  It is normal that the timer to appear during the installation of the applications.  It disappears once the application is installed.

  I'm getting used to my Blackberry Curve 9360, but when I turn on my phone, two or three times a day, all emails and messages show the time that I turned on my phone and not the moment where they were sent. Is it possible that I can change this? I need to know when the messages were sent to me, not when my phone was turned on? Help is appreciated thank you in advance.

  Text messages are managed by your carrier. I can only suggest to use a client of sms 3rd party like SMSCrunch. Maybe, that can give you the time, it was sent or received.

  You can also ask your carrier for the same information and whether they can send it to you (some of my friends who make heavy texting, have asked their carriers send delivery times with their bills.)

  I got my blackberry now for about 5 months & very impressed. However, I continue to lack of my phone calls that the ringing time is very short (about 5 seconds).

  It is best to call your operator and ask them to "extend the deadline before the voicemail picks up.

  It is normally set to 15 seconds. You can go up to 30 seconds.

  I just changed to a Dell Axim to a curve.  The Axim when it is attached to my desktop to synchronize automatically, that I made changes in my calendar, etc.  The curve seems to require my manually by clicking the sync on the BB Desktop button to update before leaving the office.  Is there a way to synchronize as the Axim has done?

  Hi, think that I understand your question so here's my suggestion. 1, when you look on the back key (to the right of the trackball) it minimized the screen. 2, then press the previous new & you will return to the media menu. 3, then you can press the red button to hang. When you return to your media file & viddied, you should be able to click on 'now playing' option & it should bring back you. Unfortunately the media player will continue to run in the background (the video stops), but it will reduce your battery time & memory resource, I guess that if your watching a movie you BB are connected when even if this isn't a problem.   While not not new to BB, I'm new on my Storm 9530. That being said, I have a question about the memory cleaning option on my BB Storm. Should I allow it and let it run all the time or should I just use if necessary. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

  I leave it on on my Storm. I know that the manual inside the applications folder can actually reduce the amount of RAM free. I had 32MB or so free, ran the Manual vacuum and ended up with about 28 MB.

  1st, I started having issues, try to connect to my voicemail with T - Mob. I called them, they had to re - setup my voicemail and (update of the settings for my Blackberry to connect properly saying this would happen over a period of 4 hours). They got my answering machine until tonight here. Later this week I get a notification there are applications that have are updates available, so I go to the app world. Things a then from bad to worse - apps I tried to update, new to download and try checking 'My World', I started having the (40760 out of line device) and another code error telling me to connect? >

  Do a battery pull and when the phone back up I get error message "completed Application: MPTT was denied permission to cross-application communication.'"

  My phone is an unlocked Tour 9630 from Verizon, and I have a monthly plan with TMobile, including the data packet.

  Lookiong after this error code (KB24874) it leads me to believe that there is some kind of conflict with the "push to talk" Service Verizon which is not supported by T-Mobile. This problem started when I called T-Mobile to the difficulty of voicemail and they have really no incentive to help me because I have an unlocked phone that they do not initially sell for me...

  It is a basic app and I can't remove it... Can I disable or restrict its permissions to stop this conflict? Is there anything I can do wireless or a parameter to change since I don't have a computer at home - only at work?

  YAY! I fixed it! I got tothinking on these permissions and I went back to them and reset them to "refuse" to "default" (who put them to 'allow') and attempted to access app world and it worked - everything worked!

  MPTT is the name of the libraries in the application 'push to talk' and I guess it still needs to set to 'allow' in same permissions if the app is not supported by TMobile.

  Thanks for the forums. Even if no one responded, have a place as it has helped me to analyze my own of all the posts that I have sought.

  Somehow, I put my phone only "rings" for a few seconds when someone calls me. Now I can't find how to change it. The result is that I can never answer before the call is transferred to my voicemail. How can I change this? Help!

  Check the following-

  Channel GSM: * 61 * [phone number] * 11 * [time] #.

  Instead of phone number of your voice mail box number (call your operator to find out who) and instead of putting any value, i.e. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30. These values are seconds, after which your calls will be diverted/forwarded to voicemail. Setting a higher value will respond to your request.

  This string is only applicable GSM carriers.

  As with most of the cases, you have some request, probably a third-party application installed on your device letting you notifications of something. I don't know what, I don't know than what you have installed on your BlackBerry.

  I suggest this, go through EACH of the icons of your application on your BlackBerry and check each one. It could be weather alert notifications, there might be messages from an instant messaging application.

  I just got got off the phone with my Verizon carrier, they can extend to 30 seconds before VM picks it up.

  I suggest you call you call your operator. There is no option on the BB for this.
