• BBc Iplayer does not download

  I've been downloading programs from BBC Iplayer on my netbook with windows 7 starter for several years now. A few weeks ago it stopped working. The program I want to appear in the box to download the BBC Iplayer, but the download does not start.   BBC iPlayer Desktop is powered by Adobe Air (Adobe Integrated Runtime). When you install BBC iPlayer Desktop also install Adobe Air components. If you have already installed Adobe Air, you need to uninstall iPlayer and Adobe Air file and then remove the directory location where it is saved.   Try these steps, check to see if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.

  1. Check AirPlay is on the Apple TV (turn market if it already is)
  2. Check that both devices are on the same network (settings > Wifi on the mobile device and the settings > general > network, on the Apple TV).
  3. Restart the Apple TV (settings > general > restart).
  4. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
  5. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)
  6. Restart your computer or mobile device.

  If you're still having problems, try to use 802.11n for wifi if you currently use 802. 11B or 802. 11 g.

  I gave up using Airplay on my ATV3 long ago and now connect my Mac HDMI because it is much more stable and the quality is exceptional. But I don't like streaming and prefer to download everything first. If I can download programs using the ATV4 iPlayer app so I'll probably have the ATV4; If this isn't the case, then I will probably go for a TV of fire from Amazon.

  BBC iPlayer lets you download and store the content, but it does not allow content to spread faster it is played, so build a buffer. In addition streaming nothing of AirPlay, it uses only 1/3 bandwidth and does not have the same questions. BBC iPlayer has never been a problem for me on my Apple TV.
