw separate image files. If you check this option, then Lightroom will import JPEG images, but also raw images. Once you select this option you can synchronize files that have already been imported and JPEG images will be added to the catalog.

  I have a weird problem with GIF and JPG images which I use in a RoboHelp project. They seem to be damaged, but I nor no one else modifies them. The lower part becomes garbled or entirely black.   1. put the image files you want in the slide show in an album and genre as you want. Follow the Apple document to prepare images for iDVD: iDVD ' 09 (7.x): preparing images for iDVD slideshows

  2 - Launch iDVD and select an older theme, not animated.  You can change the background of the theme by dragging the image file of your choice, black or other, in the display pane for the menu.

  3 - Click on the button '+' and add a slideshow from the menu.

  5. in the media pane click the Photos button.

  Once the project you want it save it as an image disk via the menu file → save as Disk Image . It will separate from the process of encoding of the burning process.

  To check coding mount the disk image, launch a DVD player and read it.  If it plays OK with DVD, encoding is good.

  Burn burn to disc with utility disk or toasts to the slowest speed (2 x - 4 x) in order to ensure the best quality.  Always use higher quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are recommended in these forums.

  I have recently switched from Aperture to Lightroom and am generally impressed.  However, I noticed a few problems in the export of images in JPG format especially noticeable when it comes to portraits on dark gray background.  You can see a few important and noticeable "scaling" in the background.  , I work on a MacBook Pro.  I know that it is a function of the algorithms Lightroom uses to compress the image and generate the JPG file

  I played a bit with file setting quality and image resizing in the export module and can reduce the effect, but it is always present.  I tried to work with the same image on the PC of my mother, using his 5 Lightroom and can not get the same effect.  The attached picture was not resized, but the quality is reduced to 50.  If I work quality at 100, the effect is reduced but still present.

  In conclusion, to export I get a crispy JPG image in Aperture and Lightroom 5 on a PC, but get serious distortion when exporting to jpg in Lightroom CC on my Mac

  Someone else has experienced this problem and / or know how to fix this problem?

  

  Mac image has been heavily modified with the white balance different, grinding lower, higher noise, lower saturation, Spot Removal tool and probably other settings. The image of PC seems to the "default parameters of development, which are quite different from the image of Mac processed. Since the unprecedented image of PC has not the development parameters, you used the image of banding Mac are causing the problem. This is why I suggested showing the original edited Mac image as a DNG on Dropbox export file, allowing us to see the picture with your LR settings.

  I'm working on a project for a client and the only files that were provided are low quality .jpg images. I already brought up the ppi to 300, but as with all .jpg images, there is only for many this can be done, I'm afraid.

  I just wanted to check with the community to see if there is some advice that I might have missed. I want to make sure you have covered all the bases.

  P.S. I am these cutting and exporting to PNG files. Then maybe there is a way to at least soften the edges of the cut?

  You cannot create information after it has been packed away, but you can remove the checkerboard patterns and artifacts of mosquito with a plugin like "Topaz" DeJepeg https://www.topazlabs.com/dejpeg I use it all the time and can't say I've seen any other plugin do a better job. Its about $30, but they give you a free month assessment. The images are inevitably more soft, but you can always sharpen them.

  JPEG splits RGB in Y of Luminance and Chrominance Cb, Cr

  (by more precise nomenclature: coded inverse gamma numbers r 'B').

  JPEG compression does not fear the lines of Luminance and Chrominance.

  JPEG reduced the number of levels of tones of the scale, less for Y, more for Cb, Cr nets;

  mainly by reducing higher frequency components.

• Acrobat 9 Pro - change Image Compression/quality w / Javascript?

  I have a script to the folder level that will merge PDF files using "insertPages" to add a list of PDF files to a new document. The file size is too large, and I noticed that if I go in the PDF Optimization manually and change the Image settings, so the quality of compression is 'low' for images in color and grayscale images, it brings the size of the file where I need it to be.

  My question is, can I do this in my script somehow? I see nothing in the Javascript reference or Acrobat SDK to update the images in the document. I really want to automate this optimization in my script.
