Question of chipset G35 IPIBL-LB

I have a question that drives me crazy, is my card mother sli compatible, because I was looking for more graphic power, but I don't know if it is or is not

Your a6654f pc does not support SLI. E chipset supports 1 pci express card.

-supports 1 PCI Express x 16 slot for external graphic support

I'd get a good video card and upgrade of power also because it's 300W.

  • Question of Chipset IEEE Tecra M5-389

    Hi on board,
just a quick question to see if the new model Tecra M5-389, which I'm looking to buy has a Texas Instruments firewire onboard chipset. I guess that it should not be the exact model that I'm sure that the same chipset would be used in the new family of M5, can someone check for me?

    Thanks in advance
    Mr. Slots

To my knowledge the Tecra M5 (PTM51E) supports a consistent Texas Instruments OHCI IEEE 1394 host controller.

I hope this info helps a bit

  • Question of chipset on Satellite A660 - 1 H 5

I recently discovered the problem of chipset in some computers laptop toshiba. Apparently, my laptop is affected by the problem. IM using the Core i7 2630QM.

    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/bulletinDetail.jsp?soID=2926784&PF=true

It says at the bottom of this page I have us communicate by Toshiba, if I bought the direct Toshiba laptop which I did not. I bought it on this site. What am I supposed to do? I can't find any information on how to return the laptop with a full refund and I can't find any info on my laptop because apparently there are more.

The link you posted is for US market, but I think that your laptop is not designed for the USA.

  • Tecra M9 (PTM91E) how to remove the installed software / how to stop HARD drive

Just having a play with the new "beastie" and it seems to be exactly what I want. However, some problems are annoying me.

    1. the installed bloatware!

    2. the disk drive continually ticks away when the machine is at rest. Investigation with a sniffer package/program indicates that the service of AMT is continually send and receive data packets of bytes 70 to the client on the computer. Every second or two. Using about 2-3% of cpu resources in the process.

Basically, I use the laptop as a stand-alone work station and see no need to have a service that constantly questions the chipset for so-called mistakes and supposed to be written to the log of sysevent. He feels the potential of surveillance unsolicited - which I suspect that someone made.

The question is... do I need to have the AMT (lms & ums) software on the system - and if not, can I uninstall stop the activity continuous disc shatter tocking without adversely affecting the operation of the equipment?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I am somewhat concerned by the AMT of documentation I've read - purely a question of 'private life '. I don't relish the idea of having someone with intelligence to write external programs that can enter into the bowels of the machine to interrogate harware/bios/sysevents, etc. (even when he is off!)

I can understand it to a company, IT control aspects, but as a user of the singular that occasionall uses the internet.

    Thank you!

    Hi Ron

    (1) I don't know what bloatware do you mean exactly, but to be honest, there is no installed bloarware.
Is that Toshiba laptops support different features and different functions that must be controlled by a software/driver. If you would remove such software then you would not be able to use the FN keys for example
Anyway, if you want to remove some pre-installed applications then you can do this in Control Panel-> programs & features control

    (2) sorry but AMT software does not know me basically there s nothing unusual you HDD ticks from time to time. The same thing happens on my laptop even though that I don t use the laptop. I think that it s a Windows operating system.

  • DM4-3090se animated with your help, but the drivers are missing!

After having burned a dvd using imgburn, I managed to re - load a clean Windows7 in my laptop! Also, I burned another dvd with 1 driver I chose the recommended list of HP-specific drivers for my laptop to re - activate my internet connection (SP65242.exe). It made me put it back online. Then I started the process to download all of the drivers needed to bring all the features of the laptop. But I have the impression of being in the dark than drivers to d/l! Those who will work and who will cause problems?  There are a lot of choices in each group of pilots. Some are Intel and others are AMD. There is Broadcom or something else. Then there is question of chipset I don't know with a warning that he is not coming back!  So I have to ask for help again. Is there a program to ID my laptop so the correct drivers are selected?  I know now to save a copy of SWSetup for next time!

You need all the drivers under Chipset. Also Audio. Driver Synaptics & fingerprints are in the same section. HP SimplePass who works with fingerprints is under 'software security '. Regarding the wireless you know you have--if you remember from before? If this is not the case, show the the hardware ID to the Device Manager.

In fact you could with just install Intel Chipset - then in 'Utility-tools' download and install HP Support Assistant. It can scan your machine and perhaps offer drivers for the rest.

  • HP DL145 compatible?

    Hello

I have a chance to get a second hand HP Server. Is it possible to install ESX 4 on this machine. The following features

    Thanks in advance

Server HP Proliant DL145 G2 DUAL OPTERON 2.6 Ghz 8GB RAM 2 TB HDD

How the DL145 will cost you?

Still, I tend to stay away from something this old (pushing at least 4 years now)... I draw the line at the age of 3 years. As more that you want the system to operate for at least a few more years.

Without information on what controller will be the readers using (specific questions controller chipset) I'd no more take a single drive. Unless (no doubt and a guarantee from the seller), you can confirm that it IS a hardware RAID controller.

Right now I'm under two (32 bit) CentOS to VM, a RHEL VM (vMA), a virtual machine (64-bit) of Windows Server 2008 R2 for Exchange 2010 soon, two Windows Server 2003 standard (32-bit) and a (also 32-bit) Enterprise VM on my T7400 system (16 GB of RAM). I also run unit vDR (most of the time, offline for now so that I get a new iSCSI solution aligned) as well as normally run an another Server 2003 that hosts database server a 9 of LANDesk. Having 16 GB of RAM is very convenient because all people running usually eat about 12 GB of memory of the hosts. I almost never see more than two cores of the CPU power of server being consumed. At some point I will probably provide more RAM to the host, so that I can have the several virtual machines running at the same time. I am executed seven of nine possible virtual machines now and consumes about 7 GB of RAM of the host.

The T7400 is less than two years (delivered in September 2008)... I expect to perform the height for at least two more years. Most likely, I'll finish by moving to other duties and get new (real) servers to support VMware hosting it is doing. I could have with a system of lower/less expensive? No doubt. But I wouldn't trust (in the home) I have at the present time.

  • A few Questions on the Qosmio G35-AV650 series

I have some questions that I would ask to my Qosmio G35-AV650.

    1: I've updated the BIOS to v1.4 (2005), to v3.3 (2007), to install Vista.
Vista does not work so I removed it - I guess that I need to update the drivers again.
In any case, I got my PC to normal - delete the partition allocated to Vista and reset the boot record.
However, there was something that happened to my pc. The model has been replaced by "Laptop".

My DVD DO NOT work for recovery. It says 'BAD COMPUTER'. IM wondering how it could have happened.
If anyone could shed some light on what might have changed the name of the template, do so.
The only thing I can think is the update of the BIOS. Any ideas?

2: my HARD drive crashed at 1 point of time before. In order to
avoid any loss of data, I have intertwined around hard drives and reinstalled XP on the secondary HARD drive.
However, this is somewhat troblesome. First of all, the Qosmio player no longer, because it is
the disk of HARD original 1. Secondly, if I did a reinstall on 1 HARD drive, it would remove the Qosmio Player?

Third, if I put the hard drives back to the initial placement and boot from HDD 2, HDD 1 IS NOT recognized by the PC.

It seems I have TO boot from HDD 1 for 2 HDD is picked up by windows.
Is there a way to test PC to start from 1 HARD disk then boot from the disk HARD 2, eventually recognize two hard disks?
Or is there a way to manually "load" both hard drives?

3: what would you recommend to do if Windows won't recognize the Bluetooth device. I know that his work.
I installed a Virtual Machine and installed the bluetooth in it. It is during the driver installation process
that the installation crashes with devices NOT picked up by the operating system. Any ideas? I can't use the recovery DVD trying to install
    the original drivers [see #1].

How can 4: if I'm using the standard Windows Xp CD, I load the Toshiba RAID drivers? The only thing I see
includes a floppy drive, which does not have the kaptop.

I know this is a long post :)
Thank you for your responses and reaing.

Man, these are some deep questions. Your laptop looks new, under warranty? If so, go back to Toshiba and make them understand the 'thing'. These things are problematic I know... it is a little hidden from any sale side isn't it.

If you want to put in Vista, just follow all the instructions in the Forum of Francisco - you can tell that's the one with the most comments. If you follow the messages from scratch, you will be able to get your business laptop.

Francisco is our leader of the sect. He's awesome. He saved us where Toshiba does not have. Welcome to the fraternity.

  • This chipset is Satellite L300-110 uses & software question

    I have two main questions:

    1. I just want to know what kind of chips is being used in the Toshiba Satellite L300-110, so I will know if you want to enable AHCI or RAID/AHCI only?

    2. I used to have some software bundle with my MS Vista OS installed ready, but when I installed Win7 MS I couldn't find this software anywhere, the most important for me are:
    Toshiba - Camera Assistant Software
    -Toshiba DVD Player
    -Ulead® DVD MovieFactory® for TOSHIBA
    -Toshiba Face Recognition
So, I appreciate if someone can tell me where to get these software once again, as I really need?

    P. S.
I don't need the full software bundle, and I couldn't find value add software to download driver.

    Thanks for the support.

    Hello

    As for the question:

    (1) the laptop supports the Chipset Mobile Intel® GL960 Express. The motherboard supports only SATA HDD controller and RAID is not available!
In the BIOS, you can change the mode of the SATA AHCI controller or in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode allows you to install an OS windows without installation or driver SATA!

    (2) Ulead® DVD MovieFactory® is a 3rd party. This means that you can not download this software. This software is only part of the image of Toshiba (recovery) which is preinstalled on the Toshiba laptop.
Other applications (Toshiba DVD Player, webcam, facial recognition software) can be downloaded from the page of European driver of Toshiba.

    Welcome them

    Hi CharlyBarks,

Drivers available on the site are compatible with Windows Vista.
Please uninstall the video driver to "Programs and features" and restart the computer.

Download the driver from this link http://dell.to/15ZTHQ1 and go to this place C:\dell\Drivers\R197054. Right click on the file "Setup" and select "Properties". Click on the "Compatibility" tab make sure that the settings specified in the image are selected. • SOS - NVidia Chipset, Vista 64-bit, Intel Quad core CPU & > 4 GB RAM questions

    Hello!
One cannot explain the question about more than 4 GB of RAM, 64-bit Vista Ultimate, NVidia Chipset and Intel Core 2 Quad CPU.
I have a MSI P6N SLI Motherboard (NVidia Nforce 650i SLI Chipset) with 6 GB of RAM DDR2 800, Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU, 2 x GeForce 8600GT in SLI Mode.
32 bit Vista ultimate works fine with my PC, but whenever I try to install a 64-bit windows vista Ultimate Edition, a BSOD with the STOP error message is displayed. Not much happens if the RAM is reduced to 3 GB. The most strange, when I tried to install Windows 7 in this same configuration, there was no this problem.

    Kind regards...

    Hello

There is an error in timing known when installing Vista 64 bit on a system with all the ram slots 4 full on a card mother dual channel. It has nothing to do with the size of the total ram. The simple solution is to install x 64 with only the two bench 0 Visa slots filled, and then add the other two sticks back when the installation is complete. • A few questions about the installation of the Intel Chipset drivers

Out of curiosity... and I know that this may sound like a stupid question... Lets say you have installed chipsets Intel first you're supposed to do... then you install the rest (Management Interface Intel, graphics, SATA, Audio, network and all other driver updates required).
What happens when 6 months later, a newer version of the Intel Chipset Software becomes available?
    !. Install you or not?
    2. If you do not install a version more recent Intel chipsets don't you then have to install all your drivers hardware ((Interface de gestion Intel, graphics, SATA, Audio, réseau) again? IE does affect the previous drivers you may have installed in a recommended installation order.) I'm asking this is because I know its critics that the Intel Chipsets are installed before anything else and Im not 100% sure why, but I have a good idea.
A newer version of the Intel Chipsets would affect all previous hardware drivers that you have installed or would it just make new chipsets more compatible with all new devices you might install in the future without interfering with previous drivers for any hardware that you have already installed?
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. Im just trying to better understand how to work the Intel Chipsets

    Hi Delboy777,

    To answer your questions;

    1 Yes

    2 NO.

For the initial installation of the operating system, chipset driver allows the OS to recognize the best material. But the chipset driver update doesn't impact no other drivers, even if it can improve compatibility.

  • HP 250 G4: HP 250 G4 Driver Chipset/questions

Hello ladies and people. My friend recently bought a 250 HP G4 and we tried to get the drivers installed properly for three days.

The laptop was purchased completely devoid of any software, and the store told us that you had to install chipset first before installing all the drivers, they do however not mention what chipsets to install and what not.

If anyone has an idea of what to first install and what not to get the laptop works properly, it would really help.

Unfortunately, I have no idea why what is happening or what to do about it other than to contact HP support and submit a case of taking supported by warranty.

  • Question about drivers for chipset Vista for Satellite U200 - 10 K

    Hello.

Where can I get this stuff? Download page for Vista site contains all the points including the word "Chipset".

And what is 'Bluetooth monitor? Should I install? The last time I did, some problems have emerged in the Device Manager, and after I reinstlled Bluetooth Stack, all backed to normal.

First of all, I would like to explain the Bluetooth monitor:
This application toggle Bluetooth module in conjunction with Microsoft Bluetooth Stack. To use the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack click on "Bluetooth Monitor" icon in the taskbar. Click on the option "wireless". Click on the 'Bluetooth' tab on the 'Add' button and follow the directions given.

And chipset, you can go to the website of intel and download the latest drivers for chipset also directly from the manufacturer of chipset-> www.intel.com

    Hope this would help
